Money Makes The World Go Round

The Financial Aid Center looked like a place to actually collect some of that money. She brought along her Snivy who was just getting used to the school with ease. Claude looked around at his surroundings, deeming the place to be pretty interesting. While students were currently coming in to and fro, the noise level was loud due to them talking when they should be going to class. At least, there was a lady there to help get the money out of the bag if she existed. She never came from a rich family, just middle-class. However, it did not make a difference as she loved her family as it was and those parents were pretty proud. Once she reached the counter, she was sure that the money can help buy some things for her team. Certainly, a sum of money could even help save hungry children. "Hello. I'm here to pick up my allowance please."

While she had a little money to spend on strengthening her team, she had to gather more money to shop for some things to use. In her stay at the academy, she had met some trainers that had stayed together with their partners. She believed in that concept as friendship was important when making bonds with Pokemon. In the Commons, she had decided to take along her Totodile where he walked beside her while eyeing those delicious plants. "No, you may not eat those plants, Sobek. They're decorations for a reason." The little crocodile pouted, but nonetheless followed his trainer's orders. And at last, the Financial Aid Center had come into view. She walked up to the desk where she would do her daily ritual of gathering some money. "Hi. I would like to collect my allowance please."

Inside the Commons, it was time to get her bi-weekly allowance. And this time, she was accompanied by her Larvesta who was crawling along beside her and looking at all the other students. Flynn was certainly curious about what kind of Pokemon those students had in their possession. Alas, he had no time for playing right now as they were here to get their money. Arriving at the Financial Aid Center, some people in the line had looked at Flynn like he was an interesting Pokemon. The moth larvae simply loved the attention he was getting though he eyed some of the plants that he wished he would curl up beside for a rest. As the line cleared one by one and it was finally her turn, she walked up to the desk with the baby Larvesta in tow. "Hello ma'am. I'd like to collect my allowance please."

But, uh, this probably ain't enough t'cover them.

Once again, she had to go get some money for herself and for purchasing some more supplies for her Pokemon. And she actually knew her way around to the Financial Aid Center, but there was still the matter of using that money for purchasing more Academy Balls. She was accompanied by her newly-evolved Chandelure who followed her. Henry had stopped being so timid and actually opened up to the other ghosts on the team. She smiled and remembered how shy he was when he was a Litwick, but now it looked like he had grown out of it. It was like watching your own child grow up to be an adult and she was proud of him. The smaller Pokemon that she had felt like her children and she had the responsibility of taking care of them. And at last, they reached the Financial Aid Center where she was able to get in line with the other students getting their money. When it was her turn, she approached the counter where the lady worked at. ”Hello. I’d like to collect my allowance please. Thank you.”

With each new member caught for the team, it was time to take a trip to the Financial Aid Center again and she had opted to take Stephano along for its first outing. The Magneton blinked, but stayed close to her as it looked around the Commons. And upon reaching the location, there was the usual line with students trying to get their money for buying things. The wait wouldn’t take long and she did have a Magneton for company along the way and she had thought about those last three battles. Probably the only explanation why she had lost was because she probably attacked and took advantage of weaknesses in typing. Or maybe it was because her Pokemon had a desire to compete in contests instead, but they would have to try training themselves further. Wild Pokemon battles were much better since they were relatively easy to use as a punching bag and they could be caught if she needs them for her team. After that, it was her turn and she walked over to the counter with Stephano in tow. ”Hello. I would like to collect my allowance please and thank you.”

The headmaster himself made an announcement of games to be held in one of the restricted areas. She felt that her Pokemon were at least strong enough to take on those challenges and she would need to train her newer ones that she caught herself. Although, she was slightly downcast when the Spiritomb from that last battle had broken free of the ball and disappeared without being caught. Well at least, she did catch a rare psuedo Pokemon to make up for it, but it was still worth a Pokemon to catch. She walked into the Commons with Kronos the Metang in tow as the blue robot looked around for anything interesting to look at. Upon reaching the Financial Aid Center, the duo went up to the counter where the lady usually worked and she spoke. "Hi there. I'd like to collect my allowance for this week."

The Commons proved to be busy as usual and it was that time of the month to get her allowance again. The newly evolved Piloswine accompanied her as he admired the plants. And he tried to resist the urge to eat them since he probably was hungry by the time they arrived at the Financial Aid Center. When they arrived, the line was already there and so, she waited in line. The events that followed were much of a large task rather than a menial task and she had been busy for the last couple of days. The line seemed to be growing smaller as the Piloswine followed her to where the students were getting their allowances. It seemed to be a routine since every student had to get the money needed to buy new stuff. And at last, it was finally her turn and she went up to the counter. "I would like to collect my allowance please and thank you."
