We Wants it, We Needs it.
With a small book in hand James waited for the line to the counter to diminish. The line he was waiting in was for his allowance, or so he liked to call it. It was just a sum of money that was taken from what his parents had to pay to enroll him in the Academy. It was pretty beneficial, since he would have something to purchase food and such with. All in all he thought it was a pretty smart idea to do this, since it made it easier on parents who had to send money, or put it into a Credit Card. Slowly the line diminished now, before he got closer and closer to the counter. Before he knew it he was at the counter, and it was his turn to receive his allowance. "Allowance for a Mr. James Wharton please." He said, trying to be as polite as possible to the person at the front desk.

Magic? Magic doesn't exist!
It's just. . . cold, hard cash.

Covering his mouth as he yawned James waited in line. This line he was waiting in for was a familiar one, it was the line for your allowance. Honestly, he'd come early in the morning to avoid getting stuck in these big lines, but it appeared as if some other students had the same idea. Well, no matter, right? Wrong, it was horribly boring, there were various people talking quite loud, and his newly awoken brain just couldn't handle that level of noise with so little sleep. Grumbling slightly he simply waited, constantly looking to see how many people were in front of him. Six, four, two, zero. Finally, he could pick up his allowance and go back to his dorm to sleep, and uh, study, yah study a lot before sleeping. "Allowance for a Mr. James Wharton please." He said in a tired voice, honestly, this was a bad idea after all.

Money, yes, one of the many things he needed to survive at the school. Here the school wasn't going to be supplying stuff like tooth paste and shampoo, as far as he knew at least. And if they did supply it why wouldn't anyone tell him about it? But either way, he needed money for toiletries and such, which was why he was back in this endless line. Honestly, sometimes it felt like forever to get to the front desk for his "allowance." But this time at least he was somewhat prepared, for he brought an Ipod to listen to music with. He had a good pair of ear buds to go along with it, heck, these ear buds even had a little switch like contraption on the cord to let him pause or switch songs. This made the time fly by pretty fast for once, it felt as if he was only in the line for a few minutes this time. "Allowance for a Mr. James Wharton please." He said to the women at the front desk with a pleasant tone.
