[Seria Floria]

Seria invested in a shiny new mining kit. Or excavation kit. She wasn't sure what the right term was. But she finally had one! She had heard from the books and from the other students about a fossil cave where many things could be found. So she quickly made her way to the area and decided to try her hand at mining. She hadn't held a pickaxe in years, since she was young, when her dad made her attempt to try and excavate something in the underground parts of Sinnoh. Unfortunately, Seria couldn't find any fossils - she simply only found a variety of colored shards, Stardust, and other trinkets that the family deemed as useless except perhaps in the event that they wanted to give a birthday present to somebody.

This time, she hoped that would change. She went off to find a good spot to mine - look for the places where shiny stuff looked most likely to be. If a spot is too dense, they may not have good stuff. Spots that sounded too hollow were unlikely to hide more than gems and ores. Seria had to do her best.

Seria casually made her way back to the mines again and took with her the excavation kit again. She needed to get her mind of things once again and mining was one of those activities you could focus on and put all your attention on and you'd be fine, you'd probably forget the other things you were thinking about. She took the pickaxe in hand and returned to the last spot she explored the last time she was here. She took aim and started the process of mining. Her technique hadn't faltered despite it having been a year or so since her last excavation gig, and she was still wont to use the brush to try and dust off any stray dirt in the particular spot she was digging or picking at. To be honest, this was one of the things she was probably rather good at, at least in terms of actually performing the excavation.

What she would end up finding, however, is a totally different story.
