First Time Always Hurts[Battle vs. Seria]

Aki walked info the Battle Dome, this time all three Pokémon were secure in there respected balls. He didn't want totake a chance of Drago leaping into battle. He just knew it would happen after what happened in the Commons. Aki was readh for his first battle at the Academy. Be noticed others battling and he stopped to watch one. He was iimpressedwwith the technique of the trainers. Moving to one of the battle fields he stood at one side. Aki kept his Pokeballs in his pocket he wondered if his team was ready for a battle. He knew Drago was but what about the others. Akihito stood there awaiting an opponent. "Here goes nothing."

Seria waded into the arena again, kicking the dust on the ground as she looked around and sighed. Then, looking ahead, she saw a vaguely familiar face. Looks like it was Aki, that Lava Dorm guy who had an Axew. Seria waved at him as she approached. She looked a bit more serious and wasn't very much like the Seria that Aki saw at the athletic fields. "Hello, Aki. Looks like I'll be your opponent for today. Then, I guess I'll send out my Pokemon. Come on out, Aquaelie!" Seria called out as she took out a Pokeball and sent out her Marill, who bounced up in place and looked raring to go. Seria soon stood patiently and waited for Aki to call out his first Pokemon.

Waiting a bit longer he saw the girl from the track. She was cute but that wasn't going to stop Aki from doing his best to winhis first battle. "Hello again Seria, it does appear so. You have the pleasure of being my first trainer battle." Aki said after Seria called out her Marill. He could call Drago he is resistant to water but Razor does have better defence. But the resistance won out. Aki reached into his pocket and grabbed Dragos ball. "Drago, let do this!" The ball flew theough the air and the tiny Dragon Pokémon stood there just as deterined as his trainer. "If you dont mind. Drago, let's start with a nice Dragon Claw." Drago called out and leaped toward the Marill.

Seria nodded calmly as the Axew was released into the arena. He seemed rather excited, and determined to win the battle over his rival. Which was Seria's Marill, of course. Aki then commanded the Axew to use Dragon Claw. Seria simply stood still and blinked as the dragon Pokemon leapt towards the Marill, but the ball of blue stuff simply watched as the attack did literally no damage. "Hmm? Oh, that's right. Fairy-type Pokemon are immune to Dragon type attacks. I guess that's a thing," Seria blinked as the Marill started petting his white belly confidently. "Alright, sorry about that, pal. But I'm not gonna hold back. Marill, use your Play Rough on the Axew!"

Aquaelie bounced towards the little Axew and soon began to try and engage in horseplay with the dragon, tugging at him and roughly handling him, pushing and shoving and basically playing about roughly, as the name of the attack would suggest.

Just as he called out the attack Aki remembered tthat Marill was part Fairy. This is not good he thought as he saw Drago bounce off the blue mouse. Drago stood there confused as to why his attack didn't do anything. Before he knew Seria called out a move for her PPokémon. Aquaelie started to pester and then play rough with Drago. Dust started ttopick up and when the dust settled the blue fuzzy water mouse stood. Drago been knocked out in one hit. "Uh, well OK. Great try Drago. Alright let's try this. Let's shine Razor" Aki switched balls and threw the one containinghis Honedge. Kt appeared and unsheathed itself. "Razor, let's hit it was an Iron Head" The Honedge swiftly moved towardthe Marill.

Seria blinked as the Axew was immediately KO'd by the Marill. Soon, Aki recalled his fallen Pokemon and then sent out a Honedge. Sadly Marill was not very effective at all against the Honedge, and ate an Iron Head to the face. Well more accurately, the Honedge swiftly rushed to the Marill and swiped itself forward, hitting him and making him bounce back momentarily. Though, to be sure, the attack hurt, the Marill was still getting up after that attack. Seria pondered her next move. She then blinked and realized that if she did this she was gonna be a bit cruel to the opponent. Nodding, she decided to use someone else.

"Ok, Aquaelie, come back," Seria nodded as she recalled the Marill. She took another Pokeball and sent out... "Now, it's your turn, Carrie!" Carrie, her Minccino. The grey chinchilla bounced out and awaited the Honedge's next attack.

Switched out Marill for Minccino

After Razor hit the Marill she wanted for the Marill to make an attack of its own. But Seria recalled the aqua mouse and threw out another furry rodent. This time it was a Minccino, Aki had to admit the gray chinchilla was just as cute as Seria. "You know she is just as cute as her trainer." Aki said planning his next attack. He couldn't attack with a Cost move and he didn't want to waist a turn. "Razor, let's give it an Iron Head." The blade basically threw itself at the Minccino. He wasn't sure on two accounts, how Seria was going to take the remark and how much the attack was going to do on Carrie.

The Mincinno braced for impact as the sword-shaped Pokemon swooped forward and threw itself at her, slicing and stinging the chinchilla Pokemon somewhat as Carrie was knocked back a tiny bit. She winced and propped herself back up, shaking her tail and awaiting an order. Seria heard Aki's side-comment, but didn't say anything in response to it. She scratched her head and then nodded. "Ok, Carrie, use Knock Off on it!" Seria called out as the Minccino began to dash at the sword, slapping her tail back against the ground repeatedly before leaping up to it and then slapping the Honedge down with her tail, leaving a trail of darkness in its wake.

