Head off to find another Pokemon, should be simple right? just head out somewhere in order to look for one... why did no one say anything about there being Graveyards here of all things? I mean seriously? Why did it have to be graveyards, normally you'd have things like these blocked off, but i guess they must have decided not to. Chris found himself carefully walking through the graveyard with Dusk outside of her Pokeball walking alongside him equally as carefully, to avoid disturbing any of the graves, he figured there has to be some kind of Pokemon that he'd prefer around here? it's not all that uncommon to find Ghost types and Dark types around areas like these... he just hoped that it was accurate that such kinds of pokemon were here and that his trip wasn't all for naught. chris began glancing around, trying to spot any nearby pokemon, while still being careful to avoid disturbing the fallen... that would just be completely and utterly disrespectful to them.
(I would prefer a Murkrow if at all possible)

Still cautiously glancing around, for some strange reason it felt as if myself and dusk were being watched... Then again it's a graveyard so it wouldn't be all that surprising if we were being watched to make sure we don't defile any graves. Dusk, picking up on a pokemons scent, quickly turned ninety degrees, causing her to look towards a small amount of gas that could be seen at a nearby tombstone... And what kind of pokemon let's off gas? Poison types, typically Koffing and Weezing.
Dusk ended up tugging on Chris's arm in order to get him to look towards the stone, from which a koffing slowly revealed itself... Well, a pokemon is a pokemon, but what benefit will a Koffing give me? Levitate could be useful due to it giving me an option that wouldn't get defeated extremely quickly by Ground type moves, but I already have a pokemon who can provide better coverage than a koffing in thr form of my Skorupi... I don't see much benefit which will be acquired by catching such a pokemon. "come on dusk... Koffing isn't very beneficial to capture considering Skorupi's presence" Chris said to Dusk, who nodded and began heading off towards the north, with Chris following... Hopefully she'll find something good to try and catch.
(pass, since I don't see much application for a Koffing given Skorupi's presence)

As Chris and Dusk found themselves continuing to carefully travel northward through the graveyard, Dusk seemed to constantly have her head on a swivel, looking for any pokemon that could potentially be of use based on the current line of pokemon her partner had, which in a way could actually be somewhaf difficult, given the best possible answer would be a strong flying type, although how often do you find those in a graveyard? Eventually, Dusk found herself stopping and glaring to the left, she'd picked up on some kind of presence, which likewise put Chris on edge.
Gently floating into view, the presence revealed itself merely to be a Drifloon... That seems more like something that would make sense, being a Ghost type. Now then, time to begin thinking... How useful would a Drifloon be in general given the current situation... It could in a way come in useful due to it's typing, which makes both fighting and ground type moves, which currently could be considered the perfect answer to my team, pretty much useless, which would be a great benefit, but is it worth it to grab a pokemon purely for it's resistances if it can't survive a battle?
According to what knowledge Chris had about the species, it had a terrible movepool for taking on ground types, and it only gets a very, very weak flying type move to handle fighting types, which is quite a downside to the pokemon in general, which on it's own counterbalanced it's usefullness. Next though, something far more important, from what Chris knew Drifloon statistically was extremely weak defensively, and it's offensive power isn't all that great either, meaning that even with the type advantage, a good neutral hit would be devastating, even more so a super effective one... Over all it could be beneficial, but it's usefulness besides switching in to take attacks is pretty abysmal... Not worth spending a ball on, that's his verdict, if it was a drifblim, then maybe... But right now, not all that great.
Looking back to dusk, having been clearly deep in thought for a few minutes, Chris merely sighed before speaking. "Potentially not bad... But I don't see much use given the general capabilities of the species, good find though Dusk" Chris spoke, Dusk at this point seemed a little distraught, but smiled at the praise, causing Chris to smile back. Now heading northward once again with Dusk in tow... Guess I'll just have to hope the two of us get lucky and stumble upon a diamond in the rough.
(pass, I will admit Drifloon has some application, but given it's horrible natural offensive move capacity and generally low stats make it over all not a good choice, especially when it has an ability that suggests it truly wants to get Ko'd)

As Chris and dusk kept heading northward, getting close to end of the actual graveyard, they picked up on yet another presence watching them... I guess it has to be a Pokémon, it's not like there would be anyone else out here at this point in time. Dusk began looking around to find the presence, although she wasn't able to spot it, the presence certainly made itself known... it seemed to be trying to... torment us somehow? Or is it just a Pokémon muttering away to itself... guess we'll just have to find out. Dusk noticed something heading right for her trainer and alerted him, but whatever it was, it was too fast, it snatched away some of his money and flew off, which Dusk and Chris in pursuit.
Soon enough, Chris and Dusk found themselves in a small clearing, devoid of any gravestones, but the presence was definitely here somewhere. Dusk, keeping an eye on the tree line, noticed something moving, so she immediately pointed it out to Chris, who's reaction made perfect sense given the situation. "Dusk, use Ice Shard, shower it's general area with shards of ice to try and see if you can provoke it" Chris said quietly to Dusk, who nodded and prepared to do so. Unleashing a flurry of razor sharp shards of ice on the tree, primarily high up into the tree line, it appeared to strike the Pokémon's nest, causing it to reveal itself.
The Pokémon revealed itself to be a Murkrow by swooping down and delivering a powerful peck pretty much out of nowhere, striking Dusk in the chest... it was too strong to be a peck, so... Sucker punch maybe? that would probably be the most logical choice in terms of what attack it used. "Dusk, use Ice Shard once more, bring it down to earth if you can" Chris spoke, causing Dusk to once again throw up a volley of razor sharp shards, many of which successfully struck the Murkrow on the wings, causing it to drop to the ground for a moment, although It quickly got airborne once again. The Murkrow flew right at Dusk with it's wings outstretched, making it clear it was about to use wing attack, so Chris had Dusk make a somewhat risky move. "Dusk, use Metal Claw as it draws close, slam it into the ground in order to use it's own momentum against it" Chris ordered.
As the Murkrow got into range, Dusk managed to pull off what she had been ordered to do, her claw began to glow a metallic silver as she slammed it down into the back of the Murkrow's head, causing it to skid across the ground and fall unconscious from the raw power of the attack. Taking advantage of the situation, Chris quickly took out one of the academy balls he'd brought with him, and threw it towards the Pokémon... hopefully Dusk had weakened it enough, but only time will tell. Chris then managed to climb up the tree to find the Murkrow's nest, which was surprisingly empty... only his money was there, which he took back before climbing down.
