"Wow, seems to go on forever." Cameron noticed after he stopped his jog in the sunflower field known as the Garden of the Sun. "Seems to be empty. Perfect." he commented. Taking off his jacket and shirt he began punching at thin air. "One, two! One, two!" he grunted with each jab. Ever since he got to the academy he had been so obsessed with training his pokemon and becoming the best trainer he could, he'd been slacking on his workout. "Coach'd be pissed at this." he thought as he noticed his punches. "C'mon Faulkner, keep at it!" he roared. Throwing another series of punches and jumping, crouching and sidestepping imaginary punches.
He went on for almost an hour, falling back first onto the ground. He reached into his red sport bag and pulled out a water bottle, gulping the entire bottle down and crushing the plastic in his grip. Then taking out a hand towel and wiping his head clear of any sweat. "Okay." he panted. Reaching into his pant's pocket he pulled out his Monferno's pokeball and opened it, releasing the playful Pokemon from it's chambers. "Alright Trapez, workout time." he announced, the Monferno giving a questioning face to his trainer. "Yup. I want you to spar with Bicy." he added, taking out another pokeball and relaseing the Gurdurr onto the field. The Gurdurr was always one for extravagant entrances, notable by how she slamed her large piece of metal on the ground with a prideful grunt. "Alright Bicy, time to work out, spar with Trapez for a bit." The Gurdurr cracked her knuckles at that, and charged towards her partner already swinging her fists. Making the Monferno immediately go on the defensive.
As the pokemon went on with their tussle Cameron made sure to check on his egg. The premature pokemon was definitely close to his birth. Cracks were becoming noticeable on it's surface. "Just a matter of time now huh?" he asked, before placing it back in his bag and a good distance away form the sparring pokemon. "Right, back to it Cameron." he coached himself back into action. He couldn't slouch again.
Cameron noted how Bicy seemed to focus on brute force, while Trapez seemed to be more of a mixed fighter. Though he wasn't done his workout, as much as he wanted to watch the two he went back to his own motions. Muttering what he always did when he had first gotten into boxing. "Gotta beat 'em."
