Le plus grande spectacle du monde! (Vs Tanya)

Amanda studied the contents of her purse as she stepped into the empty Battle Dome, smoothly flipping the light switch to illuminate the area. Blinking at the brief flash of light: she mused on how she had already managed to find herself facing against another trainer.
As she brushed against a certain Pokeball though, she shuddered. The battle was needed, she had originally assumed that the odd wild Pokemon would have sufficed as training. Yet, that same assumption had nearly gotten her Makuhita killed.
So, she needed to become stronger; and she needed her Pokemon to become stronger as well. To that end, a challenge issued to a fellow Wave Dormer had found her here. Ruefully: she stepped to one end of the Dome, awaiting her opponents arrival.

She didn't expect to receive a challenge from Amanda. She always seemed the type to be above it all, trying not to fight even though the entire point of coming here was to learn how to be a better trainer. Still, she never backed down from a challenge. A lot of pokemon on her team needed training. She had recently been catching pokemon to add to her team and now was the time to put all of her effort into fruition. She wasn't sure what pokemon Amanda would use, but she hoped that she wasn't going to be completely demolished. "Hey, good luck on the battlefield." Tanya called out, taking out one of her pokeballs. She gave Amanda a quick smile as she chose the first pokemon to battle. "The time to start is now. Don't back down and don't give up! Let's go Christopher!" Tanya recited loudly, spinning as she let go of her pokeball. Christopher appeared on the floor, crossing his arms and standing defiantly in the middle of the arena. He snorted when he realized he was about to battle. Hopefully he could be provided with a decent challenge. {Tanya's Pokemon} Christopher the ServineGender: Male Ability: Overgrow Held Item: N/A Normal Moveset: Wrap, Leech Seed, Leer, Giga Drain Extra Moveset: Synthesis, Aromatherapy, Sunny Day, ---- Daniella the MunnaGender: Female Ability: Synchronize Held Item: N/A Normal Moveset: Yawn, Moonlight, Nightmare, Psychic Extra Moveset: Dazzling Gleam, ----, ----, ---- Christina the PichuGender: Female Ability: Static Held Item: N/A Normal Moveset: Sweet Kiss, Thunder Shock, Nasty Plot, Thunder Wave Extra Moveset: Volt Tackle, ----, ----, ----

Amanda nodded and waved to her opponent as Tanya entered the dome, carefully withdrawing and releasing the Pokemon she would battle with. Present Pokemon:
Muddy: Protect - Hydro Pump - Mud Slap - Takedown - Ability: Torrent
Shabboneau: Stockpile - Rollout - Body-Slame - Swallow - Earthquake - Ability: Pickup
Fisto: Heavy Slam - Reversal - Endure - Wake-Up Slap - Ability: Thick FatShe gestured to her Makuhita to take the field, the other two Pokemon receiving signals to step back. As her team moved into their signaled positions, Amanda bowed towards Tanya. ''May we have a good battle.'' She spoke: clearly and dignified; as befitting the Battle Chateau traditions. Drawing her Pokedex: a few taps brought up the battle information. VS The blonde girl pointed at the Servine: ''Fisto, use Heavy Slam!''Fisto used Heavy Slam. Accuracy: 100%, Damage: 86kg vs 16kg = >1/5th weight = 120 Base Power.

The girl had a shiny? Those were supposed to be super rare! How in the world did she get that! She marveled at the pokemon, nearly forgetting that they were in a battle. It wasn't until Amanda ordered her attack did she remember why she was even here.
Christopher flew in the air, his light weight not helping in protecting against the damage dealt by Heavy Slam. She was thankful that Christopher had decent defenses, allowing him to push himself up after the attack. He looked like he took quite a hit though.
"Christopher, take what's yours and use Giga Drain!" Tanya commanded. She wanted to use Leech Seed, but judging from how the battle was going, that didn't seem to be an option. She was glad she did give Christopher Giga Drain, as now he had multiple ways to stay in the fight.
Once Christopher stood up, he once again crossed his arms as he began to glow green. After a few seconds, glowing green tendrils shot out and flew towards the Makuhita. Once they reached the Makuhita, they started to suck the energy out of the fighting type pokemon.
Action: Christopher uses Giga Drain. Accuracy: 100% Base Damage = 75 + 37.5 = 112.5. 60 Special Attack.

The Makuhita gritted his teeth, feeling the energy being sapped from him as the Servine healed back up. Amanda was no happier, aware of the state of the battle as her Pokedex alerted her to the damage. Not only had the Giga Drain harmed the Makuhita far more than she would have wanted it to: the sapping effect healed back quite a bit of the damage that Servine had sustained. Unfortunately for her, that was the cost of fighting with an untrained team: evolved Pokemon and Pokemon with taught moves were simply innately more powerful. Furrowing her brow, Amanda formulated a plan: ''Fisto, use Heavy Slam again. Servine won't be able to sustain if you keep the pressure!''
VS Fisto used Heavy Slam. Accuracy: 100%, Damage: 86kg vs 16kg = >1/5th weight = 120 Base Power.

