After finishing his business in the ruins, Cameron decided it was time he check out the Blissfury Plains. With all of his things packed, Cameron made for the plains. As he jogged to the Bolt Dorm area he noticed that the weight of his bag over his shoulders was a lot lighter. "Oh yeah, Hero hatched." he had to remind himself of that at times. Especially since the newborn would curl up into a ball and look how she did when she was once an egg. As much as he would like to have the cuddly ball in his arms right now, there was no telling what she might do during his run. 

In a short matter of time he was there. "Wow, they weren't joking with that description." The sky was a pitch black and the lightning rods in the area were taking all of the skies falling electricity. "Maybe I should workout here sometime. . ." Cameron wondered. He shrugged off the thought, now wasn't the time for that. Now was the time for finding manly, badass Pokemon. Hyping himself up, he dashed further into the plains. "Alright!" he shouted as he ran for no clear reason.

Amanda tip-toed carefully through the fields, wondering why she had ever chosen to come here. The Blissfury plains were an extremely dangerous place to be, even for a trainer. The lightning rods absorbed most of the raw electricity: yet the young girl still felt nervous about being there.

With a yelp: she ducked to the ground as a bright flash of electricity zapped into the rod near her, cowering momentarily. As the dangerous feeling passed, she slowly sat up, brushing a frizzy strand of hair from her face. That the area had ruined her hairstyle wasn't particularly pleasant either.

''I'm going to have to call the salon right after I get home...'' Amanda mused, pushing herself up fully. Although it was highly unpleasant: the area was known for holding several powerful Pokemon, something she needed.

A loud and rather unpleasant noise drew her attention: turning to face the source, the girl frowned as she saw a rather familiar face. Cameron: speaking with the fool was hardly another trouble she needed, but it couldn't be helped that he was here. A fake smile on her face: she approached the boy.

''Hello!'' she greeted, in a decidedly false sing-song voice. ''It's quite interesting to see you here!''

She may not have like the ''Hero'', but a lady needed to show manners.

He heard someone call out to him as he was about to leave. The way she approached him was as if he knew her from somewhere. Though instead of asking who she was he decided to feign familiarity.  "Oh, hey." he greeted casually. "You here to catch a Pokemon too?" he asked. By he uniform he could tell she was one of the many girls in the Wave dorm. He's seen more girls there than he's seen in the Bolt dorm, and they have a lot of girls. Looking at the girl with the usual examination he gives all those of the opposite gender, something seemed. . . off. He could swear he's seen this dame before but he honestly couldn't remember where or when. Shrugging off the feeling he decided to stop faking and be forward with his ignorance. "So, I know you from somewhere or what?" he asked. "I mean it's cool either way, I just need to get to looking for a Pokemon." he added. "You can walk with me if you want, I'm gonna get to stepping." he began walking further into the plains, although the girl kinda sent of a weird vibe, he wasn't going to stop his progress for that.

Looking for: Shinx, Tauros, Bouffalant, Kangaskhan

''Oui, c'est vrai...'' she responded, blinking in surprise as Cameron didn't even seem to stop to speak to her properly. How rude.

Amanda sighed, following him Her opinion towards him was that he seemed somewhat repugnant, not helped remotely by the way he had stared at her. Enough to make her shift away somewhat uncomfortably. Perhaps it was fine when Seria did that, but Cameron not so much.

He didn't seem to remember her either. She pouted, somewhat offended by his lapse in memory. Even though she had no idea why she would want to socialize.

''Oui...'' she replied dourly: ''...a while back, at the beach. You got sand all over me. Although we never actually spoke...'' It wasn't the only time they had encountered each other, she had seen him from afar around the school a few more times after that. Usually with that attitude of his. the beach was simply a highlight. As they continued to walk, she found herself wondering exactly what sort of Pokemon such a person could want. Probably something large and bulky, a bull or a giant mechanical monster.

She grinned, if she was lucky: maybe one of them could gore him and wipe that smug smile straight off his face.

Cameron pondered, trying to remember the girl in front of him at the beach. Was she really there? He could only remember Seria and Tanya. The latter he managed to really piss off. Though the memory still made him laugh. "There was. . . fat kid, loner boy, and." Cameron gasped in shock. "Weird girl! That was you! The one who called me Garsone!" he exclaimed. "Ahahaha sorry about that. The whole sand thing I mean." he scratched the back of his head as he apologized. "I still don't get how I got sand all over everyone but y'know, whatever." he shrugged, past was the past. No need fretting over it. "So, I can't go calling you Weird Girl now can I?" he stroked his chin at that. "The names Cameron, and now that you know my name it's only fair I know your name, yeah?" he asked.

As they continued their walk they came across a couple of grazing pokemon. A Mareep and a Tauros to be precise. Tauros was indeed a pokemon that he wanted as the concept of wrangling a Tauros was an all too compelling one. A battle with a Tauros could go south fast, especially in an open field like this. Not that Cameron though the pokemon was too much for him, he just didn't want Amanda getting hurt by a raging Tauros. She seemed like a dainty girl, the polar opposite of Sonia. "You interested in any of those? I'm thinkin' of goin' a bit further." he told. "Your choice." he added with a shrug.

Amanda frowned at being called ''weird girl''. It was hardly an appropriate epithet! That Cameron referred to the others as ''fat kid'' and ''loner boy'' she didn't feel her opinion changing much.

''Usually...'' she sighed, her voice calm and measured. ''One does take one's time to step carefully when near a group of people, else accidents can happen.'' How could he not know that? It was common sense; was it not. Regardless, all of the bad blood was making Amanda feel somewhat uncomfortable. Now that he introduced himself, at least they could have a proper conversation.

''Amanda Dupomme...'' she replied: offering her hand to shake. ''It's... interesting to finally meet you proper.''

