Nothing Is More Fruity [Berries]

Inside the forest was an orchard where one would pick berries off a tree or something. Ah, the smell of fresh berries was refreshing and the weather was a little windy. The morning sun came to greet her and her Snivy as they made their way to the various orchard fields. Claude allowed himself to bask in the sun for a while before yawning and stretching. Apparently, she read that berries had healing and curing effects and some were used for Pokeblocks. Well, Pokeblocks were from the Hoenn region, but Poffins were from a different region. Maybe the mountainous region from a faraway land had some different berries. After looking around for a good orchard, she found an orchard with a good abundance of berries to spare. She began to pick them off, one by one and the leaf lizard helped pluck them off too. Those berries would make a good snack for the rest of the team.

Ah, the aroma of berries had wafted throughout the morning air. And that was the routine where she had to gather berries for the whole team. Sobek was with her, sniffing the air and his mouth watered at the smell of berries fresh from the orchard. It was no wonder that the small crocodile was hungry and she quietly told him to wait until they found a good orchard to pick berries from. Sometimes, she had never knew that Sobek could be a hungry little crocodile, but that was what made crocodiles what they are. And after a good five minutes, they found an orchard with an abundance of berries. She picked them off, one by one while Sobek helped out with plucking them off with his jaws, but he was careful not to accidentally crush them in between.

Some of her Pokemon had evolved after the invasion which was a good thing, but there was still something that could attack the island at this point which was why she needed extra protection from terrorist groups like this mysterious team. Henry was floating beside her as they made their way to the berry orchards and the ghostly lamp wanted to make it his goal to protect his trainer at all costs. She considered the lamp to be her close friend since he was determined to get stronger for her sake. To their luck, another berry orchard had an abundance of berries to pluck from and with that, she picked off the berries one by one. The ghostly lamp helped out with picking the berries off with his arms and carrying them. Looks like these berries might come in handy in case of emergencies where there was no food for her team.

The berry orchards in the morning had always looked stunning with different berries adorning every bush that she could find. Flynn the Larvesta was happily crawling alongside her as he eyed the delicious berries in the orchards. She smiled down at him and told him that they would have to find a good orchard to pick berries from. The tournament had a lot of things to think about, mostly her inevitable loss to Meili. Well, she was a good opponent with a Diglett and a Horsea. Said Diglett had suckered punched Morticia into oblivion, preventing her from getting her battle experience. She didn't hate her for that, but she did want to cheer her on in the second round which seemed to be going on somewhat. And at last, they found an orchard with a good abundance of berries to pick from. She started to pick them off, one by one, and put them in her pouch. Flynn helped pick them off with his hands and seemed to have fun while doing it.

She decided to take Lulu for berry-gathering since the two-headed dark dragon was probably useful for picking out two berries at once. The blind dragon sniffed at the aroma of berries and at once, her mouth watered at the taste of berries in her mouth. The duo walked around the orchards, trying to find a good one where the blind dragon can actually easily pick berries from. And lo and behold, an orchard had the right amount of delicious berries for the two to pick at their heart’s content. She began picking them off the orchard and putting them in her berry pouch while the blind two-headed dragon used her jaws to pick up the berries and put them in the pouch, careful not to accidently eat and swallow them for the purpose of berry-picking. Certainly, those berries would be good snacks for the team and would help survive battles against Pokemon that could potentially have super-effective attacks.

It was that time of the week again where she had to gather berries for the rest of the team to use. She was accompanied by her newly hatched Larvitar who looked around for some rocks to eat within the orchards. Tyler had not been used to the forested atmosphere, but he just wanted to tag along and see what they would find. He seemed to be a morning person, judging by how he liked the fresh air in the morning and also liked to walk around in the daytime. Once they found an orchard, she began to pick off the berries, not caring about what she would actually get. Tyler helped pick some of the berries off the leaves and put them inside her pouch and he had some fun doing the picking. After a few hours passed and the orchard was now empty, they went home to the Mana Dorms.

It had felt like weeks since she had picked some of the berries, but she did get some new members for her team. Hans had decided to accompany her on the trip back to the orchards and he loved being outside in order to be beside his new trainer. She had thought back to the last two battles and had been working on her strategies with her Pokemon. It seemed as if they needed some moves to counter and be offensive at the same time, but there was no time to think about it. After a while, they had reached another orchard full of berries and she had picked them off the leaves. The Ralts used his psychic powers to levitate the berries and put them in her pouch and he seemed to enjoy doing tasks for her, something that he wanted to do for himself.

There seemed to be more money berries that she gathered than usual last week. It did seem as though luck was favoring her, though it should not be taken lightly. Even so, she did have some fun picking berries along with her Pokemon and they did enjoy it. She walked around the berry orchards with the newly acquired Trevenant in tow where he looked around his surroundings. Lucius seemed to be wary of some other students picking berries, but he didn't see any harm from it. She wasn't sure if the ghost tree would listen to her after being traded to her, but that would only happen if he were to battle a wild Pokemon in this case. They found an orchard and she began to pick the berries off the leaves and put them inside her pouch. Lucius began to do the same with his claws and helped with the berry-gathering until they were done.
