Standing on one side of the arena, Tanya cracked her fingers. She was here for a purpose and she was here for a fight. Her eyes were intense, blazing with determination as she faced her opponent on the other side of the field. Cameron. She wasn't going to lose this and she wasn't going to go easy on him. She was going to go out full force and she was going to beat the snot out of him. "I hope you're ready for this." Tanya called out, stretching on the other side of the arena in anticipation for the fight. She could feel her blood pumping and her heartbeat was pounding in her head. The stakes for this battle were high and she knew it. She wasn't going to lose. "I'll let you pick your pokemon first." Tanya declared, crossing her arms as she waited for her opponent to pick his poison. {Tanya's Pokemon} Dani the DragalgeGender: Female Ability: Poison Point Held Item: N/A Normal Moveset: Sludge Bomb, Water Pulse, Double Team, Toxic, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail Extra Moveset: Scald, ----, ----, ---- Daniel the LopunnyGender: Male Ability: Klutz Held Item: Ring Target Normal Moveset: Dizzy Punch, Jump Kick, Charm, Entrainment, Return, Magic Coat Extra Moveset: Switcheroo, ----, ----, ---- Christian the PonytaGender: Male Ability: Run Away Held Item: N/A Normal Moveset: Flame Charge, Flare Blitz, Fire Spin, Fire Blast Extra Moveset: Wild Charge, ----, ----, ----

Cameron looked around the entire stadium. “Wow, this place is nice, makes it feel like we’re having an important battle.” He commented. He looked at his opponent, Tanya. A girl he managed to annoy in the matter of a few hours, staring daggers into his soul. “Hey, don’t be so uptight, just a friendly battle, yeah?” To him that’s all this was. After all the stakes were just apologies. Something that Cameron could easily do, but it was fun getting her riled up, he’ll admit. “Oh yeah, it’s serious. Super serious!” he forgot what he did at the beach to annoy her but he remembered something with sand.
“As ready as I’ll ever be.” He shrugged at her comment. “This is gonna be a fun one.” He added, giving his usual smile. “Hope you have fun too.” He could feel his blood pumping like when he would enter the ring for a boxing match. He was so used to bumping gloves with his opponent , that the battlefield between the two of them felt a little awkward. He took a deep breath, calming what little nerves he had.
He gets the first toss. Okay, good. He thinks that’s good at least. “Then I’ll go with Bastard!” he shouted. Throwing his pokeball into the air, releasing his first pokemon, a Honedge. The ghost unsheathed itself in preparation for battle. “Alright Bastard, we gotta give it our all! No holding back!” he cheered, taking off his jacket and ripping off the shirt underneat to reveal his bare chest. "Let's show her the power of muscle!" he added, and with a smile he told, “Alright Tsunny, your turn.”

Bastard was an odd name for a pokemon. She didn't go into too much thought about it as she saw the pokemon that Cameron had first sent out. Having her pokedex at the ready, she checked the typing of the Honedge. Steel and Ghost. This could be a lot of fun.
Was this guy serious though? He just ripped off his shirt. Was he just showing off to the people watching? She facepalmed in annoyance as she got out
"Here we go. Come on out, Daniel!" Tanya shouted, throwing Daniel's pokeball into the air. Daniel appeared high in the air and flipped down onto the floor. Once he landed, he looked towards his opponent and glared angrily.
"Trick your opponents with a Switcheroo!" Tanya ordered, Daniel nodding his head in response to her command. Daniel quickly began jumping all around the arena, dancing around the battlefield as she jumped around and over the Honedge. As she repeatedly jumped over the pokemon, he slipped off a necklace that had a Ring Target on it and put it on the enemy, jumping back to his position once he had done the action.
Tanya smirked to herself, eager to see how the battle was going to turn out.

Cameron watched in some confusion when the Lopunny switched its Ring Target onto Bastard so quickly. "Huh, I wonder what that was for?" He remarked. Their wasn't any major harm done and that's all he really cared for. Lopunny were normal type Pokemon, that much he knew. Sure he'd be surprised by some its moves but what's life without a few surprises? Instead of worrying, he decided to forge onward with his usual brute force style. With a flex and a grunt he ordered, "Sacred Sword!" The Honedge bounding off towards its opponent with wild swings. In effort to do as much damage as possible.

When Daniel landed, he braced himself for the attack, using his ears to try and defend. The attack did hurt though and he found himself being knocked back by the attack. He was still able to get up though, and a look of determination and anger was etched onto his face.
"Now Daniel! Attack the pokemon with a Jump Kick!" Tanya commanded, smirking as she waited to see what Cameron's reaction was. He probably would laugh at first, thinking that the attack would be ineffective due to his typing. However, that was where the Ring Target came in.
Bending his legs, Daniel prepared himself to strike the sword pokemon hard. Quickly extending his legs, he launched at the Honedge and threw his feet in front of him, aiming to inflict as much damage as he could in a single strike

He folded his arms at his opponent's command. "So that's what the Ring Target was for." he thought putting two and two together as the Lopunny Jump Kick landed squarely on Bastard, knocking the Honedge of its balance. The spectral sword tried it's best to shake off the damage though Cameron knew full well it wasn't going to be able to take another hit like that. No, he'd just have to bet that the next attack was going to be enough to call the round. "Sacred Sword!" he commanded once more, the Honedge following its trainer's command and hacking away at the air in pursuit of the opposing Lopunny.

