Oleg let out a faint sigh as Jack got blasted with hot water, forcing the panda to back up 'till he was touching the wall, roaring in anguish as he finally fell to his knees, Oleg calling the defeated panda back. He smiled once more to the ball reassuringly before going to scroll trough his current ones. He then nodded as he decided to play out the big guns, throwing the ball and releasing... Walter.

The electivire looked around for a moment before identifying the target, the wires on his back letting out sparks as he looked to his trainer. "Ice punch, Walt!"

Walter smirked and nodded, his fists suddenly freezing solid as he then ran forwards, letting out a roar as the wires sparked more electricity before slamming the fists at the kelp pokemon.

Action: Jack out, Walter in. Used Ice Punch, base power 75, super effective, backed by base attack of 123. Will roll for freeze chance.

Tanya didn't like the odds she was facing. Things were not turning out well and she wasn't sure if she was going to win. She didn't want to count herself out though. Maybe there was a chance of victory for her in the long run. All she needed to do was play smart. If she did so, she could stand a chance of winning this match.

"Dani! Knock away your foe with Dragon Tail!" Tanya commanded, biting her lip and glaring at Oleg. She didn't want to lose, especially to Oleg. If she had gone for the more consistent attack, it might've been possible for her to have the advantage. Unfortunately, Tanya took a gamble and it didn't pay off. That was the truth of it all.

Dani, after taking the attack, swung her tail out towards the Electivire, hoping to hit it with her tail. If the attack succeeded, she should be able to drag out another pokemon. Hopefully, it would be a better opponent than this one.

Action: Dani used Dragon Tail

Oleg watched as the kelp pokemon charged forwards, slamming Walter with it's tail, causing Walter to be slammed towards Oleg, before being forcibly called into his ball and another ball activating, sending out... Rinnie the Altaria. He grinned victoriously as the floating cloud of fluff looked around for a moment in confusion before noticing the Kelp, chirping happily at it.

"Okay Rinnie, use Dragon Pulse!" Rinnie cooed as a answer, floating around for a moment as she gathered energy before suddenly opening her wings, letting out another loud coo and launching a pulse of sorts towards the draggalge.

Action: Rinnie was dragged out. Used Dragon Pulse, 85 base, STAB, Super effective, backed by base special attack of 70.

"Oh fucking hell!" Tanya yelled. This was just not fair. This was basically just going to suck from here on out and knowing what pokemon she had left, Tanya knew that she wasn't going to win this easily. It was practically impossible at this point. She still was going to put up a decent effort though. Dani was going to faint. That much was obvious. Returning Dani to her pokeball,

"Christina! Come out and use Thunder Wave!" Tanya called out, looking increasingly frustrated as she sent out her Pikachu. Christina started bouncing around the area, looking like she was having the time of her life. It was enough to slightly ease her tensions, but she still couldn't help but feel bitter about how the match had been going so far.

Turning towards her opponent, she quickly charged up and sent a small electric jolt towards the Altaria, paralyzing the pokemon's muscles and possibly preventing them from moving. Maybe if things stayed like that, she could get a bit of a respite, but somehow, she doubted that would happen.

Action: Dani fainted and Christina sent out. Used Thunder Wave to cause Paralysis.

Oleg blinked a bit as Tanya cursed. Hm, she never did seem to be the type to curse like a sailor, but each to their own. Just don't let the power get into your head and you'll be fine. He then watched as the spark was sent, paralyzing the poor bird as she then fell onto the ground, thankfully unharmed. He tapped his chin for a moment before nodding to himself and calling the bird back and sending out Walter.

He then returned his attention to Tanya. He was sorry for this, but he wanted to make sure Rinnie would be fine. Best way to win was to make it with as little damage as you could.

Tanya crossed her arms and looked on at Oleg as he returned his Altaria for his Electivire. She was a bit confused why he went ahead and did this, but she wasn't going to look into too much detail about it. It was obvious from her expressions that she didn't look happy, but she shrugged. If she was going down, she was going to go down with as much of a fight as possible. After all, that's what the Christiansons do.

