Nobody ever came by this classroom.
Maybe the school used to have more students than it did now. Maybe the Headmaster had just planned ahead for the day it would. Or maybe he even planned to open up more classes eventually. Whatever the case, this classroom, as well as a few more like it, were completely empty. Which made it a perfect place to practice. All of the desks were pushed to the wall and stacked up, giving Astrid plenty of room. She'd set up her speaker system to one side, where it was plugged into what seemed like the only outlet in the room. Currently, it was playing a sample electronic tune sent by a member of Astrid's old sound crew who'd helped her with Machine Boy and Lunatic. It was sparse, but that was the point. They could fill in proper instrumentals once Astrid figured out what she wanted.
Meanwhile, Astrid was singing some of the new lyrics she'd written in the last few days. They told the story of a pair of lovers, separated by death. The man was dragged to hell, and the woman chased him all the way to the edge of the afterlife. At the climax of the song they met again, and the man tried to convince the woman not to give up her chance at life for him and, eventually, Paradise.
Finally, Astrid finished on a lighter, more tentative line, leaving the final fate of the woman open-ended. The background music faded as well, and Astrid walked over to turn it off. "Hm...I'm not sure about that last part," she thought out loud once the room was once again in silence. "It'll probably be better received than both of them falling into hell together, but I don't like it as much. Hmm..." Times like these, she wanted to ask for a second opinion. But she'd left her laptop back at her dorm and there wasn't anybody near enough to bother looking for. After all, nobody ever came by this classroom.

Aurora traveled down the quiet hallways, mostly minding her own business for he own sakes. She had previously left the cafeteria to to bring a little snack and figured that she would explore some of the old classrooms. She remember that as a student she would often come down to the empty hallways to practice some of her dance moves and even train some of her Pokemon for upcoming contests. Despite, the classrooms not being built for training purposes. She could continue to travel down the hallways until an interesting sound of someone singing started to echo through her ears. The voice itself was lovely. However, the lyrics were a little dark, sad, and full of imagery. At least, that was Aurora's take on the song the lyrics, yet she was still captivated by the amazing voice and dramatic lyrics.
After listening to the song play in her ears for a few more seconds, the young blonde lady finally decided that she would attempt to find out where the source of music was currently coming from at the time. Luckily, it didn't take her too long to discover that the music was coming from one of the empty classrooms toward the end of the hallway. She would then slowly make her way over toward the classroom, sticking her head through the door at first to scoop out the classroom. There, she notice a female student inside practicing her musical talents. A soft smile curved against her soft lips, as she decided actually step inside of the classroom. Instead of making her presence known right away, she would wait for Astrid to walk over to turn off the music before greeting with her with a warm smile. "Hey there. You're quite talented, ya'know. Your voice is beautiful, and those lyrics were quite impressive as well." She spoke, carefully walking further into the room. "I personally think that either one of those endings could work with the song. But if the woman really loves him, then I could understand why she would simply be happy by falling into hell together. She pointed out shrugging a bit. "Oh yeah, how rude of me. I'm Aurora." She greeted, giving Astrid a friendly bow.

Oh.
Someone was there after all.
From the looks of her, either an older student or a Warden had stumbled on Astrid's practice session. She was very pretty too, and even had the patience to wait until Astrid was done before saying anything. Fortunately, Astrid was accustomed enough to surprise interruptions that she wasn't too caught off-guard by the unannounced visit. "Oh, hey," Astrid said, turning to face the older girl directly. She smiled brightly. "Thanks for the compliments. I've worked very hard to get where I am," she said. Dubious truth of that aside, she was certainly working hard now. Then, the woman gave an opinion of what she'd been pondering. "Yeah, that's how I see it. It's hard to predict how an audience will react to these things, though. The open-ended version seems more hopeful, even with the sadness of parting forever. Falling into hell just seems so bleak. Even if they are together, is it really worth it? I like that conundrum more, but I'm not sure a typical audience would agree." She put a finger to her lips for a second, then rushed over to a piece of sheet music she had sitting out on the one uncovered desk. Right at the end, she scribbled the words "'worth' hell?".
She turned back to Aurora. "Anyway, nice to meet you, Aurora. I'm Astrid!"

Aurora smiled back and nodded her head. "No problem. You deserve the compliments, and I can tell. Hard work truly does pay off in the long run." She stated, allowing her pretty smile to widen a bit more. She would simply nod her head as she listen to the young student express her ideas. "I'm sure that whatever decision you decide to go with will work out wonderfully." She stated, moving a little closer toward Astrid. "It's a please to meet you, Miss. Astrid." She replied back, holding her dainty hand out for a handshake. "I remember coming into the room to practice some of my dance moves and practice performs here for future Pokemon Contests." She revealed, reminiscing about the countless hours that she had spent in this very room. "Anyway, how have you been enjoying Gray Garden Academy, so far?" She would ask, taking a seat on the edge of a desk.

Astrid nodded back. She shook Aurora's hand, surprisingly firmly for how delicate her own hands looked. She smiled as Aurora mentioned dance moves and contests. "Ooh, an aspiring contest star?" Astrid asked, giggling. She pushed her sheet music together into a single stack and set it to the edge of the desk, clearing enough space for her to take a seat as well.
"I'm liking it so far," she answered. "They really went all out with this place. I'm surprised, it's like a mini-region. Actually, even more diverse of one than some of the places I've been." Not quite Unova, but very few places were. "The other students I've met are pretty nice too, the teachers I've had so far seem pretty good, I haven't been accosted by any crazy fans yet, and I've already got a bunch of cool Pokemon!"