The more energy Christopher drained, the more resolutely he stood. He was able to heal off quite a lot of damage that he sustained from the Makuhita's attack and he lifted his nose towards it, as if saying that the fighting pokemon was beneath him.
Once again though, the Makuhita rushed towards him and smashed into him. Rolling backwards, Christopher was able to push himself back up, the Giga Drain helping keep his stamina up as he glowered over his opponent.
"Just do the same thing again! Giga Drain!" Tanya commanded, Christopher once again crossing his arms as he gave a condescending look towards Makuhita. He started to glow green and the tendrils once again appeared, ensnaring his opponent. If this was all that the opponent could fight with, Christopher looked less than impressed. He looked somewhat bored as he continued to drain energy from the Makuhita.
Action: Christopher uses Giga Drain. Accuracy: 100% Base Damage = 75 + 37.5 = 112.5. 60 Special Attack.

A groan escaped the Makuhita's lips, the Fighting-Type struggling to stand as most of his energy was drained away. Unfortunately, the attack had reduced Fisto to his last sliver of health. Amanda sighed, realizing she had one possible method to win, but it wasn't the strategy she had idealized. Regardless, it was the only possible solution. A pained smile formed on her face as she nodded encouragingly towards the Shiny. ''A fine Pokemon you have there!'' she remarked towards Tanya. ''Growing more powerful as his opponents grow weaker, it's a fine strategy. Except for one problem...''Amanda folded her Pokedex shut, folding her arms in dramatic fashion. ''Fisto is a true knight, and will defend his lady and friends to the very end. The marks on his side are proof of that. You need to understand, the more bleak the outcome... the more powerful HE becomes!''The Makuhita grinned. ''Fisto, USE REVERSAL!'' Amanda commanded! VS
Fisto used Reversal. Accuracy: 100%, Damage: HP<4% = 200 Base Power + .5 Typing = 200 + 100 = 300 Physical Damage.

Tanya stayed silent, smirking slightly as the battle seemed to be going her way for now. The strategy she had seemed to be working, with Servine managing to stay in good shape in comparison to her opponent. However, it seemed like Amanda had a plan up her sleeve.
Sure enough, and much to her chargin, the Makuhita knew Reversal. Oh this was really going to suck. An attack that worked off how little hp the pokemon had remaining. A fine strategy to adopt. Indeed, as the Makuhita crashed into Christopher, she knew the fate of her pokemon.
Sure enough, once Christopher fell to the floor, he didn't get up. Looking dissapointed for a moment, Tanya returned Christopher to his ball. Moving her hand towards one her other pokeballs though, Tanya gave a determined smirk to Amanda.
"I see your connection to your pokemon is impressive, but don't think I'm down for the count. I'll show you just how powerful we can be when we put our minds to it." Tanya retorted confidently, throwing her pokeball high up into the air. "Show them what we mean Christina! Attack with Psychic!"
The appearance of the pink pokemon floating in the air was serene as she slowly floated down to the battlefield. As she floated down though, her body started to shine in a brilliant light blue, using her psychic energies to pick up the Makuhita and throw him around.
Action: Returned Knocked Out Christopher and sent out Daniella the Munna. Used Psychic. Accuracy = 100%, Base Damage = 90 + 45 = 135. 67 Special Attack.

Amanda smirked. ''Thank you for the compliment.'' As the Munna was release, she frowned. Fisto was hardly powerful enough to keep on fighting, and the type weakness to Munna could prove his downfall. Indeed, as the Psychic energy tossed the Shiny to the wall, it was enough to take him down. The girl walked over to the Makuhita and smiled appreciatively, recalling him into his ball. ''You've done well Fisto: take a well deserved rest!''With a determined expression her face, she moved back to her part of the battlefield, turning to Muddy. ''Munna is powerful at a range, but so are you. Take the field Muddy!''With an eager yelp: the Mudkip jumped into the fray: glaring at the Munna. Amanda chuckled at her Pokemon's eagerness. It was like ever since Fisto joined her team, her other Pokemon became far more eager to prove themselves. ''Hit him hard, Muddy, use Hydro Pump!'' VS Muddy used Hydro Pump. Accuracy: 80%, Damage: 110 + 55 Type Match = 165 Special Damage. Accuracy Roll: W79USSC11-10 Miss on 1-2.1-10

Tanya smirked when the Shiny Makuhita fell. She was going to have to ask Amanda where she got a pokemon like that after the battle. It really was so cool that she got it. In any case though, she was still going to win this battle or at least do the best she could.
Sending in a Mudkip, she instructed it to attack with a Hydro Pump. Christina was sprayed by a heavy deluge of water, causing her to tumble around in the air. However, she still seemed to stay strong as she floated on back towards the battle.
"Christina! Bring them to the brink of sleep with Yawn!" Tanya ordered, hoping that the battle plan she came up with was going to work. She already got rid of most of her old moveset, wanting to have a specific battle plan that she hoped would work.
Christina floated in the air causally, as if it wasn't even in a pokemon battle. She then opened her mouth and let out a loud yawn. As she did so, a giant pink bubble formed out of her mouth and slowly floated towards the Mudkip, eventually popping in his face and causing him to feel drowzy.
Action: Christina used Yawn. Perfect Accuracy. No Damage.

