Annie had never had such complete control of so much money before as she had been told was to be expected here, but she knew her way around a budget reasonably well. She had a tidy one drawn up for her time at the academy, which had a certain margin of wiggle room to account for unexpected costs or--as she had found at the opening ceremony--windfalls. So far, so good: she had not had credits swiped by a passing Pidgey or been obliged to pay for accidental damage to another student's items, so everything was on schedule except for that delightful bonus.
Visiting the financial aid center was a simple matter. She approached the counter, gave her name and business, and acknowledged the receipt of funds with a perfunctory nod. Mission complete, with no trouble at all.

It really wasn't difficult for Annie to work such a thing as this into her routine; she just stopped by in between obligations. With her egg from Breeding class held in her arms (it was starting to look like it might someday have plans to hatch after all), she approached the financial aid desk. "Annie Prince, here to collect my allowance," she said, entirely businesslike.
It was funny, how most things worked on a weekly basis, but this was every two weeks. Not that it caused that much of a problem. After all, who would want to miss out on free money?

Annie's moods had become somewhat fragile lately, but there was still nothing but business to this particular errand. Exactly the same every time: she walked up to the desk and requested her money.
It occurred to her that she needed to start spending all this money on something useful. Her Pokémon were getting to be very much in need of all kinds of things, and it would probably be best if Annie also bought, say, a fishing rod or an excavation kit...
Plans. Such busy, busy plans. With her busy plans buzzing in her mind, Annie stepped up to the front of the line and gave her name.

Sometimes, being as shy as she was could create problems.
Annie had been hiding lately. Not on purpose, exactly; she had just been getting uncomfortable around people, and so she had hidden herself away in a corner of her bedroom, reading books and writing letters to her friend back home and playing with her Pokémon, emerging only when there was something which absolutely had to be done, and the next thing she knew two weeks had passed.
But now, she realized, it was time to collect her allowance. That was probably important. So she made her way to the financial aid center and politely gave her name.

It was time for Annie to get more money. She needed more funds, if she was going to outfit her Pokémon more fully for winning battles and the other goals towards which she was working. She had been so busy, since emerging from her brief state of near-catatonia, that she had not realized that another pay period had rolled around.
Well, there was no time like the present. She presented herself at the financial aid center as usual, gave her name, and picked up her allowance again. Hopefully, nothing would go wrong. Nothing ever had, but there was always that chance...