"Christina! Sweet Kiss!' Tanya ordered, her happy-go-lucky persona falling apart to reveal a somewhat pragmatic and serious side of her. She knew that attacking for the moment was next to pointless. After all, she only had electric moves which had next to no effect on the opponent. However, if she was able to debilitate her opponent's team, she could at least have a bit of an advantage using Gundamu.

Christina bounced up to the Electivire, giving him puppy dog eyes as she went up and kissed him sweetly on the cheek. Giggling after the affair, Christina bounced back to her trainer, giving her a light smile as she did. Christina wasn't the best battler, but she did set her heart at ease.

Action: Christina used Sweet Kiss.

Walter blinked as he watched the pikachu hopped over to him, tilting his head as the pikachu gave him puppy dog eyes... Only to blink and blush crimson as said pikachu kissed him on the cheek, causing him to fall back slightly and fall onto his arse. He looked to his trainer, still heavily blushing and trying to make sense of the situation.

Oleg shrugged. "Come on Walt, it's only a kiss. Go and Ice punch, incase she changes onto that giant!" Walter nodded, staring back to the Pikachu as he then lumbered forwards, his fists freezing as he then attempted to hit the thing, a spark of doubt and confusion in his eye.

Action: Used Ice Punch, base power 75, backed by base attack of 123. Will roll for freeze chance and confusion.

Tanya let out a soft sigh as the attack succeeded. Tanya knew that the situation she was in was less than positive. At least she could buy herself at least one turn. Giving how her luck had been so far, she guessed it was probably only going to be one turn. What was it with her battles against people like Astrid and Oleg that just gave her really shitty luck? If things had gone her way, she might've won. Yet she probably should stop complaining. After all, Oleg was doing well. She just hoped he wouldn't pull a Seria on her. She might actually hit him if he did that.

There really wasn't much she could do now though. She couldn't use items, she couldn't paralyze the Electivire and she only had electric attacks, so anything that she used against him might as well be a stiff breeze. While Christina had managed to confuse him, she didn't think it would last too long.

"Use Thunderbolt, I guess." Tanya said. She was probably going to lose, might as well go with the motions. Charging up electricity, Christina shot a large blot from her cheeks towards the other pokemon. It probably wasn't going to do anything. At least it was something though.

Action: Christina uses Thunderbolt. No rolls necessary due to electric types being immune to paralysis.

Oleg watched as Walter managed to get a hit in, resulting in Tanya ordering the Pikachu to use thunderbolt. She had no moves that could damage Walter? Awh crap. Oleg hoped this would not make him seem like an arsehole. He had just switched out to protect himself against said attacks, not to become completely immune to everything aimed at him.

Walter, on the other hand, was enjoying himself greatly. He got out of his confusion and blush, and was now fed with DELICIOUS electricity. He practically lauched as the electricity was shot at him, seeping into his two wires as he had what could be described as a power trip.

Before Oleg could even order his next attack, the electivire was already doing something, his eyes glowing blue as he suddenly pointed his wires at the poor pikachu, seemingly using Psychic.

Action: Used Psychic, base power 90 backed by special attack base of 95. Will roll for special defense lower chance.

Was he serious? This was just being insulting now. Yes, she realized now that the Electivire had Motor Drive, meaning that she's just giving him even more stats. She was fine with that. What she was not fine with was the Electivire playing around with her pokemon. Using Psychic, the Pikachu was flung to the ground and knocked unconscious. The fact that he just used a different move even in the state Christina was in offended her greatly. After all, he could just use the same move to knock her out.

"Just because you're winning, doesn't mean you can just play around with my pokemon!" Tanya yelled angrily, crossing her arms and giving a very stern look towards Oleg as she returned Christina to her pokeball. Sure, it wasn't Oleg's fault completely, but he should have at least enough control over his pokemon to have some control over them. She didn't even call out her pokemon as Gundamu took back to the field.

"Let's just finish this battle already. Earthquake." Tanya stated bluntly, not having anymore of this behavior. While it certainly wasn't as bad as what Seria faced, Tanya was still hurt by the Electivire's behavior. Looking at the Electivire, Gundamu raised his arm and smashed it into the ground, causing a tremor to shake the battlefield. Tanya, still looking unhappy, stood still, as if unaffected by the attack.

