Back the manor, there always seemed to be memories of catching her first Pokemon there. But first, there was also a particular Pokemon that she wanted to catch. Would a Psychic type actually fit with the team in some way? The water bug had also slid next to her, wanting to help catch another one for the team. He had remembered his memory of catching a sword and it was his first battle. Actually, Psychic types did represent the Mana Dorm in some way as they had mysterious powers and were regarding as mystical Pokemon. The manor seemed to be a nice place to live in if not for the ghosts that inhabited this place. Yes, there were still ghosts that inhabited the manor now and then, but she didn't mind at all. She liked haunted places, so the manor was the least of her troubles.

A few minutes later, a Trubbish happened to be standing there, looking for something. The water bug could tell that this trash bag was not what they were looking for. The Pokedex identified it as a Poison type which would've not fit in the team in anyway since she didn't have any plans to get a Poison type anyway. Without a word, she quietly walked past the Trubbish, hoping not to disturb whatever she was doing there. Since the bug itself was a Bug type, that Trubbish would not be a good opponent for starters. They continued their excursion into the manor, looking out for anything that might be the psychic cat they're looking for.
(Pass on Trubbish.)

And a Bronzor appeared out of nowhere and she already had a Steel type on her team. The plate shield was just doing nothing until it had realized that the person in front of it didn't want to battle. Even though it might be a good Psychic type for the team, its Steel typing made it redundant for the others. Thus, it might be a good idea to pass on this one because they did not come here for a steel shield thing. And Bronzor's defenses were somewhat high, so there was no fighting to be done either. At least, the steel shield was nice enough to let her walk past it while it just stared back at the duo, confused as to what was going on. Oh well, time to delve deeper into the manor as the night was still young for the both of them.
(Pass on Bronzor.)

Delving deeper into the creepy manor managed to get some interesting Pokemon. And for something unexpected, she bumped into a Beldum. Yes, that Beldum. While its single red eye stared at her quite creepily, she decided it would be alright to catch it. After all, it was quite rare in the Hoenn region from what she read during her studies. "Alright. Use Shadow Ball!" The water bug complied with her orders and summoned a blob of dark energy in which he fired it at the floating arm thing with an eye. The floating arm recoiled in pain, but did a reckless tackle on the water bug which also damaged it as well. Senketsu cringed in pain, but nonetheless waited for his next order. "Again, Shadow Ball!" The bug summoned another dark blob of energy and fired it at the opposing floating arm. It recoiled in pain again, but did another reckless tackle on the bug which also seemed to damage it. Seems like that floating arm was making it easier to actually weakening itself for capture. The water bug cringed in pain as the tackle managed to make another bruise on his leg. "Another Shadow Ball!" The bug summoned another blob of dark energy and fired it at the floating arm. Its red eye widened in shock and slowly closed as it drifted down into the ground. Telltale spirals in its eyes had told them that it was unconscious. She took out an empty Pokeball and sighed. Obviously, this Beldum was going to be a consolation prize if Espurr wasn't found. She proceeded to capture the rare floating arm.

The Academy Ball wiggled three times before the glorious clicking sound was heard again. It was a long and hard search for the psychic cat, but that produced an unexpected result, a floating arm that was rare from the Hoenn region. Even so, that experience had taught her that some Pokemon could not be taken for granted and that sometimes, a little patience might reward you, depending on what luck had in store. The water bug had been bruised by the reckless tackles, so she returned him to his Pokeball before any damage could be done further. Picking up the Pokeball where the captured Beldum was inside gingerly, she released the robotic arm out where its single red eye blinked emotionlessly. "I know that there are disappointments in this, but I don't feel any upset now that you're here. What do you say we head on home, Crux?" The robotic arm agreed with an ecstatic look on its eye and followed her out of the manor, apparently happy that he had a new trainer to be with.
