"Huuu. Such weak attacks. You think you can beat me with just that? Eevee. Come out and play." Meili's eyes widened at the appearance of a third Poke ball. She quickly moved her hand to drew her third Pokemon but the sequence of events already played out. "Doublade and Skarmory, use Aerial Ace on that Scyther!"

"Shi-no!" Before Meili can even respond with anything, Ju was already hit by a barrage of fast and deadly accurate attacks. Meili quickly called back her Scyther before any further brutality could fall upon it. She took the opportunity to grab a second Pokeball. "I see how you like to play it then. Ci, Du!" Meili sent out her two new Pokemon. "You won't be let off softly! Pen use Flamethrower on Skarmory! Pen unleashed another torrent of flames toward the armored bird as Du and Ci got into position.

Amanda gritted her teeth: snarling at the foulness of the enemy grunt. ''Slut? You are one to talk, you... monster!'' she cried. ''You destroy homes and endanger people, you are the lowliest type of scum and I shall wipe you off the face of the earth!''

Tears in her eyes: Amanda nodded towards her Hariyama. Gesturing for him to take stand in the battle. She was going to destroy that monster at any cost. The Pokemon hesitantly obeyed, somewhat perturbed by the unusual lack of composure his trainer displayed.


Meanwhile: Alfred had flit around the field sticking close to the ground. The battle was very interesting to watch, certainly: and he made a bony grin. Destruction, despair, tears: was there anything better?

His gaze focused on the brute: a big lug of a man. A bit too calm and collected for his taste. No, that simply wouldn't do: if there was going to be an antagonist here. It would be him. Furiously, the Duskull flew towards the grunt, passing alongside him and flitting rapidly all around his field of vision: distracting the big brute.

"Oho. Resorting to the big guns eh? Guess I'll just throw my load in as well." The man cackled a bit before tossing a few more Pokeballs in, releasing a Snorlax and a Dragonite. "Snorlax, take that Shadow Ball! Dragonite, take that Bonemerang! Magnezone, take that Thunder Fang!" One by one, he had his Pokemon take corresponding attacks to suit his tastes. "Now then, Greninja, Blizzard again! Conkeldurr, Rock Slide! Magnezone, use Screech on that Lucario!" Greninja sent out another icy blast on the enemies while Conkeldurr hurdled rocks down on them. Finally, Magnezone sent a sound based screeching noise at Lucario. Being sound based, there was no way for it to miss.

Notes: Released Snorlax and Dragonite. Dragonite intercepted Bonemerang preventing damage due to type immunity. Snorlax intercepted Shadow Ball preventing damage due to type immunity. Magnezone intercepted Thunder Fang for minor damage. Greninja used Blizzard on all enemies; Attack missed Lucario and Sylveon. For all else, 110 BP + STAB, weaknesses where applicable. Conkeldurr used Rock Slide on all enemies; Lucario and Luxray flinched. BP 75 + weaknesses where applicable. Magnezone used Screech on Lucario, lowering defense by two stages.


Cameron vs. Terrorist Grunt

The woman watched as her Pokemon were defeated with a few more attacks from the young man. "I-If I had brought more Pokemon you would've been dead meat!" Realizing that she was defeated, the woman recalled her Pokemon and retreated with haste, leaving behind her team.

Amanda vs. Terrorist Grunt

"Heracross, eat that Moonblast for Gurdurr! Gurdurr, use Hammer Arm on that Marshtomp to finish it off! Sandile, Crunch on that Lunatone!" Heracross took the hit for Gurdurr as well as the one aimed at itself. Following that, the remaining two Pokemon went in for an attack. Perhaps this grunt got lucky? He got the girl who thought trying to distract him was more important that trying to beat him.

Notes: Heracross fainted. Gurdurr used Hammer Arm on Marshtomp; 100 BP + STAB. Sandile used Crunch on Lunatone; 80 BP + STAB x2 from weakness.