Tanya smirked as she saw Cameron realizing what was going on. The unorthodox strategy went off without a hitch, herself being a little proud she came up with the idea. Ever since she heard about Buneary and their ability, she wanted to find a way to properly execute it. However, just because she was able to do it didn't mean that the battle was over.
A brute force approach seemed to be adopted, the Honedge wildly swinging at Daniel to the point where he collapsed on the floor. For a few moments, it seemed like he was down for good. However, Daniel managed to push himself up, just at the brink of defeat. She knew that this next move was going to have to count.
"Daniel! Try it again with Jump Kick!" Tanya yelled, a bit of desperation in her voice. While she tried to maintain her composure, she felt it slipping away with each moment that occurred in battle.
Though he staggered around a little, Daniel crouched and prepared to launch once again. Putting all of his energy into one last attack, Daniel flung himself at the target, flipping in the air so that his feet would be the first thing that hit the pokemon.

And with that last successful attack it was all she wrote for the possessed blade. The Honedge took the attack square on its face, the jump kick knocking a few paces away. He whistled at the attack and clapped. "Nicely done, nicely done." he commented. "You clearly know what you're doing. Though can't say I'm done yet." he returned the fainted Honedge to it's ball, holding it for a moment before pocketing it once more. "Alright, time to ring the second bell! Round Two is just beginning Bicy, your turn!" he shouted, tossing the ball into the air releasing the timber wielding Timburr.
The Timburr lifted the log of wood and hoisted it over its shoulder. It's vein-like bulges stretching and contracting in reply. "Okay! Hammer Arm, Bicy! Knock em' out!" he shouted with vigor, the human-like pokemon tossing the wood into the air and clenching its fist. It pounced towards its opponent in attempt to bring down the full force of its weight against the weakened Lopunny. Sure he was losing but he couldn't help but be excited about it. He hardly ever lost in a boxing match, but this was different, it was. . . a breath of fresh air. To know that everyone else was just as good, if not better than Tanya and would no doubt provide as much of a challenge. "C'mon, keep it up Tsunny!" K6mkz7cg1-10 1-9 hit, 10 misses

Tanya smirked in happiness when she managed to knock out the Honedge. She listened to Cameron talk, her blood pumping as the battle started to heat up. She was getting really excited, feeling her heart beat in her ears as the challenge escalated.
Tanya braced herself for the following attack, knowing that it was going to knock Daniel out. Daniel had done his job though, and she was happy that the Lopunny once again brought things back into her favor. Indeed, as the arm was brought down on the pokemon, he was knocked to the floor and remained there.
"You're not too bad yourself." Tanya called out, returning Daniel to his pokeball. "Round Two may have started, but I will never go down without a fight. I'll show you the bonds I have made with my pokemon. As long as I have them with me, I'll never back down! Let's go, Christian!" She yelled, throwing her pokeball high into the air.
Christian the Ponyta appeared from the ball and trotted to a position in front of his trainer. Letting out a loud neigh, he prepared himself to face his next opponent.
"Scorch the battlefield with a Fire Blast!" Tanya called out, feeling nervous tension bubble up inside her but not letting Cameron see it. Raring back his head, Christian threw it forward while shooting out flames. Forming a 大-shape, it flew towards the opponent, hoping to incinerate him in a sea of flames.

“Awesome job Bicy!” he complimented when he watched the Lopunny go down. He was still having a hard time understanding why she would put a Ring Target on her Lopunny but her strategy worked so he best not try to argue it. He looked over at the Timburr as it hoisted it’s wood back onto her shoulder. Hopefully the next fight will go just as easily for her.
Cameron listened to Tanya’s talk of bonds, it was a little funny to him. It was always something you’d expect to hear in a TV show, at least he thought it was. It reminded him of the whole “Bonds of friends is the true power.” Now what the heck did that mean. Trying not to dwell on the problem for too long he put his focus back on the battle at hand. It seemed Tanya had brought out a fire type this time. A majestic steed to ride into battle with, or was that it’s evolution? Either way he was gonna have his Timburr beat the stuffing out of it. He watched as the Ponyta reared its head back and launched a symbolic flame at Bicy.
There was no clear way for her to avoid it so instaead he ordered her to defend. “Alright Bicy, Bulk Up! You gotta muscle through it!” he shouted. The Timburr glowed a magenta aura as its muscles became more pronounced. Though it did nothing to curve the pain of the attack, it did raise her attack and defense. When the flames subsided she was still standing, powered up, and ready for her next order as well as her opponent's next move.

