[Seria Floria]

Seria sat at a tree stump at a clearing that was very easy to find - in fact, signs led to it. It was a common spot for people to hang out, mostly alone or on dates or smaller group outings. Seria looked around and sighed, she then turned her gaze up to the sky and thought back to the message she sent to Amanda. Please come to Mother Edea's Forest. I'll be sitting at a tree stump at the main clearing of the forest. Signs will lead you there. I want to talk to you because I'm very worried about you, honey. If there's anything I can do to make you feel better, I'd love to hear it from you... Seria fidgeted and looked down on the ground. Her Liepard was curled up by her feet, and Seria was stroking her fur.

"I'm really worried about Amy, Severa, you know? She's been on edge recently. I think something at that Mavro City defense really did a number on her." Seria fidgeted. "I need to talk to her... I need to make sure she's alright."

On her lap, Seria held a flask. The flask contained some honey water she made herself. She would treat Amanda to some when she showed up.

Amanda walked through the forest briskly, her Hariyama following her confidently. Despite being willing to meet Seria with her busy schedule, Amanda was admittedly in a bit of a bad mood at being called away from school like this. She had studies, and her Pokemon had a training session lined up. Seria could have waited, yet she had been so insistent on meeting now.

Perhaps all of this relationship stuff was getting a bit overdone. At first it had been lovely, rose colored and pleasant and warm all the time, full of surprises and walks in the park. Now, Amanda was starting to feel like it was drawing her away from the increasingly important things she needed to do.

As she entered the clearing, she waved politely. ''Yes, Seria, you called me?'' Amanda queried.

Seria usually was happy to see Amanda during these times, but right now, she was concerned, and the aura she felt from Amanda when she arrived wasn't a very pleasant one. Perhaps she had called at a bad time after all. She scratched her head sheepishly and looked with grave concern at Amanda. None of that chirpy bullshit this time. "Hey, look, I apologize if I've disturbed you or if this is a bad time, but I'm very worried about you. You've been acting pretty weird recently, and I'm pretty sure it's got everything to do with what went down at Mavro," Seria said, fidgeting with her hands. "I know you care a lot about your studies, and trying to get better, and everything, but something tells me that the battle before affected you in a very toxic way. I'm just concerned." Seria stood up and gave Amanda the flask of honey water. Severa, her Liepard, walked sheepishly beside her.

"If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know. I don't want to take up too much if your time if you are so busy, but I really do genuinely care for you. Even if you seem to feel differently about anything now, I still want you to know that I'd do anything for you." Seria said, trying her best not to look too upset over the whole situation.

With a sigh, Amanda rubbed her forehead, tired. She was developing a headache once more, it wasn't the first time it had happened recently. She seemed to get physically ill a lot more recently, as if the stress was getting to her. While she wanted to be annoyed with Seria for dragging her out here for some water, the fidgety way the Nature Girl behaved, and the genuine good intentions of it all did make Amanda falter. She couldn't stay grumpy around her girlfriend, much as she wanted to. Accepting the water, the Kalosian took a quick drink, letting the cool liquid wash down her throat and refresh her. Thankfully, she gave Seria a hug, feeling surprisingly better.

''I'm sorry...'' Amanda whispered.

Seria heaved a sigh of relief upon feeling Amanda's arms around herself once more. Seria responded by bringing the blonde girl closer to her own body. "Amy... I care about you... I really do... I don't want you to suffer and feel pain alone..." Seria whispered softly, her voice wavering as if she wanted to let her emotions out. "I know how tough everything's been... I really don't mind if you've felt angry or mad at me for bringing you all the way out here at such a time. I understand entirely. But as I said... I'd do anything for your happiness. I'd travel to the ends of the world to find something that would make you happy... I really would." Seria said a little bit more loudly, but still, it was akin to that of a sweet whisper. Seria's Liepard playfully purred and tried to nuzzle both Seria and Amanda's legs gently, as if trying to help the two feel better.

If Amanda was mad or annoyed at Seria, the latter didn't care, as long as it made her feel better. Seria could only think of placing Amy's wellbeing before herself right now. It felt like the right thing to do given all that had transpired...

Amanda sighed, although the hug and the affection from the Liepard were lifting her spirits, they didn't entirely erase the problems on her mind.

''I'm sorry Seria...'' she replied, sadly unaware of what she could say. ''I love you, I do... but the problems I have now, I don't know how I can deal with them, and I don't want to bring you down with me...''