Alice vs. Terrorist Grunt

"Heh. Simple work. Kangaskhan, take that Flame Burst! Roselia, take that Slash for Kangaskhan as well!" The Pokemon blocked the attacks that came at them in a way that was beneficial to the man. The Roselia was utterly knocked out by the two attacks it took, while Kangaskhan survived the Flame Burst with just a little strength to spare. "This'll be your big finish Kangaskhan! Outrage on that Absol! Magnemite, Discharge everything!" With that, the two Pokemon make their last moves. First the Kangaskhan went, hitting the Absol before getting knocked out by friendly fire. The man was down to one Pokemon now.

Notes: Kangaskhan took Flame Burst; critical condition. Roselia took Slash and Wing Attack; fainted. Kangaskhan continued its Outrage on Absol; 120 BP. Magnemite used Discharge on everything on the field; 80 BP + STAB. Aerodactyl is paralyzed!

"Ehehehe. How laaaame. Eevee, intercept that Flamethrower for Skarmory!" Eevee, who was now in the battle, intercepted the Charmander's attack doing moderate damage. "Now, our turn to do some damage. Skarmory, Aerial Ace on the Croagunk! Eevee, Double Edge on that Charmander. Doublade, Aerial Ace on that Charmander as well!" The girl selected her targets carefully. She would be picking each one off, one by one. "Tick tock! Almost done!" A creepy laugh escaped the girl.

Notes: Eevee intercepted Flamethrower; moderate damage. Skarmory used Aerial Ace on Croagunk; 60 BP + STAB x2 from weakness. Doublade used Aerial Ace on Charmander; 60 BP. Eevee used Double Edge on Charmanderl 120BP + Adaptability (240 BP); Eevee takes recoil damage.

Amanda grimaced: what the hell was Alfred trying to do? In her moment of distraction, she failed to pay attention to the battle. Suffering heavily as the large grunt ordered an attack.

Cries of pain were heard, both of her Pokemon dropping to the ground with a thud: too injured to remain conscious. Amanda could scarcely keep herself from falling to the ground as well. Her nails digging into her hand: she couldn't even feel the small trickles of blood escaping the punctured skin.

Rather, Amanda simply wordlessly reached into her purse: tossing out two final Pokeballs: with Shabboneau and the Pinsir. All emotion drained from her face, she stared down the targets.

''End it...'' she whispered.

All three of her battling Pokemon nodded, the Duskull merely staring in shock at what was transpiring. With eager shouts of anger: the rushed the enemy, intent on avenging their fainted comrades.

Well, things had gotten a lot worse since Kangaskhan continued the outrage and Discharge had hit everything including her Aerodactyl. Kazuya fell to the ground after those two attacks hit, leaving him unconscious for the whole fight. She returned him back inside his Pokeball and watched as Aero got struck by Discharge which left him in critical condition and also paralyzed. Henry was hit by Discharge, but luckily, he wasn't paralyzed. She sent out Isabeau who unsheathed herself for the fight. Now that Roselia was out, she could focus on that Magnemite and Kangaskhan. She noticed that her poor Litwick wasn't feeling good and was taking damage from the poison. "Henry, finish that Magnemite off with Flame Burst! Isabeau, finish off that Kangaskhan with Night Slash! Aero, if it gets worse, I want you to use Ancient Power on that Kangaskhan!" Henry released another searing flame on the Magnemite. Isabeau's blade glowed purple as she slashed at the Kangaskhan. Aero summoned floating rocks and hurled them towards the Kangaskhan. The battle was almost finished as she needed to take down two of them, but especially the Kangaskhan. That Pokemon was the intended target since she had assumed that the mammalian Pokemon was quite powerful and hard to take down.

"Ehehehe. How laaaame. Eevee, intercept that Flamethrower for Skarmory!" Meili hissed at the fact that the little girl's eevee was so willing to take the attack. "Now, our turn to do some damage. Skarmory, Aerial Ace on the Croagunk! Eevee, Double Edge on that Charmander. Doublade, Aerial Ace on that Charmander as well!" Du endured the fast attack the best she can. Pen however,didn't last being pelted by so many attacks. The Charmander collapsed unconscious from the barrage of attacks. Meili returned Pen as fast as possible. "Tick tock! Almost done!"

