Aki wondered into the berry orchard looking around. Drago sat on his shoulder also looking around at the different berries. It was the first time he had seen this many berry trees. He had seen berries, with his mother being a breeder there were berries all over the place. He would help mix the berries into the Pokémon food and he would also help his dad make desserts that had many of the berries they had. "What you think buddy? Should we pick some." Akihito and Drago moved from tree to tree picking berries and having a great time. After about an hour of picking berries Drago climbed on Akis shoulderand left the berry field.

He was back again in the Berry Orchard. Walking tthroughthe gate he picked uupthe basket that they provided for the sstudents. It was kinda of a long walk from Lava dorm to the orchard. Although the rewards were well worth the wait. Reaching in his pocket he pulled out Ophilias ball."Come on out" The Espurr bounded out of the pokeball and ran around in circles on all fours. She then looked up at Aki and ran up to him. "Wanna pick some berries with me?" She nodded and jumped up on Akihito shoulder. They walked around for several hours picking berries from nearly every tree and bush they came across. He smiled at how the Espurr had changed from the other day she was so scared and ffrightened she barely would move. Now she was happy and playing. This was the reason he wanted to he a trainer, to help PPokémon. Looking at his basket he thought it would be enough for another week or so. "Ophilia!, you ready to go! Akihito called out and the Espurr came bounding from behind a bush with a berry in its mouth. The trainer laughed as he picked up the gray and white Pokémon and left.

Aki entered the Berry Orchard this time with his newly caught Absol. They stopped and Aki stroked Absols fur on her head. She was gentle and will make an amazing friend. Looking down at his friend he smiled, the Absol looked job and nodded Let's get started." They went around gathering tthe berries from all over the place. He was making this a weekly event. He also had brought a different partner each time he has came. Absol used her horn to cut multiple berries down and catch them in the basket she held in her mouth. After about an hour or so Akihito turned to Absol and spoke. "Ready to hear back to the dorm?" Absol nodded and came up side her trainer. Stroking her fur again the duo left the orchard with their quota for the week.

Aki had a break from between the rounds in the tournament, so he thought he awould make his weekly visit to the berry orchard. He this time had his newest team memeber Theodore the Bulbasaur. He was a feisty little guy, as soon as he was free from his ball he ran head first into a tree and berries fell from it. Aki laughed as the Bulbasaur turned and did it again to another. "You gonna hurt yourself buddy." Akihito said walking over and knelling. Rubbing his Bulbasaurs head, the Pokemon made a joyful noise and closed his eyes. "Looks like this is the quickest trip I've made here thanks to you. Let's go back." Theodore nodded in agreement and walked along side Aki back to the dorms

It was a new week and it was time to pick some berries. Aki reached in and randomly chose a pokeball from his bag. Clicking the ball twice a red flashing light come out of the ball and and his Fletchling fluttered out. He hasn't been using Penelope much. She had been set aside from the tournament and he hasn't come across many Pokémon she would be effective against. She may have been useful against Annie and her Ice types if she was fully evolved to Talonflame. But he still loved his Fletchling. "Ready to pick some berries" Akihito asked the tiny bird. She tweeted a joyful tweet and flew off. Couple moments later she brought back two berries and flew off to get more. After an hour or so they got there fill and Penelope landed on his shoulder and they left for the Dorms.

New week, new batch of berries to collect. He had Penelope the Fletchling with him again. He had been trying to give each of his Pokémon equal time with him. Well the ones that were crowd friendly. Like Oscar the Druddigon and Abigale the Absol tended to make people uneasy. It could be that Oscar was a big Dragon and Abigale was known to be linked to myths and legends. Ones that Aki didn't believe to be true. The Fletchling went around collecting berries for Aki and placing them in his bag this time. It was not as many as they usually get but they had a good time collecting them.
