Into The Arena! [Battle vs. Kyrie Vyler]

Like a hawk in the sky, the hawk without eyes; the zubat swirled in the air before once again diving down toward his opponent. He even brought his wings in to gain more speed as he dived. He looked like a mini bomb being dropped from the sky, falling till the last minute to spread his wings and aim at the normal-type. His body was already worn down, yet somehow out of luck he managed to keep from fainting so far. An amazement to zubats everywhere but one more of those strong attacks and there was no doubt that Belphegor would be out. A hard won war some might say.
Kyrie caught the other girl's eye for a second before her sight went back up to the zubat. Somehow she could feel she was not liked, must've been the shit-in in her that told her so. She always did like to think that she had some sixth sense for that, although the girl would admit it wasn't the most comfortable of feelings. Already she was hugging herself to give herself some comfort as her bat trolled opponents and trainer alike. It was all that thing's fault anyway, as awesome as he was at the moment.
Action: Fly, BP 90, STAB bonus to equal 135, BA of 45.

The Zubat did his stupid divebombing attack again, and Carrie couldn't predict it either, and instead braced for impact as the bat managed to strike straight into her body. Carrie flopped back a little bit but stood up, definitely battered. Seria growled a little as emotions were running wild in her. She didn't want to lose again. Especially not losing like this. Seria definitely looked serious this time. Even the Sawsbuck sitting behind her looked pleasantly surprised, while Severa leaped off Seria's shoulder and landed gracefully to the ground, retreating next to the Sawsbuck. "That does it! Carrie, can you still stand? If you can, try and nail that thing with one more Slam! It should do the trick!"
Seria pointed a finger at the Zubat as Carrie nodded, shook itself and steeled itself again before charging forth and attempting to slam into it strongly once again.

The Nature girl's pokemon weren't the only ones who were surprised by the girl's sudden amount of rage. Kyrie visibly flinched, taking a step back like as if the girl was going to march on over to her and punch her in the face. Her or her zubat that was, it did not helped that the stupid little thing started his insane little whisper-chuckles again. Too many buttons pushed after his successful hit and it came back to bite him in the butt. More like smash his face into the ground since that's what the slam did. Exhausted from taking on two pokemon the zubat fell to the ground, twitching slightly but otherwise not moving. Kyrie let out a breath of air, pinching at the space between her eyes to try and hide her half relief, half saddened expression. She didn't know what she'd have to do if her bat managed to throw the other trainer into a frenzy.
Quickly the girl recalled Belphegor, giving the ball a pat for a job well done. Now the real question was, who to choose next. The opponent's pokemon, whom she still hadn't figured what it was; had taken both the Air Cutter and the Fly. That meant it was weakened. How much, she didn't know. However she did know who to choose next. Taking the next ball from her pocket, Kyrie summoned out the normal-type's next opponent. Leviathan, her shuppet.
The ghost popped out silently enough, swaying from side to side in front of the other pokemon. Leviathan, Sucker Punch." The pokemon didn't seem to move for a moment before drifting forward ever-so-slowly.
Action: Sucker Punch, BP 80, BA of 75. Due to 100% accuracy there is no need to roll.

Called it! She has a Ghost type after all! Seria thought to herself as she grit her teeth and clenched her fist. However, she saw the paper cloth Pokemon she released - a Shuppet - phase in and out of existence as it swished and suddenly smacked Carrie with a shadowy-punch. It was very strong, more than Carrie could handle at this point, as she was sent stumbling back and fell back right in front of Severa and Antenora. Antenora looked worried and turned her head to face Seria, who had a downcast expression on her face. She was clearly getting discouraged. Seria silently returned Carrie to her Pokeball after kneeling next to her three Pokemon. Soon, Seria turned to face Severa and pet her. "Your turn, Severa..." The kitty Pokemon gracefully leapt from her spot next to Antenora and faced the Shuppet menacingly.
Seria turned to face her opponent. "Severa, Thunder Wave." she said plainly and straight to the point. She seemed visibly downtrodden. Her mood had basically been shot. The cat nodded and started rubbing her paws together furiously, the force creating an intense static which the cat then leaped towards the ghost Pokemon, shocking it.
Thunder Wave 100% accuracy. Leviathan is now Paralyzed!

