So, that manor had been abandoned since no one had ever owned the place due to things that went bump in the night. That kind of stuff was something that scientific explanation could explain, though science couldn't explain what kind of ghosts lurked in this manor. And those ghosts were probably the reason why people were scared of them. Not her though. Ghosts were something that she embraced, considering that she lived in a city where ghosts were common. Now that she had a ghost-type of her own plus a water bug, she was ready to set out on her first journey into the unknown. There will be perils ahead and most likely, some Pokemon that will be either difficult or easy.
(Zorua or Honedge. Mostly because swords or foxes are cool.)

A Honedge had appeared out of the darkness and it was apparently a female. Well, that was fine. She pulled out her Surskit's Pokeball and threw it. A water bug had came out and was happily sliding next to his trainer. "Alright, Senketsu. It's your turn to help me catch a Pokemon. Use Bubblebeam!" Senketsu launched a stream of bubbles in the wild Honedge's direction in which she recoiled in pain. The Honedge used her hilt to smash the water bug and he skidded while he tried to hold his ground. That attack that the Honedge used was assumed to be Iron Head though it didn't do much since Senketsu was part water-type. "Another Bubblebeam!" The water bug launched another stream of bubbles at the wild Honedge and she recoiled in pain again.
In response, the sword Pokemon used her hilt to hit the water bug again though the damage wasn't doing any favors. "Again, use Bubblebeam!" The water bug launched yet another stream of bubbles towards the Honedge and she doubled over in pain again. The sword Pokemon's blade turned purple as she slashed at the water bug. She assumed that attack was Night Slash and Senketsu felt another wave of pain hit his body. "One more Bubblebeam!" The water bug launched another stream of bubbles which dealt the final blow and the wild Honedge fell to the ground where a clanking sound could be heard. She took out an empty Pokeball and threw it at the sword Pokemon. Time will tell whether this Pokemon will be caught or not.

And the Pokeball had stopped after it wiggled a few times which meant that the wild Honedge was caught. Victory had come at last and she turned to the water bug. "You did a good job, Senketsu." The bug nodded and inspected the captured Honedge. She picked up the Pokeball which now contained the sword Pokemon and put in her pocket and the day was now over. Next time, she would be able to catch some more if time allowed it. Maybe her new Honedge will get some battles going for her too. Either way, her Surskit had his first battle and helped her catch a Pokemon and it had been exciting for the both of them. She left the manor with the water bug sliding next to her in tow.
