Personality: In general, she is a rather polite and kind person. Upon meeting someone she doesn't know she will always display manners towards them, unless they're going out of the way to disrespect her. Her easy going side shows when she's most comfortable, which requires a bit of a conversation, otherwise she seems to be rather serious. Sometimes she may leave and aura, and come across a cold person who'd you'd rather not mess with; she's not. Her bluntness doesn't help though. She also has a tendency to be rather impatient when someone beats around the bush. If you want something from her she'd rather you just up and say it rather than wasting breath.

Stubborn as an ox, if she says she will get something done, she'll get it done. Of course, that's if she decides to help you to that extent. While she knows what she can or can't do, she still has a tendency to bite off far more than she can chew. Don't let her usual demeanor fool you; although she may be nice, once genuinely angered she could be as violent as a Tauros on a rampage. She has no qualms in giving someone a good punch to the face if she thinks someone deserves it, rules be damned. If she gets upset, she also becomes extremely irritable where everything bothers her until she can calm down, though she usually tries to avoid people when this happens.

Unless she's in situation where teamwork is required, she absolutely hates getting help. She'd help anyone with no issue, but once she's in trouble she'd rather find her own way out of it. This is mostly due to her upbringing. She keeps all her worries bottled up because she figures no one would give a damn anyway, and even if they did it's probably not something they could help with.

Despite how good at it she is, she's not that entirely fond of battling. She'll do it, sure, but if she finds no reason to she'll avoid it. She's not only like that with battling though, even verbal arguments she tends to shy away from or back down from, unless it's something she's extremely passionate about, in which case her stubbornness kicks in and unless you have an actual valid argument she won't give up.

History:

Alex was born in the Sinnoh region, in the rocky town known as Oreburgh City. She lived with both her parents, both of which were miners who were very interested in old fossils. Her family wasn't so tight knit; there were times where they straight up ignored her due to their work, but she dealt with it mostly because she didn't know any better. She also had never brought herself to resent them.

She went to basic school when she was younger, and with that she learned of many different types of Pokemon. However as she slowly realized how silly and ridiculous she was being, and stopped it all together. She started adapting shut-in tendencies, and getting more interested in reading and studying rather than dicking around and getting muddied almost daily. She learned that she really loved electronics during this time as well.

However, when she was 14, the situation had changed. Her parents got a call about a new dig in an entirely different region. Seeing as they had stopped their travels to take care of Alex for a while, they got excited after hearing the news. They had even went so far as to ask her whether or not she was willing to go on her own journey, considering they didn't want to take her with them, because that line of work wasn't easy and they had never actually prepared her for it. She wasn't much interested to going on a journey, nor was she interested in their line of work either. Despite learning about them, she really didn't have that much experience with Pokemon, and she rarely saw anything outside of the Machamp family or Geodude family. And so they decided to send her to a school in order to do what they wanted (they weren't the best of parents). "Hey, you don't have to go on a journey, but this place will give you first hand experiences with Pokemon so maybe you can make something of yourself there!" Was what they told her. She reluctantly said yes so that she wouldn't disappoint them, or hold them back.

So she made it to Gray Garden Academy. It was a rough start for her, seeing as she had no friends or any type of moral support. She was a bolt dorm student who started with an Elekid who, quite frankly, didn't like her that much, and a Joltik who grew attached to her. She would eventually find herself obtaining more Pokemon, finding out that she has an affinity for Electric Pokemon, and getting into the classes. With her previous knowledge, and the actual application of the studies into battle, she quickly found herself doing extremely well as a trainer. Her Elekid, who soon later evolved into an Electabuzz, started to respect her as well.  She did however, suffer from quite a few losses, and it'd break her heart every time she'd see her Pokemon hurt, though she knew it was impossible to simply stop.

Once she had graduated she thought back to what her parents had said. "Maybe you can make something of yourself there!" Sure, she could just go and actually start a journey now, or she could become a breeder (she'd taken the classes, at least), or maybe even something else entirely. But instead, she decided to move back to Oreburgh and find some sort of work there. And so she just...lived, until she got a call from Gray Garden asking her to become a Dorm Warden. She  was reluctant to take on the jobm knowing what it entailed, but she realized herself she actually didn't have anything better to do.