Unlike Belphegor, Leviathan didn't dance a victory dance or begin chuckling like a mad-poke. No, the puppet pokemon merely hovered on back to where he was summoned, still swaying back and forth. His unblinking eyes watched as the next opponent took the field, this time it was the purrloin who had already been out. The way the cat held itself reminded both trainer and puppet of Mammon, who was still sitting ever peacefully by the girl's foot. Alas the psychic type wasn't remotely interested in the battle, completely satisfied with being right by his trainer. So unlike the rest of her pokemon who either tried to tease her, eat her, or fear her - Mammon was still her salvation in her curse of males.
Back to the battle. The cat pokemon had taken the field, somehow gathering up enough electricity to paralyze Leviathan. His swaying slowed, his thin fringes twitched with the freaky feeling of muscles (that ghosts apparently had) froze up. "Leviathan, Curse." The pokemon twitched a bit, glowing red. Hopefully he would be able to go through with the move if his body allowed him to.
Action: Curse, no power and accuracy therefore no need to roll for accuracy.

Seria calmed down a little, though she seemed to be taking deep breaths to keep herself in the calmed state. The Shuppet was successfully paralyzed by Severa's wiles, and now all that was left was to apply the coup de grace. The ghost tried desperately to move for an attack glowing red, but unfortunately for him, he was unable to move with the paralysis affecting him. Seria commended Severa. "Good work, Severa. Now, apply your Swagger!" Seria called out to the cat once more, as the Purrloin nodded and began to enrage the Shuppet with a mocking swagger, strutting as if intentionally trying to anger the paralyzed Pokemon in his crippled state.
Seria soon noticed the Psychic-type Pokemon nestled by the trainer's feet, a calm Espeon that seemed quite disinterested in the battle, instead opting to relax, just like how Antenora was patiently observing from behind Seria.

Leviathan's version of angry was a mad scowl at the cat who mocked him. Crippled and confused, the status ailments were lining up one after another and Kyrie's newbiness in that whole section was clear to see. She hadn't the slightest idea of why her pokemon did curse the cat nor why he had begun to swirl around agitatedly. He made no sounds only flittered about like his cloth had been singed. Again Kyrie ordered for another Curse, hoping this time he'd actually listen to her, oblivious to the fact that it wasn't actually his fault.
Mammon noticed the other trainer's gaze on him. He straightened himself instinctively, refusing to show any sort of slouchiness or anything that would have diminished him. His tail swayed from side to side at a similar pace to Leviathan's own swaying when he wasn't confused and paralyzed.
Action: Curse, no power or accuracy therefore no need to roll for accuracy.

Seria crossed her fingers as she attempted to see how effective her maneuver was. While the Shuppet was able to be stopped by the paralysis the first time, no such luck this time. He attempted to glow red fiercely, trying to break through his confusion and anger. Alas, he succeeded as the evil curse began, the Shuppet seemingly did something to itself, but Severa soon became heavily disturbed by an evil aura. She had been cursed by the Shuppet, and began to shudder involuntarily. Seria kneeled to look at her and discovered that Severa looked brutally serious, thus taking her gaze away from the Espeon. It looked as if Severa was attempting to fight the Curse. "Be careful, you'll be hurt by that curse! It's alright, you can nail the Shuppet with Foul Play!" Seria commanded as Severa took the opportunity to get some sweet revenge.
The Purrloin leaped at the cloth-like ghost, suddenly tugging on it ferociously and trying to annoy it to oblivion and make it hurt itself as the kitty repeatedly harrassed it with kitten claws, despite the kitten clearly getting drained as she struggled through the ghost's curse.
Foul Play (95 BP + 37.5 BP bonus [STAB]), 100% accuracy - damage based off of Shuppet's 75 Base Attack, +2 Stage Attack Boost from Swagger. Also, Dark beats Ghost!

Leviathan didn't even have a chance to strike back with a counter, with being both confused and paralyzed. Next thing to top it off was that the cat began to rip at his body with her evil little kitty claws. Unable to handle the super effective move, the puppet gave into it's dizziness and spiraled down onto the ground. If anyone knew how hitting oneself felt like, it was Leviathan after that. His own strength used against him, his pathetic defense unable to stop it. It was a saddening sight to be sure.
Kyrie reached for his ball, returning the fainted pokemon back to his ball. She did pat his ball once for good effort. He didn't manage to take out the purrloin but he did finish off the one before it and even cursed the cat. After four turns the sly looking thing should faint from the pain, three now thanks to that last turn. Then thanks to being the last pokemon, the other girl couldn't return it. Now it was all or nothing, the last versus. The Mana girl took in a deep breath, reaching for the next ball and sending out her ever favorite - ice cream.
Belias, her vanillite; didn't have the fondest of memories from his first battle and thus coward in the presence of his opponent. Little tears already brimmed in his eyes as Kyrie said her first command, "You attack first. Hail." A simple command, a comforting beginning really. Happy that he wasn't called out to get punched in the face again, Belias began to hop about - magically summoning a storm of hail from the sky.
Action: Shuppet fainted, called out vanillite. Hail, area move that has no power or accuracy.