"Like hell!" Meili wasn't about to lose here. Baring the fact that there would be dire consequences if she lost, she needed to redeem herself here and now. "Du, Sucker Punch on Doublade! Ci use Flash Cannon on Eevee!" Ci fired a blast of light from her mouth toward the Eevee. In the chaos of all this, Du started to dash across the field ready to punch her target.

Brennan watched both Melon and Clementine fall and her heart fell with them. Not because she thought she was losing the fight─far from it─but because she felt she let them down. Plum watched in horror as Melon was recalled after the rock slide, glaring daggers at the Pokemon across from them. If looks could kill the fight would have been over already. In her fallen Pokemon’s place were quickly put her Nidoqueen, Olive, and ditto Jujube that as soon as he was on the field took the form of the opposing Greninja thanks to his ability. Carob was still digging himself from the rocks, so she would have to move without him for now.



Taking no hesitation in calling orders again she called out, “Jujube! Turn that Blizzard back on them! Olive, Focus Blast on the Magnezone! Plum, take out the Dragon!” She wanted to dismount and send Quince in as well, the Rapidash pawing angrily at the ground, but she knew she needed to wait to see how things went out. The imposter Ditto quickly surrounded the enemy in a powerful blizzard, his type changing to Ice as he stole the Greninja’s ability as well. Olive cracked her knuckles, holding her hands in front of her before hurling a more powerful than it should be attack straight at the Magnezone. Plum’s eyes glowed for a moment before a pseudo-moon formed in the sky, hurtling towards the Dragonite. If all went well, the tides would turn soon.

Glancing over she noticed the boy who was talking to her earlier had finished his battle.  Good, at least he was able to walk the walk.  Calling over to him she nodded to the other students, "Help them out and keep together!  I'll be there to help soon!"

"Gahaha! You activated my trap card!" As Dragonite was hit with the ice attack, its Marvel Scale ability kicked in, reducing damage by half from the Blizzard! Following that, its Weakness Policy kicked in doubling its attack and special attack! "Greninja, intercept that Focus Blast! Conkeldurr, intercept Moonblast!" These two both went down as their respective attacks hit them. The blizzard went on to hit everything on the field, doing varying amount of damage. "Now. Showtime. Magnezone, Thunderbolt on that Ditto! Snorlax and Dragonite, Rock Slide! Put these guys in their place!" A flurry of rocks were sent down from two Pokemon while Magnezone shot a cannon at the Ditto transformed into his Greninja.

"Sandile, take that Storm Throw!" As the attack came for Gurdurr, Sandile threw itself in its place before being hit by the Superpower and fainting. Returning his Pokemon, the man was left with just his Gurdurr who was almost down foe the count. "Now, Gurdurr! Rock Slide on the enemies!" With a pummeling of rocks, Gurdurr managed to send off another attack at the enemy.

"Kangaskhan, intercept that Flame Burst!" Before going down for the count, Kangaskhan protected Magnemite form the attack. "Now, Magnemite! Discharge again!" Magnemite released another attack on the enemy. This was his last Pokemon so he had to make it count.

"Doublade, eat that Flash Cannon for Eevee! Then go in for another Aerial Ace on the Croagunk!" Taking the two relatively weak attacks, Doublade moved in for another attack. "Skarmory, do the same! Aerial Ace on Croagunk!" Then, the girl cracked into an eerie smile. "Eevee. Last Resort." With astounding speed, the Eevee charged at the Horsea! A cackle escaped the girl as she watched her Eevee run in with guns blazing.

Arcanines were particularly fast if trained and fed properly. This was under normal circumstances. With Extreme Speed in effect, though? The speed was on an entirely different level. The space between their last battleground and that of the first team, led by Instructor Brennan, closed quickly- ridiculously quickly. Once they arrived at the battle, the woman tightened her grip on Culaine, around the neck, slightly. The fact that she could do that without frightening the Arcanine was a sign of the mutual trust and faith between them. She quickly took in the surroundings.

”We're here. Both of you, off. Hurry and help however you can!” Once both kids were off, she and Culaine made their way to one of the skirmishes. The kid was in dire straits, outnumbered and under fire. The Arcanine skidded to a stop next to the girl. At the same time, the woman flicked her wrist to send out two Pokemon. Intercepting the two Aerial Aces directed at a Croagunk was a Dusclops! On the other end, nullifying the Last Resort completely, was a Golurk! The woman nodded when she verified that the girl's Pokemon were okay.

