Sunny Side of Life on the Beach [Mod]

Seria waddled out into the beach, recalling her conversation with Tanya. Looking for a strong Psychic pokemon... Seria knew some bulky Pokemo she liked who would fit the bill. They were all here, on the beach. She was on the beach though, so she decided to have some fun by coming along in her pink swimsuit. However, it was covered by a pink jacket. It looked odd together, but Seria honestly didn't care. She was just here to look for Pokemon. She held out her Pokeball and called out for Aquaelie, who by now had evolved into Marill. The little bouncy bugger popped out and seemed happy with his new, evolved form, he now had some power to back up his punch. Regardless, they weren't here to fight necessarily, rather they were here to look for Pokemon.

And Seria knew exactly what she was looking for.

Seria blinked as eventually, a wild squid Pokemon splashed out of the water. The Marill was startled for a moment, but he quickly composed himself. The girl just blinked as she whipped out the PokeDex. Of course, it was a Kalosian Pokemon, which explained why she didn't know what it was. She was an Inkay, it seemed. A Psychic type, to be sure! Unfortunately, Seria wasn't looking for an Inkay (or wanting a Malamar, for that matter) and so she simply stood there and told Aquaelie to stand his ground. The Inkay kept splashing about and playing about in the water until such time that she got really bored and started swimming away. Seria couldn't tell if she was submerging or not, but it did look somewhat cute. The Marill wanted to play in the water too at this point, so he went ahead and started splashing about. Seria just watched.

Seria sighed as the Inkay swam away, and she fidgeted. Aquaelie was still bumbling around on the shore waters, and eventually the Marill stopped when he saw a strange rock with two claws with faces on them waving about. Seria blinked and used her PokeDex to identify the strange aquatic creature - a Binacle, it seemed. He was just there, standing about peacefully. Seria already had a good deal of Pokemon who could do damage, so she really wasn't exactly excited about the prospect of wanting to catch this Pokemon. So she would just calmly ignore it, moving to another part of the beach after beckoning for Aquaelie to follow. As Seria walked away from the Binacle, she hoped she would find what she was looking for next time. The Marill followed close by, but still stayed closer to the water than he did her trainer.

Seria sighed as she continued walking along with Aquaelie, but soon her eyes glimmered a little as she saw a wandering Pokemon approach... but it wasn't what she was looking for. Somewhat disappointed, she then realized it was a Totodile. Those things were reasonably rare, so Seria decided she would catch it and then see if she could do anything with him. "Alright, Aquaelie, show that Totodile who's boss! Initiate an attack with Rough Play!" Seria called out as soon the Marill ambushed the lil' gator with horseplay, kicking up lots of water and sand all over the place. Fortunately, not very much got on Seria as she stepped way back. However, this angered the gator, which countered by chomping on the Marill.

Well, it did chomp on Aquaelie, but all he did was raspberry back in turn, not feeling too much from it. "OK, Aquaelie, see if you can calm him down with another one of those attacks! Play Rough!" Immediately the Marill began to do it again, roughing up the gator some more, though he seemed sturdy, and responded by biting him in the gullet again. But eventually, as Seria saw what was happening, it seemed clearer to her that Aquaelie and the Totodile were no longer actually 'fighting,' but actually having their own brawl as the Marill continuously used his rough-handling pulling and tugging on the Totodile while the latter began to flail about and bite him back.

"Err... Aquaelie... Use your Play Rough one last time..." Seria said, a little unimpressed with what was going on, but it would have to do. The Marill nodded and grinned, tackling the Totodile into the water and beginning to rough-horse around some more, and at some point the Totodile couldn't resist and ended up making some sort of strange laughing noise, but it was eventually getting too tired out to do anything as the Marill managed to outlast him in some water-wrestling. The Marill stepped away from the Totodile and soon Seria brought out a Pokeball, throwing it at the Totodile and hoping to capture it.

Seria's eye twitched as the Totodile broke free. "You know, the things I have to do..." Seria wondered if she had been a bit too merciful on the damn thing. Seria scratched her head and called out towards her Marill. "Hey, stop splashing about. That thing is still out and about! Use your Superpower on him!" The Marill grabbed the gator, who, after breaking out, had stood upright again. Once Marill managed to latch onto the Totodile with his stubby arms, he heaved and heaved before leaping into the air, carrying the target Pokemon, before piledriving him into the sand. Well, that's got to hurt. The Totodile was pretty sturdy though, and the Marill had lowered his own physical abilities by exerting that much effort into the attack.

The gator seemed to notice this and began furiously flailing at Aquaelie, slapping him with tail and hands and jaws, causing the Marill to get knocked into the water. Seria gasped and as the Marill got up, he was a little dizzy. But once he regained his composure, he looked pretty mad and frustrated. "Er... Aquaelie, try and Play Rough finally! We'll give this anotehr shot!" Seria called out as Aquaelie huffed and puffed and ran to the Totodile again, wrestling with him and kicking up more water and sand, smacking and punching was definitely heard as it seemed the Marill wanted to try and turn the Totodile into a punching bag. Of course, the gator wasn't going to take that lying down. But once the dust cleared and settled, the Marill was standing up and the Totodile was lying down again.

Seria noticed she only had two balls left. She sighed, and threw one at the Totodile again.
