Coming to the academy was something that Tanya was still trying to get used to. She considered it a personal accomplishment that she had made it this far and she was going to reap all the benefits that were available to her. That of course, included the gaining of money.
Therefore, she headed towards the Financial Aid Center, not really sure what to expect. When she reached the counter, a small line was there, which she didn't mind too much. As she waited, she tapped her foot and thought about how her parents were doing back home and how her older brother's contest career was coming along.
Once she reached the front of the desk, she smiled at the person behind the desk and asked for her bi-weekly allowance.

That time of the year was coming again and not a moment too soon. Tanya was running sorely low on money. It was mostly due to how much money she was spending perfecting the movesets of pokemon that she wanted to use. Before she realized what happened, money flew out of her wallet so quickly that she lost track.
Running to the Financial Aid Center, she was glad that there wasn't that big of a queue. She wanted to get there as soon as possible to make sure she didn't miss out on the money and to prevent having to wait in long queues just to gain some money for her account. When she reached the counter, panting, she asked for her allowance.

Once again, the time had come to collect her money. Having recently been getting her pokemon prepared for the tournament, she now was in the awkward situation of being basically broke. She was glad she kept track of when they did have the allowance. Maybe she should save up some money. After all, there was that mining kit in the shop that could make her back quite a lot of money.
The felt like a mile away though and right now, she just needed something. Waiting in queue for the desk, Tanya started fidgeting, thinking about what she was going to do for the tournament. In her mind were about a million strategies, but she probably needed to take it at a slower pace. There may be such a thing as too much thinking.
Once she got up to the desk, she looked at the cashier and asked for her allowance.

Behold. Like magic, money appeared.
But, like logic dictates, it was handed to you by someone else.

It was that time of term again. The time where Tanya was able to gain a whole bunch of money. With the upkeep of her pokemon being more expensive than she was expecting, she was always glad when these times came around. Finding time in her day, Tanya rushed to the Financial Aid Center, hoping to get access to that sweet money.
It seemed to be pretty busy, since more students were lining up to get the money as well. While it wasn't too busy, Tanya couldn't help but feel that she had been there at times when there were more students. It might just be her looking into the situation too much, but she wondered if less kids were around due to the Marvo City attack. Frankly, she wouldn't be too surprised if that was the case.
Her mood having soured a little due to that thought, Tanya reached the counter and asked for some money, hoping to find a way to make good use of the money she was going to get.

Falling into the usual routine, Tanya prepared herself to get her bi-weekly allowance. It was a nice thing for the academy to have and she was glad that she came to an academy that had an incentive like this. A part of her wondered where the money came from. Maybe it came from all the students as part of the tuition. When she thought about it, she wondered if more attacks from Team Origin would make it even worse for the academy. What if they lost things like this due to the decline in applicants? Shaking her head from the thought, she noticed that she was at the front of the line. Moving towards the counter, she asked to receive her allowance for the next two weeks.

Money did really make the world go round. Maybe that was why Team Origin were doing the things they did. That was something that got her to think. Why did Team Origin want to do the things that they are doing? Could it be possible that there was some higher purpose for committing these actions? After seeing Amanda act the way she did, it made her wonder how "right" the academy was.
She didn't want to say anything to anyone though. Especially since that could get her really shifty looks. It was almost like the entire school saw them as "Team Asshole" as Ms. Eisenberg so eloquently put it. Was it wrong of her to question these things? She sighed to herself. Life couldn't be that easy, huh?

Trying to nurse the black eye on her face, Tanya frowned as she went to the Financial Aid Center. The encounter with Amanda was still engraved in her mind. She probably was in the wrong somehow, but that didn't mean that Amanda was justified with her actions. Far from it. Right now, she wasn't in the mood for forgiving her friend's lover for her transgressions.
Instead, she was up for getting money. Money was always a nice thing to have. Though she did get weird looks from others, Tanya found herself ignoring them pretty easily. Having practiced putting out this confident persona, she rarely buckled under pressure. Pretending like nothing strange happened, Tanya asked for her allowance, taking things in her stride.
