Name: Alvis Hartmann
Age: 24 years old
Date of Birth: December 25th
Birthplace: Saffron City
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Hates everything equally.
Face Claim: Heiwajima Shizuo - Durarara!
Appearance:
Distinguishing Features: Alvis has short, vibrant blonde hair that he prefers to keep in order. He is almost always wearing a pair of blue-tinted shades as well as a track suit as per his job. Again, he likes to keep his clothes tidy.
Height: 5 feet, 11 inches
Character Type: Physical Education Teacher
Personality: At first glance, Alvis appears to be a pretty chill guy. His hobbies are all quite relaxing and he can usually be seen wearing rather tidy, formal clothing. However, this is far from what the man is really like. His hobbies are relaxing out of necessity.
Alvis has an extremely bad temper that can be set off from the simplest of things. The trigger could be something insignificant or a complete misunderstanding, but once he gets mad, there's only one way to calm him down. You see, to go along with the young man's temper, Alvis possesses insane physical strength, partially due to his medical condition. And since he has that insane strength, he's more than willing to use it to calm himself down. If one were to enrage him, they can expect him to do everything within his physical power to take out his frustration on them. Thankfully, he'll do his best to not harm his students and instead take it out elsewhere.
That being said, the man still has manners and a good deal of ethics. Should he get angry in the workplace, the man knows to take business elsewhere, by force if need be. When he isn't angry he can be quite reliable and even somewhat enjoyable to talk to. He may make a friend here and there, but one shouldn't count on such a thing. And should they make a friend out of the man, they shouldn't expect to get off easy if they make him mad. Of course with a temper like his, there's no telling where his opinion of someone could go in the matter of an instant.
Even through his awful temper, the man has a good heart. He tries to do his best in guiding students along the right path when they need it and letting them take the wheel when they can. Even still, he keeps a watchful eye even after they have a firm grasp on it. Often, he can be seen giving special attention to the younger students in the form of candy and praise. Only when they deserve it, of course.
Likes: Tea, Peace and Quiet, Playing Chess, His Job, Reading, Cute Kids, Relaxing in General
Dislikes: Loud and persistent noises, Logic Puzzles, Brats, Getting his clothes dirty, Getting waken up when he doesn't want to be, Anyone that looks at him funny, Anyone that says something he doesn't like, Anyone that physically gets in his way, Anyone that acts like a snob, Anyone that is all talk, Anyone he simply doesn't like (Yes, for no reason.) Also doesn't care for most other things.
History: Alvis was born to the Hartmann family on one snowy Christmas Day. It was a rather nice Christmas present for the young couple who had been expecting their son for a long time. Alvis would end up being the first of two children, both male. His brother Fredrick would be born about four years later. When the two kids were growing up, they always seemed to keep their distance, never really having anything in common. One boy went off to do one thing while the other simply did whatever he wanted. There were no harsh feelings between the two of them, but nothing really made them click.
Around the age of six, it was discovered that Alvis wasn't exactly like other boys and girls. The boy possessed an inhuman degree of strength that couldn't be described as "lots of exercise" or "good eating." Being able to lift the dinner table with one hand at age six didn't qualify as such. With an emergency trip to the doctor's it was revealed that something in the boy's mitochondria was a bit "off." He was able to exert inhuman amounts of energy when trying to move anything. To put it simply, he had super-human strength. The boy took the news with a grain of salt while his parents saw it as a danger to himself and others around him. This led them to putting him somewhere that he'd be able to learn to control his strength. This place happened to be "wrestling." This was something that his brother Fredrick spent a good deal of time practicing in.
The two boys finally had something to bond over, and for a time, they did. They would discuss techniques that they had learned as well as practice together. Of course, this always ended up one-sided with the older, inhumanly stronger brother winning. Very quickly, Alvis learned to control his strength. He learned to only exert just what was needed rather than full force. Naturally, with his immense strength, he was able to build a name for himself in wrestling. Eventually, this caused him to go far beyond what his brother was capable of, leaving him behind in his build to power whether he wanted to or not. Alvis had grown to like his brother, considering him his only friend. People at school, knowing of his strength from his local wrestling fame, chose to avoid him. He was an outcast with only his brother left by his side. Yet, even that didn't go so well. His brother who wanted nothing more than to be a great wrestler began to resent Alvis. No matter how hard he tried, he could never reach his older brother. Thus, the younger sibling began to ignore and berate him. Alvis was left alone, devastated.
His only outlet left in life was wrestling now. Pretty soon, the boy got older and stronger, choosing to focus on his strength. Rather than using it as a creative outlet, he began to use it as a way to release his frustrations, his sadness, his anger, and his rage. Yet, the more the boy did these things, the more negative he became. His outlook on life as well as others began to diminish as his state devolved into an always angry individual. Rather than becoming a way to release his frustrations, wrestling became an addiction. Like all addictions, Alvis eventually would hit rock bottom. The question was whether he would have a revelation and fix his problems.
At the age of sixteen, Alvis dropped out of school to become a professional wrestler. This was where his career truly began. Years passed and the boy became a man. He went undefeated against many opponents. He was known for giving people serious injuries, sometimes unfixable. He gained an undefeated streak that surpassed many greats. However before his legacy could be solidified, he was banned from professional wrestling due to his poor conduct and disregard for safety. Left with nowhere to go, the man turned to the only other wrestling place that would take him. Pokemon wrestling.
Surprisingly, the man did quite well. He had kept his perfect record that he had from normal wrestling. Not only that, he managed to make a decent amount of money as a result. None of that mattered, of course. The man was still driven by blind rage. Eventually the man went into a championship fight. It was quite a big deal for everyone involved, especially considering there was a human going up against a Pokemon. It was a quick fight like all the others with only one change. Alvis had lost. The man was pinned with one arm as he scrambled to get up. Failing to, he ended up losing and found himself lost for the first time. Well, to be fair, the man was likely always lost. It was only until then that he realized it. What was he even trying to do? The man couldn't think of any reason to be mad anymore. Just like that, Alvis disappeared from the wrestling world.
the man laid low for a period of time until he was stopped by someone on the street; someone whom he hadn't talked to in years. His brother Fredrick had decided to make amends with him, realizing that fighting with him was silly. Knowing his brother was in a slump, Fredrick tried to pick his brother up as best he could, much to the older brother's lack of enthusiasm. Alvis would then attend regular anger management classes until he could handle himself. Well, at least better than before anyway.
However, his brother had one more gift to him. He had put a good word in for him with Gray Garden Academy. The man could have a new start as a teacher on the academy grounds teaching physical education and Pokemon protection. Who better to teach kids protection than someone who could go toe to toe with some of the more powerful Pokemon? Having lightened his attitude towards his brother after a long period of anger management, Alvis accepted the offer his brother gave him and was hired almost immediately. From there, the man began his new life as a regular PE teacher at a Pokemon school. Well, with a few quirks here and there.
