However, beyond his scary exterior is a rowdy, fun-loving man who simply enjoys fishing and spending time with his daughter. His wife, Sonia's mother, was a much more uptight individual. In a stark contrast to her husband, Sonia's mother had a no-nonsense attitude and always focused on getting things done. Funnily enough, her cute, small-framed physique gave off the impression who was easy to get along with. Naturally, it was quite the opposite. The two made quite a pair in that regard. While Sonia's father was a nuclear engineer, her mother was a business official who handled various dealings. They had met by chance when Sonia's father had gone on one of his regular fishing trips. After the two of them married, they pooled together their savings from their rather high paying jobs and purchased a plot of land where they could open up a ranch and start a family. They felt that spending time as a family was more important than any high paying jobs they could get.