”You're not alone. Keep fighting!” With that, the woman was officially assisting the girl.

Allying with Meili

”Dracula, use Fire Punch on Doublade! Gilgamesh, use Drain Punch on the Eevee!” She wasn't going to win the fight for the girl, though. She was just going to aid her- allow her to reach victory with her own two hands. The Dusclops closed in on the intended target, launching a flaming fist! Meanwhile, the Golurk, still winded from the previous fight, launched a powerful punch at the Eevee, grateful for the chance to replenish its energy!

Actions:

Dusclops: Intercepted both Aerial Aces directed at Croagunk. Retaliated with a Fire Punch on Doublade. 75 BP, 2x modifier on intended target, backed with a base attack of 70.

Golurk: Intercepted and nullified Eevee's Last Resort. Retaliated with a Drain Punch on Eevee. 75 BP, 2x modifier on intended target, backed with a base attack of 124. Enhanced by 20% due to Expert Belt's effect. 50% of damage will be returned to Golurk as health.

And Kangaskhan went down which was good. However, that wasn't the end of it as Magnemite continued to send out bolts of electricity to everyone present. With both Henry and Isabeau paralyzed, she noticed that Aero had been defeated by the electric bolt. She recalled him back into his Pokeball and sent out Claude to take his place. And she realized that girl with the Charmander was struggling. That Magnemite needed to be taken care of first before assistance could be done. Fortunately, the Battle Tactics teacher helped the girl out. "Alright. We got one more to go. Isabeau, use Shadow Sneak and Henry, use another Flame Burst if you can! Claude, use Aqua Tail on that Magnemite if those two are not able to move!" Isabeau summoned shadows of herself that slashed at the Magnemite while Henry released another searing flame. Claude jumped in the air and slammed his glowing blue tail at the Magnemite. She was particularly worried for the two ghosts as they had a chance of not attacking and could not move if the paralysis took effect. She hoped that the battle would be over in order to give those who had fainted a good rest back home.

Riding on the Arcanine was quite the experience for the girl. Quite the experience mainly because the girl managed to doze off during the ride despite the intense speeds. And so, when the teacher finally stopped the ride, the girl stirred a bit before losing her balance on the Arcanine and subsequently fell back, bringing the other passenger down with her. Blinking, Sonia realized that she was on the ground with none other than her breeding partner. Hey, Fi, the ground isn't a good place to take a nap. Getting up and brushing herself off, Sonia looked around before realizing that she was here to help the other team with their battle. Oh right, time to save some people! Looking around, the girl spotted her first target to help out.

Helping Amanda

Spotting a blonde girl fighting off some scary-looking guy, Sonia realized that she was in trouble and needed saving. Don't worry! I've got this! After all, Sonia wanted to look cool above all else. Pulling out a single Pokeball, the girl tossed it out and issued an order. Nestor, Waterfall on that Gurdurr! Sonia's Crocnaw came out and propelled itself at the Gurdurr at full force. Gahahaha! Get up from that! Sonia seemed to be enjoying the blatant upper hand she had over the man with one Pokemon left.

Now, the trip to the next battleground had been short. Very short. Adolfina was both impressed and pleased by the turn of events. Having safely arrived in good time, the girl nodded when urged to get off. What she did not expect was for her crazy (and very stupid) business partner to drag her down off of the Arcanine in what seemed to be a half-asleep stupor. With the mixture of a cry of shock and a frustrated growl, she tried to knock the idiotic girl off of her, despite the words the girl was uttering.

”And whose fault do you think it was that I fell?!” With a huff and a grumble, the blonde stood up and dusted herself off, sending a very evil glare at Strugatskaya. Scanning the battleground, she looked not for who needed the most help, but who had the highest rank at this field. That would be Miss Brennan. She would assist her instructor, get on the woman's good side, and utilize that for. . . whatever she needed, really. Miss Brennan didn't teach tactics, but this would perhaps grant the blonde some degree of favoritism with the distribution of eggs, or something, in future classes.

She could hope, anyway.