"Oh this isn't going to end pretty" The Minccino lept toward Razor and used Knock Off. The Honedge slew back slightly and was stunned for a bbit. She shook it off and prepared for a command from Aki. It wasn't as bad as he thought, lluckily it is a physical attack and Razor has great physical defence. But one or two more would defiantly put her down. Aki had a choice use Swords Dance and risk Razor getting KOed or go for anotherattack. Akihito thought for a moment more then spoke."Let try to finish it off. Iron Head! The bladed Pokémon threw herself at Carrie giving it all she had.

Seria winced as the the Minccino was slammed again by the blade Pokemon's attack, and because it was a fiercely powered attack, it seemed to be enough to finish her off. Carrie was knocked back a fair distance, she tried to raise her tail up and try to stand, but she lacked the energy to, and instead she resigned to defeat and fell. Seria nodded to nobody in particular and calmly recalled her. "Alright, you leave me no choice! Go, Antenora!" Seria yelled out with her conviction, throwing out her Pokeball and releasing her Sawsbuck, she stood proudly in place and looked down on the floating sword.

"And now, Antenora, use Swords Dance!" Seria commanded as the great deer began to trot in place, building up inner heat and tried to get her blood pumping and increase her offensive prowess.

Aki stood waiting to see the final outcome of the exchange. When eeverything was said and done Razor 'stood' tall. He was a little weak from the Knock-Off the Minccino landed. Seeing Seria recall Carrie, Aki wondered if she was going ttobbring her Marill back out or go with her third. Few seconds later Seria answered his pondering. Out of the thrown pokeball came a Sawsbuck. Aki almost immediately went to recall Razor but he wasn't going to deny her the chance to take down another one of Serias Pokémon. She soon called out Swords Dance, that made Akihito take notice that she has a powerful aattack He ccouldn't use Shadow Sneak since Sawsbuck is immune to Ghost types. Aki called out to his Honedge. "Hit it with an Iron Head while its distracted!" The sword Pokémon once more hurled himself toward his opponent.

Base Attack 80, Move Attack 80@100%

Seria grinned as Aki called for his Honedge to strike Antenora with Iron Head, but of course, Sawsbuck was a tough gal, she wouldn't really get knocked out by that attack easily. The Sawsbuck stumbled and was knocked back a little bit, but she trotted forward and looked confident. "Okay, nice one, Antenora. Now, strike back with Horn Leech!" Seria pointed at the Honedge as the deer Pokemon began to charge almost recklessly at the sword, preparing her antlers to try and sink them into the metal blade in an attempt to suck out his energy. As he got closer, the antlers struck and soon the Antenora began to leech energy out from the Honedge. With the boost from Swords Dance, it would do a lot of extra damage, and on top of that, the Sawsbuck would regain the damage it took from that Iron Head as life.

Horn Leech, 100% accuracy. 75 Base Power off 100 Base Attack, +2 ATK Stages (100% boost). Also, Antenora gains half the damage dealt as life

Aki cursed under his breath as the Sawsbuck attacked. He didn't expect it to do as much damage as it did. After the hit ffromthe Minccino and now the Sawsbuck, Razor was hanging on by a sliver. Taking oit his ball, he returned the sword Pokémon. Taking out his third choice, "Let's go Clementine." The Darumaka bounded out of his pokeball. The red and yellow spotted bird stood their ready to go. Being as Razor wasn't knocked out he wasn't allowed to attack. So this round she had to endure the hit. Aki was getting a bad feeling that he was not going to prevail as tthe victor.

Switched Honedge for Darumaka

Predictably, the Honedge was still alive. But that didn't matter to Seria anymore - another hit would finally put him to rest. Aki then attempted to switch out his Honedge for a Darumaka. Which would be a smart idea normally, except now this Darumaka's probably going to get knocked out without being able to do anything. "Sorry, friend! I can't throw this one out. Antenora, use Double-Edge on the Darumaka!" Seria called out as the Sawsbuck whinged and started recklessly charging head on the small Darumaka, throwing her body weight into the charge and smashing into him. As Seria saw the deer collide into the small Fire-type Pokemon, Seria couldn't help but wince and look away from the incoming impact. It looked incredibly painful. Seria doubted the Darumaka would survive that.

Bracing for impact from the deer the Darumaka didn't stand a chance against that kind of power. The impact sent Clementine hurling into Akihitos arms. Looking down seeing that it was unable to finish the fight. Recalling the Darumaka, tthe outcome of the battle was already decided. He knew that if Razor some how knocked the Sawsbuck out she still has the Marill that was pretty much full health. Taking out the pokeball for Razor. "Let's have onelast go Razor! One last Iron Head full power! Aki shouted as the weakened blade threw itself at the antlered Pokémon.
