Now they said that experience or at the very least some natural raw skill would be needed here. Well, Kyrie had just the solution to that problem. First, she had Mammon who would watch the water for her and then Leviathan who would both watch the line and take on the pokemon that came up. She wanted to give her bunch of children a bit more experience in battling and that meant not just attacking other human trained pokemon. Though Leviathan was formerly a wild pokemon she wanted to see how well he would do against another wild after the short wild he had been captured.
Rod in hand, Kyrie looked around the lakeside, picking a comfy little spout of short grass just in front of a sea of flowers. A lake in front and a flower field in back, usually that would make people feel at peace. She would have been too, at peace; if it wasn't so sunny out. Not a cloud in the sky there wasn't. At the water kept the air cool rather than horribly humid. The Mana girl didn't think she'd last very long against the environment if that were the case. Still, better to get started quickly to finish even faster. With that in mind she lined her bait then tossed, watching the bob and listening for Mammon's cry as he placed himself right at the edge.

It felt like forever since Kyrie had taken her place there, though her two pokemon didn't seem the long wait. It must've been there instincts or something with how intently Mammon stared at the bob or the water, she couldn't really tell at this point; and Leviathan kept his eye on the line. The time let her mind wander, letting her think about a multitude of things like: how much longer was she going to be out there, when was it going to rain, why didn't the store sell pokemon so she didn't have to do this, and most importantly; what was for desert tonight. She was caught in mid-thought, her imagination filled with little cakes; when the line suddenly pulled down, nearly taking the rod from her hands. Mammon had jumped which meant that it caught him off-guard too so she couldn't blame him for not warning her. Though she couldn't really complain at that moment, seeing as how she was pulling on the rod, trying to wrestle the thing back.
She had never fished before, once she read a blog about it but she had never actually done it herself. Trying to take old knowledge and put it into play, the girl would pull then wait, then pull some more. Like this was a game of tug-of-war. It would've been a really fun game if the prize didn't look so... she didn't even know the word for it. The ugliest fish she had ever seen came popping out of the water and as planned, Leviathan engaged it. Of course the poor, floppy thing was going to wiggle around instead of counter the shuppet's Shadow Sneak. Smashing the fish, until it went even further onto land. Now even if she didn't want to catch the ugly thing, Kyrie would have out of pure obligation. Seeing her shuppet just have through the fishy's flailing and strike with another Shadow Sneak, it was pretty pathetic. Hurrying before her pokemon turned the poor thing into smashed sushi, Kyrie quickly grabbed a ball from her pocket - tossing it at the sushi, er- fish.

Baked fish. Sushi. Fillet.
Don't eat it.
You captured the Feebas! Deduct your ball count by one.