Seria heaved a sigh of relief as the battle grew closer. Now, she felt less bad about potentially losing, as the battle now came down to the wire. She looked much less serious now, despite the fact that Severa was on a ticking time bomb with the damage from the curse settling in again. On top of that, the girl sent out what appeared to be an ice cream Pokemon. From the brief time Seria was in Unova, she recalled seeing some of these Pokemon. It must have been a Vanillite. It looked very scared at first, already on the verge of tears. However, when the girl commanded her ice cream Pokemon to call down hail in the room, the Vanillite seemed relieved and very much excited as it began to call down some hail. Hey, watch it! Seria thought as she looked up at started seeing hail drop from the sky out of nowhere.
Severa flinched as she felt the fierce ice prick her fur. On top of that, the deadly curse from the ghost further drained her energy. "It's okay, Severa. We'll do our best. Alright, Severa, use your Toxic!" Seria called out as Severa hissed and pretended to hack out a hairball. Except all it did was casually walk up to the ice cream, and start drooling its inner bile saliva all over it. That must be quite traumatic for the poor ice cream. "Oh geez, I'm sorry for that Vanillite..."

In truth, Belias was rather happy not to have another fist in his face. He wasn't so happy to be drooled on, quite literally. In fact, the poor ice pokemon entire white form went even paler than it had originally been, even turning blue as the pokemon nearly fainted from the near disgust of it all. Unfortunately he felt horribly ill, taking solace in the tiny bits of ice that fell from above; but ill nonetheless. The tears that had faded were now pouring down the poor creature's face, little hiccups escaped him as he tried desperately not to completely go into baby bawl mode. Even Kyrie couldn't watch, covering both her eyes with a soundless 'oh no', trying to prevent her own stomach from getting queasy.
It worked mostly, for Kyrie at least. "Hang in there Belias... Smack that nasty cat in the face with a Mirror Shot."Her ice pokemon was only too happy to oblige, attempting to roll as far away as possible before turning around and shining up for Mirror Shot.

The poison of the Toxic did a good number on the Vanillite, both physically and mentally it seemed, as Seria bit her nails and was now feeling pretty guilty for what Severa was subjecting the poor ice cream to. Nonetheless, the Curse damage ticked in once again and Severa was feeling even weaker than before. It looked like he would fall from the next attack. Unfortunately, the ice cream was able to steel itself and shoot some sort of shining mirror attack at the cat, which caused Severa to recoil a good deal back, and the hail continued to rain, pelting the cat some more. Eventually, it seemed that between all the residual damage from the Curse, Severa could no longer stand. She almost yawned before slumping over, unconscious. "Whoops!" Seria ran over to Severa to check up on her, she seemed mostly unconscious and exhausted, but not exactly that hurt. She returned Severa to her Pokeball and retreated to Antenora.
She called out towards her opponent. "Well, stranger, looks like you win. Good job. Sorry about your Vanillite. It looks like he's quite timid." Seria simply said, sounding nothing like how serious she was in the middle of the fight.
Severa knocked out! Congrats, you win!

All the extra damage that had been piling up against the feline had finally taken its toll. The creature managed to look like it was falling asleep as it fell over into unconsciousness. Was her time on the field that boring? Well, either way it was definitely more traumatizing for her poor ice cream who was literally balling his eyes out from the poison effect and the fact he just got barfed on. Kyrie dared not to touch him, instead returning him back to his back and cooing to the round device. It was the least she could do and moving the poisoned thing around just seemed like a barf wish.
Kyrie nodded to the other trainer, "Thanks, I think he'll be fine with some sweets. Good game." With that, she tapped on her shoulder where her espeon proceeded to hop up on and balance like the bird-cat he was. Truthfully, Kyrie was surprised that the other girl hadn't come after her all fist and fire with how she was during the match. That had been another reason why she didn't go to cuddle on her ice cream, fear of getting socked in the head for winning. Thankfully the girl was kind soul, competitive; but kind. With that, Kyrie took a shallow bow before heading off toward the exit, eager to heal her pokemon before she'd have more crying to deal with in the middle of the night.