Allying with Brennan

”I'm here to assist you, Miss Brennan.” She announced after the enemy had attacked. She checked their team. The targets were a Magnezone, Snorlax, and Dragonite. The third was weak to Rock-type. Snorlax was neutral, and Magnezone resisted it. However, overall, a good Rock attack was worth it. The Magnezone was part-Steel. That meant Fire was good. As for the Snorlax, she didn't want to send out a whole swarm, especially if the instructor was touchy about having the “victory” snatched from her. In other words, it was best to send out whatever would best improve the mood. Therefore, she sent out her Flygon, Volcarona, and the unnamed Mareep.

”Limos, use Rock Slide! Ra, use Fiery Dance on the Magnezone! And, you, use Signal Beam on the Snorlax!” As the three Pokemon went about with their orders, the girl looked to her teacher, smiling pleasantly. ”I hatched the egg you gave me.” She noted with a slight note of pride before looking back to the attacks being launched.

Being Steel type itself, it resisted the attack. "Skarmory, do the same! Aerial Ace on Croagunk! Eevee. Last Resort." Meili's eyes widened. There was no way her Pokemon will be able to endure the attacks. She collapsed on to her knees. Meili slowly started to stand up. This was feeling was...relief? Either way, Meili was not going to waste this.

"Du use Sucker Punch on Doublade! Ci use Brine on Skarmory!" Ci blasted a torrent of salt water as Du dashed across the field along side Dusclops to join in on the punching party.

Amanda simply stood still, quietly staring into the distance of the charred battlefield. Crossing her bleeding arms together as she found herself unable to say or do anything. Her Pokemon, had realized this, and they found themselves quickly organized. Alfred and the Pinsir retrieving their fallen comrades from danger while Shabboneau retreated to his trainer, making sure she remained safe. While Fisto continued to battle, intent on ending the conflict as quickly as he could.

The Hariyama noticed the backup from a new trainer, yet he wasn't focused on that. As the earlier barrage of rocks rammed into him and his friends, he simply knocked them aside with minimal effort. He had dealt with far worse before, so with his mind on avenging his harmed comrades, the shiny lunged at the Gurdurr.

While most of them would be having a hard time staying on their feet, she knew Plum at least had a way to keep herself out of trouble. Afterwords she could worry about healing up the damage. “Plum, protect yourself!” Plum held her ground, throwing up a barrier to keep any damage from hurting her that turn. Olive, between her strength towards the rock and the reflect Plum had put up a couple turns prior, didn’t take much damage from the slide.

The transformed Jujube with it’s new Ice type, however, was struggling with the rocks after the first time and the second time proved too much. Carob still couldn’t pull himself from under the piling rocks, and with his lowered defense it was plain to Deirdre he couldn’t push on too much longer. She wasn’t a fighter, she knew this, but it wasn’t as if she could have brought herself to stay hidden away in the academy while the students and her coworker went on by themselves. Her Pokemon were strong, but only now was she realizing how much she relied on that to cover her own weakness in strategy.

Recalling the two Pokemon, she threw two more Pokeballs into the field. She wasn’t done yet. “Goji, Rhubarb, you’re up! Goji, go Mega and use Night Slash on the Snorlax! Barb, use Dragon Pulse on the Dragonite to make sure it’s down for the count! Olive, try focus blast on the Magnezone again!” As she heard a young voice next to her, and turned to see who it was as the attacks joined her own Pokemon. She mumbled ‘Ms.’ briefly before she caught herself, but instantly felt relief when she noticed Catherine’s team was there to give them help. With her second in command missing in action, she was more than grateful for the additional help.

She felt terrible for needing it, but she wouldn’t turn it down. Brennan was a breeder, not a fighter, that was Catherine’s territory. Was she embarrassed that she couldn’t pull through on her own? Absolutely. But as long as these assholes went down she would be content. Smiling to Adolfina she couldn’t help but laugh with relief, “I’m glad to see you hatched him without problems, I hope he’s treating you well.” Turning back to their opponent it was all she could do not to stick her tongue out at him in a childish manner. She was a teacher after all, but she knew the assailants were through and dang it would be nice to rub it in.
