Name: Richard Alphone Lambton Age: 16 Date of Birth: March 16th Birthplace: Castellia City, Unova.
Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Face Claim: Seto Kousuke - Kagerou Project. Appearance:
Height: 5' 9" Character Type: Student
Personality: Richard can either be seen as a saint, or a huge doormat. He has a terrible time telling people "no", even if what they're asking of him screws him over. Need him to carry your bags? Okay! Do you need him to take a fall for you? He'll be there. It's not like he expects anything in return, no, he's just glad he can be of help because he feels useful. He's been told countless times that his mentality is unhealthy, but he simply can't help himself.
Richard is polite, he's friendly, and a rather easy going guy. He always tries to keep a smile, even if forced, in order to seem like everything is OK with him, even if it isn't. He has a habit of apologizing for any little thing that goes wrong, even if it isn't a big deal. He also rarely complains about anything. Despite the loss of his Eidetic memory, Richard is still really smart, though he can be quite naive. While he can't really pick up on how to do things by just "studying", he learns really fast when it comes to doing things through work. That said, he has issues remembering names of people and places he doesn't frequently see. He can remember how they look, but, especially if their name is simple, he will completely forget it unless you're someone close to him. He tries to make ways for him to remember, like writing the names down in a notepad and drawing a little sketch of them next to it. He also has a tendency to refer to people as Ms. or Mr., unless they tell him not to. If he doesn't remember their name he just refers to them as Sir or Ma'am. This also extends to people who are older than him, except he always calls them Sir or Ma'am no matter what.
Richard is also really indecisive whenever it's for something pertaining to himself. He also seems to have trouble with expressing his feelings, as he thinks that his opinions don't really matter. He'll only really talk about himself if he's asked about it, though he'll be reluctant or, if pushed to far, will stay shut after apologizing. He has the worst poker face, and can't really lie to save his life. I mean he can lie, but they're usually easy to see through.
All that aside he can get angry just like any other person, however he just bottles it, puts up a fake smile, excuses himself, and finds some way to vent. Stack up enough anger in one sitting and he actually will blow up, though he'll just go back to apologizing profusely and feeling like an asshole. His only other issue is that, under extreme stress or pressure, his mind is prone to shutting down. He can't think, he can't focus, and it takes a loud sound, a good slap to the face, or simply some time for his brain to start functioning again. He considers himself weak because of it.

History: Richard was born to a wealthy couple who resided in Castellia City. They owned small businesses all across the region, so they were well off He was the first of 3 children; he had two younger brothers, Arthur and Edgar, who were 2 and 4 years younger than him. He was born with an eidetic memory, allowing him to remember things almost through a glance. Because of this, he was the apple of his parents eyes. He would be taken to parties and be shown off like some sort of genius. They raised him to be proper, respectful, and to do as he was told. They had a lot of expectations from him. So they, on top of him going to a normal school, would teach him things on the side, and he'd remember it. He'd gain praise, and he was happy about it, even with his actual school experience. Because of the attention their parents gave Richard, Arthur would grow to resent him.
His early school life consisted of him being bullied and called a "teacher's pet." He did have a group of friends that helped him through it, however. He would still feel like crap and cry about it though. As the kids grew, the bullying moved from calling him a teacher's pet and jeering at him whenever possible, to them walking all over him since he was quite the pushover, and they knew he wouldn't tell the teachers about it and just laugh it off instead.
But the praise, the attention, all of it changed. His memory started normalizing. He was slowly needing to actually try to remember things. Because of this, his parents attitude did a complete 180. He went from "their genius child" to "the disappointment." Like a flip of the switch, he suddenly became the family's scapegoat. If anything bad had happened, he'd get in trouble for it and they'd chastise him for things he hadn't even done. They put tons of pressure on him. By the time he was 11 they would nitpick about certain things constantly, and the conversation would always end with them mentioning how he hadn't left on a Journey like most kids his age. It got even worse when a year after, Arthur had left for his while all he did was work at cafe (had he got an internship at a lab, they'd probably had been less angry).
His parents had finally decided that the best way to get him to actually do something with himself was to send him off. If he was forced to live on his own, maybe he would get his shit together. So they sent him to Gray Garden Academy; a controlled environment that required him to do stuff on his own. He went without a word, and only thought to himself that maybe this place could actually help him.