With two Pokemon appearing in sight: Amanda studied them carefully. One of them was a fairly mean-looking bull. The other an admittedly cute sheep. Although she could see herself capturing the cute one, she wasn't entirely convinced. Besides: Cameron might actually get gored by the bull, as Amanda was growing increasingly convinced that all the bravado probably hid some degree of ineptitude.

''Let's go on further!'' she nodded in agreement. Considering the boy lucky he had a voice of reason in her that was following him.

Amanda passes.

When she brought up taking his time Cameron just laughed, "Sorry, I only take my time in the ring." He made a series of jabs in the air. "That's the only time to take your time, gotta see what your opponent is all about. Everything else. . ." He shrugged. "Everything else is just boring. There's no action just the same drab stuff over and over. So why not speed things up, yeah? Make it fun and exciting, y'know?" he explained his point of view. "People call me weird for it, can't really care for their opinions though."

When she offered him her hand he took it firmly. "Yeah, nice to getcha name too." he responded. With the grazing pokemon passed, another couple appeared, well three to be accurate. A Kangaskhan watching it's child at play and a Blitzle out and about. "Now isn't that something?" Cameron said, his interest piqued by the sight of the bulky mother pokemon. "I think it's time this starts heating up." He took a pokeball from his pocket and approached the Kangaskhan. The motherly pokemon gave a growl in response as Cameron approached the pokemon and her child. "Hey! I'm taking you with me!" he challenged. The hulking pokemon directed it's child away from the scene and brought down a heavy fist at Cameron which he just narrowly dodged with a few jumps back. "Whoa, feisty one. I like it. Alright Trapez, fightin' time!" he roared, throwing a pokeball to the sky, a Monferno being released from it in a bright light.

"Let's get started. Trapez, Close Combat!" Cameron ordered. The simian pokemon assaulting the mother with a series of powerful punches and kicks. The Kangaskhan stood through the onslaught, but Cameron knew that the super effective attack did a lot more damage than it led on. The Kangaskhan then went on it's own assault, charging towards the Monferno with a yellow, glowing fist and knocking the Monferno on the head with Dizzy Punch. With Close Combat's secondary effect of lowering the user's defenses, Trapez took a decent amount of damage. "Alright, let's wrap this up. Close Combat, once more!" Cameron shouted. The Monferno repeating his attack and pounding on the Kangaskhan with punches and kicks. 

When the attack was finished Trapez pounded on his chest victoriously. "Nice job, Bud!" Cameron congratulated. He looked over at the downed Kangaskhan, noticing that the baby had crawled back into the mother's pocket. Knowing that, Cameron tossed his last pokeball at the Kangaskhan. "Nice, another on the Muscle Faction." he grinned. He waited for Amanda to finish with the Blitzle, When he saw she was done, with pride etched in his voice he asked, "So, impressed Amanda?"

Amanda rolled her eyes at the flimsy excuse the boy gave her. Although she was all for differing ideals of life: that was just silly. Life was hardly some soft of game where you could skip through the dull bits with a press of a button.

Still, some part of her had to admire his tenacity in his beliefs. As they approached another group of Pokemon: Amanda frowned as she saw Cameron move towards the Kangashkan. Was he an idiot? One never approached a maternal Pokemon and it's child. The natural instincts would lead them to fight off any danger, in this case the very squishy pink human. True to her instincts, the Kangashkan took a blow at Cameron: barely missing.

The Blitzle seemed agitated by the entire ordeal as well: and Amanda could see it getting hostile as Cameron released his Pokemon. While she would have been content to let him get steamrolled by three angry Pokemon: it wouldn't be sporting.

With a flick of her wrist: she released her Munchlax. At first the baby Pokemon seemed more interested in playing with the baby Kangashkan: only to then realize the battle taking place. Recognizing the situation, the Normal-Type turned it's attention to Amanda and then to the Blitzle: narrowing his eyes.

The girl smiled: impressed at how her Munchlax was growing increasingly perceptive. It was more than she could say for Cameron. Now with a battle on her hands: she quickly withdrew her 'Dex, activating the battle menu.

She smirked at the numbers: with a double weakness to ground, the Blitzle had a very obvious weakness. ''Use Earthquake!'' she ordered.

Nodding, the Munchlax slammed his foot into the ground: tremors and rupturing earth erupting: scoring a direct hit into the Electric Type. Causing a shrill cry of pain to sound out: enough to make Amanda flinch uncomfortably. It served its use however: as the Pokedex alerted her to the health of the enemy, the single attack had been enough to nearly faint it.

Weakly, the Blitzle stood up: another cry as she buckled under her injuries. Glaring at the Munchlax: she dashed forward, hooves igniting as they scraped the dry ground. Jumping: the Zebra Pokemon smacked the burning hooves into the stomach of the Munchlax, to no avail.

Amanda smirked: ''Shabboneau packs on quite the weight dear, you'll find his thick fat insulates him quite well against heat and cold!'' she explained to the Pokemon. It wasn't entirely true, as the Munchlax was indeed a slight too skinny for any actual resistance. Although the attack had been weak enough that it scarcely mattered. Turning to her Munchlax, she commanded: ''End it.''

The Munchlax laughed, pleased with the praise as once more he slammed his foot into the ground. The erupting spikes knocking the Zebra down: the power of the blows knocking it into unconsciousness.

Calmly walking up to the downed Pokemon, Amanda smiled and pressed her last empty ball to it. After all, every lady needed her own personal little pony. ''Don't worry small one, we'll get you healed right up.''

As she did so, she turned to see what Cameron was doing. Surprisingly, he seemed to had finished with his own battle. Grinning triumphantly much like her own Pokemon.

''Impressed with what?'' She queried. Momentarily distracted from realizing he had attempted to capture his own Pokemon.