Tanya bit her lip as she watched the battle progress. Things seemed to be going well for her. At least, she hoped they were. She was relieved to know that the Fire Blast hit, knowing that the move had the tendency to miss at really awful times.
Unfortunately for her, instead of going for an attack, the Timburr decided to go for a Bulk Up. While it wouldn't do much against Christian's Fire Blasts, it did go against the strategy of finishing it off with Flare Blitz. With the added defense, there was a possibility that he would survive. While there was a risk of Fire Blast missing, there was an even greater risk of Flare Blitz hitting and then the Timburr still being alive.
"Christian! Burn the land with Fire Blast once again!" Tanya commanded loudly. Once again, Christian started to rear his head back, gathering flames in his mouth. Throwing his head forwards, he shot out a symbolic flame that flew towards the Timburr. The special nature of the attack meant that Bulk Up wouldn't do a thing to guard against it. She could feel her heart beating inside, racing at the battle in front of her.

She was going to go for Fire Blast again, perfect; at least he hoped it would go perfectly. He knew of Fire Blast having a somewhat shotty accuracy. Granted relying on that accuracy was his biggest mistake. The Fire Blast once again hit its mark head on. Bicy, couldn’t brave the flames once more and when the smoke subsided, she was laying on the ground knocked out. “Two to one.” He muttered. The loss was getting to his confidence somewhat, but he still held his smile. He pulled out the Timburr’s pokeball and gave her a ssilent praise like he did before. He could still win this, after all there was such a thing as a grand reversal, and he just had to put his faith into his star player. “Alright Trapez, here we go!”
“Here we go buddy, Nasty Plot!” he shouted, the Monferno began diving its battle strategy, the flame on its tail glowing brighter with the knowledge of his battle strategy. “C’mon Tsunny. I’m not done yet and I know you aren’t either.” He encouraged. He always had the most fun when something was on the line. Sure he would like to win, but you don’t get what you want because you like it, and he knows that for sure.

Perfect! The attack hit once again! Knowing that the Timburr wouldn't be able to hold off the flames for long, Tanya wasn't surprised and she put on a very smug, self-satisfied look as she looked over towards Cameron. How could he still be smiling? She begrudgingly admitted that he seemed to be good at keeping his cool on the battlefield.
When she saw the final pokemon he sent out, Tanya felt confident that she had this victory in the bag. After all, not only did Christian resist Fire, but Dani resisted both Fire and Fighting type moves. As long as he didn't pull out any fantastical tricks, which knowing his nature seemed very unlikely, Tanya felt confident that she could win.
On the usage of Nasty Plot, Tanya became increasingly nervous. Was it possible that he was planning something? With Cameron egging her on as well, Tanya felt like she was getting into the swing of battle.
"You bet your ass that I'm nowhere near done! Run in with a Wild Charge!" Tanya shouted, winking at Cameron in a playful manner. Pawing his front hooves consecutively into the ground, Christian started generating electricity which coated his body. Once suitably charged, he started to run into the Monferno, smashing it with all of his energy. He probably would take some recoil damage, but Tanya knew he was all about inflicting as much damage as quickly as possible.

Cameron was at a loss, it truly seemed that this was his battle to lose. Though, he wasn’t exactly sad over it, nor was he going to regret it, instead, he and Trapez would try to put up as much of a fight as possible. His original strategy was to try his hand at overpowering the other fire type with an even more powerful Flamethrower, forgetting that the pokemon was of the same typing and would therefore resist the attack. It seems Tanya knew this, as he thought she might have the Ponyta use Fire Blast once more. Though instead the horse pokemon was surrounded by electricity and charged into Trapez. Luckily he didn’t take as much damage as the other two party members, likely due to him having more time in battle than they did. “Alright Trapez, Close Combat!” he announced. The Monferno went into a frenzy attempting to attack the Ponyta with a series of punches and kicks. “Don’t let up buddy!” he encouraged.

Tanya became increasingly confused with the moves that Cameron was pulling in the battle. He used Nasty Plot to really boost his special attack, but then he went for a physical move? He did realize what he was doing, right? Tanya couldn't help giggling to herself a little.
Christian was assaulted by a barrage of fists, Christian sliding backwards due to the sheer power behind each of the attacks that the Monferno launched at him. By the end of it, Christian was barely standing. Covered in injuries and breathing heavily, he still somehow managed to hold himself up. She had to admit, the pokemon looked pretty awesome.
"While his defenses are low, give him a send off with another Wild Charge!" Tanya shouted, triumphantly slashing her arm across the air. There was no point in trying to keep Christian alive. If he was going to fall, he was going to do it spectacularly. After all, survivability wasn't what she was going for.
Christian began pawing the ground again, building up electricity that jumped all around his body. He let out a loud cry and rushed towards his opponent, smashing into him with all of his might. Using the last of his energy in the attack, he lost the ability to stand and crumpled to the floor, losing consciousness.