Amanda looked upon the battle worriedly as her Mudkip began to sway sleepily. A quick glance at her Pokedex confirmed her suspicious: Yawn would have him sleeping soon. Any damage that he would do, he needed to do it fast. Unless, perhaps he should do the opposite? Grinning, actually unexpectedly enjoying the thrill of battle: Amanda swiped a few times on her Pokedex. ''Muddy, can you hear me?''The Mudkip made a sleepy noise. ''You don't have much time, use Mud-Slap!''Nodding, the Mudkip lurched forward, pausing for a moment before he hurled a ball of mud at the Munna, the dirt coating it's face. VS Muddy used Mud-Slap. Accuracy: 100%, Damage: 20. Target Accuracy is now lowered by one stage. If the Munna couldn't see, it couldn't fight.

Tanya felt confident as the match continued on. She needed to keep this up. The battle was slowly shifting in her favor. All she needed to do was keep up her game plan and not get caught up in the emotions of the pokemon battle.
Looking over to her opponent, she was glad to see that she was getting into the mood of battle as well. When the opponent was getting into it, Tanya couldn't help but get into it as well. She was so going put all of her effort into this.
"Nice strategy." Tanya complemented in a playful tone, her eyes glinting as her plan was soon revealed. "Shame I'm gonna have to undo all that damage you just inflicted. Christina! Use Moonlight!"
On the instruction, Christina started to glow, an image of the moon appearing in the sky as it bathed the Munna with its beams. She began to sparkle as all of the injuries she sustained in the fight started to disappear. She totally had this.
Action: Christina used Moonlight. No Accuracy Rolls necessary.

Amanda giggled, keeping an eye on her drowsy Mudkip. ''That damage n'est pas what I am after!'' After all, that Munna could heal most injures was a problem. But even if she could heal up, it was all for naught should she be unable to land any attacks in turn. ''Mudkip, another Mud Slap!'' The Mudkip nodded, tossing yet another ball of mud at the Munna, the dirt coating the previous layer. obscuring the vision of the Pokemon even further still. VSMuddy used Mud-Slap. Accuracy: 100%, Damage: 20. Target Accuracy is now lowered by one stage. Enemy Munna accuracy is now down two stages = 40% Reduction
The Mudkip was on it's last legs though, and the Pokemon fell down, asleep. Roll for Sleep: XJZpaCGq1-3 turns until wakeup.1-3

As the battle raged on, Tanya was getting increasingly pumped. This was turning out to be really interesting and she was glad that she had the chance to really practice with her new pokemon. Her strategy seemed to be working like a charm as Daniella stayed strong on the field.
"I see your strategy." Tanya called out in response, crossing her arms and smirking confidently. With the accuracy drops her pokemon was facing, she knew that every move she made with Christina was playing with dice. She didn't wasn't going to let her play the game she wanted to play though.
"Unfortunately for you, I'm not so narrow when it comes to my battle strategies." She called out as she took out two pokeballs. She knew that Christina probably wasn't too fit for battle, but she was going to use her to her best abilities
"Return Daniella!" Tanya called out, returning Christina to her pokeball. "You must always be ready to shift your strategies. Let's go Christina!"
The pokeball flew high into the air as Tanya spun, revealing the tiny Pichu, who landed on the floor cutely. Jumping with excitement, she looked so happy just to be on the battlefield. Tanya couldn't help but let out an "aww"ing sound when she saw Daniella enter the battlefield.
Action: Returned Daniella the Munna and sent out Christina the Pichu.

Amanda smiled, watching earnestly as as the enemy Pokemon was swapped out. ''So that's her game, is it?'' she mused, pondering what she could possibly do. Pitting a sleeping Mudkip against an electric type wasn't the smartest thing she could possibly do, but then, why would she want to do that? With a flourish: Amanda whipped out her Pokeball and recalled Muddy, gesturing to the final Pokemon on her side of the field. ''If you wish to change, then so shall I! A battle of the infant-Pokemon, no?''Slowly, calmly: Shabboneau took the field. Amanda switched Pokemon!A new challenger appears! VS ''What say you?'' she giggled: ''Who has the more powerful Pokemon?''