Action: Christina knocked out and Gundamu sent in. Gundamu used Earthquake.

Oleg blinked as Tanya adressed him. "Oi, I didin't order him to, I was planning on Ice Punch!" He then let out a faint grunt. Dammit Walter. He then blinked as the Gundamu was sent out once more, punching the ground and causing Walter to flop over with a loud thud, ending his power trip and resulting in Oleg calling him back. He then looked at the ball, cursing. "Dammit Walt."

He then went trough his pokeballs before nodding, calling out Rinnie the Altaria, who was now cured from her paralyze thanks to Natural Cure. He then nodded to the bird. "Let's end it. Ice beam!" Rinnie nodded, turning around and cooing before unleashing ice beam at the Gundamu.

Action: Walter is out, switched out to Rinnie who was cured thanks to natural cure. Used Ice Beam. Will roll for freeze chance.

When Gundamu managed to take the attack decently well, Tanya let out an annoyed sigh. This was just going to be a long battle of attrition. Even if somehow Tanya had managed to make it through the slog that was the Altaria, Gundamu would still have to face the last pokemon and honestly, Tanya didn't want to have to make this battle any more painful than it already was.

"I concede." Tanya called out stoically, returning Gundamu to his pokemon and letting out a sigh. Tanya knew she shouldn't feel this way, but she still didn't appreciate that Oleg didn't have enough control over his pokemon to cause them to act on their own. It was a good battle, Tanya had to admit that. She was just annoyed at how badly her lucky went.

"Good match Oleg, I guess I lost." Tanya shrugged. She didn't want to leave. Instead, she stood on her side of the field, crossing her arms and blowing the occasional tuff of hair out of her face. She was trying to calm down, but right now, she couldn't help but feel irrationally annoyed at Oleg and herself.

Action: Tanya conceded. You win!

Oleg sighed, calling Rinnie back was he then just stood there for a moment, awkwardly trying to reason himself a way to solve this. He then slowly scooted over to Tanya, scratching the back of his neck for a moment. "You know I'm sorry, right? Walt's just... Kinda over his head when he gets some electricity, especially from other pokemon. Hell, be glad he didn't decide to spam fire punch or some stuff."

He dipped his head down with a sigh. "Though I do admit I should get that under control somehow. I'm just kinda lax with him due to our lifestyle. He's my "roomie" at the moment, practically being out all the time at the apartment, and I've just come used to not saying no to him."

Tanya listened to Oleg's apologies, facing away from him and looking at him from the corner of her eye. While she did want to stay angry at Oleg, she knew that his apology was heartfelt. It was for that reason that she loosened up her body, scratching the back of her neck sheepishly as she tried to get over the feelings she had at the moment, turning to face him.

"It's cool man. I'm sorry for how I acted. When I get in the battle, sometimes I just lose control of my emotions." Tanya admitted, shrugging her shoulders and sighing to herself. She felt like she had said that excuse many times and while she was trying to improve, Tanya couldn't help but feel she could've made a better effort. She wasn't going to let Oleg off that easily though.

"As for the Electivire issue, I know this is going to sound tough, but you have to be more stricter than you are now when it comes to battling. Your pokemon need to be focused and ready to take orders or else bad stuff can happen." Tanya warned compassionately, putting a finger to her chin as she continued to talk. "You're lucky that only happened in this scenario, but what if you lose control of your Electivire at a key point, such as that time we were battling those people in Marvo City. That could be the difference between victory and defeat. I guess what I'm saying is, be careful Oleg. I don't want you to lose a battle due to lack of discipline cause that would suck."

Now that she got that out of her system though, she smiled. Now that the serious stuff was over with, they could move on. "You wanna come with me to the Infirmary? We could chat and stuff."

Oleg scratched the back of his neck at the faint lecture, but eh. He deserved it, and he was willing to admit that much. But he smiled back at Tanya as she smiled. He then nodded, continuing to scratch the back of his neck awkwardly for a moment. "Yeah, sure. Get our pokemon healed up, maybe talk a little. Good idea."

He then stroked his chin for a moment, pondering as he then turned around, leaving for the infirmary, motioning for her to follow him. It was good to see that she hadn't gotten too angry at him for not controlling Walt.