She let go off the hug, but still kept her hands interlocked with Seria. Facing the other girl tearfully, Amanda did her best to mask her face with a smile, one that came out seeming sad more than anything else. ''I promise though, once I work this out, we can have so much more time to spend together, alright? I promise...''

Seria looked a bit sad herself, as Amy replied that she still did have feelings for her, but apparently she had really tough problems and was unsure of how to deal with them. She didn't want to subject Seria to them or burden her with them it seemed. As Amy let go of the hug, she still kept her hands interlocked. She tried to smile, but it came out more melancholic and the way she looked so tearful made Seria want to cry, too. Seria simply cared about Amy so much; she just... She just felt so useless. She didn't want to feel useless.

"I understand, dear Amy..." Seria said, gently giving Amanda's hands a reassuring, comforting squeeze. "Your problems must be weighing so much on you right now... But I do want you to know that I don't mind if you use me to vent out your frustrations... I want to be useful to you; I can't stand by and let you suffer alone. I love you too much to stand and watch you be tormented by these problems." Seria finally said.

"I trust you. I believe you'll get through this. I just wanted to let you know that."

Amanda looked down at the ground, unsure of herself. She wanted to be nicer to Seria, perhaps: recently she had been neglecting her girlfriend, that wasn't the right thing to do. Confronted by it, she was feeling worse and worse by the second, and deep down: she knew there was only one way to alleviate that.

''How about this...'' Amanda spoke up, squeezing Serias hands in response. ''I can cancel the rest of my plans for today, why don't the two of us go and enjoy some time together, maybe a nice walk or some dinner, then we can have a sleepover at my place, que pensez-vous?''

It was a small gesture, she knew. The amount of neglect she had shown towards Seria recently couldn't be recovered in a single night. But at the very least, Amanda felt she could try and make things a little better by spending time with her girlfriend while she still could.

Seria tilted her head and smiled brightly and warmly as Amanda began to speak, saying that she could cancel the rest of her plans for the day, and have the two of them enjoy some time together, such as a nice walk or some dinner, before having a sleepover at her place. Seria nodded and sniffled, continuing to have that genuine, sincere but small smile on her face. "Are you sure...? I would love to spend more time with you, dearest Amanda, and I think the idea of a sleepover is just absolutely splendid!" she said, stepping a bit closer to Amy. Severa the Liepard purred happily in approval.

"As long as you're okay with cancelling your plans for today, though. I want to help you feel better, and to feel happy." Seria continued. She wondered why Amanda had suddenly brought it up, but Seria wasn't complaining. If her girlfriend was alright with dropping her prior commitments just for today, then she guessed it wouldn't hurt. After all, she could spend tomorrow to catch up, or if she wanted to study, Seria could offer to help her out later in the evening.

Yeah, that sounded absolutely heavenly.

The cheerful display Seria presented made Amanda feel relieved, somewhat. The young girl hugged her girlfriend tightly, suddenly rather thankful for the emotional support. It was strange, despite her desire to alienate everyone and push towards what she felt was important, Seria: continued to like her and want to spend time with her. That wasn't something she felt she should ignore.

Attempting to lighten the mood, somewhat: Amanda playfully prodded the other girl on her shoulder, musing on what they could possibly do. ''Well then, ma petite fleur... what would you like to do now? Anything you want, we can do it.''

Seria blushed slightly as she felt Amy's arms around her, and in return Seria wrapped her arms around Amanda to hug her tight. Seria wanted to offer the girl as much emotional support as she could. If the Wave dormer was busy then so be it, Seria would find other ways to keep her focused and calm when tending to her duties. Seria wasn't sure how, but she felt that supporting Amy in whatever she did could help her be the 'perfect' (emphasis on quotes) girlfriend. Then, Amanda seemed to playfully prod Seria on her shoulder, asking her what she would like to do.

Looking deeply and intensely at Amy with a warm smile, Seria said "Let's go out for a date at a cafe, and then after that I want to give you a nice massage, or something of the sort. How's about that?" Seria suggested happily.

Amanda blushed at the idea of a massage, nonetheless eagerly nodding at the suggestion. Seria was an attractive enough girl that anything physical felt just a little bit too enticing.

''That sounds like a wonderful idea, Seria.'' The Kalosian replied, resting against her friend. ''I actually know of a nice little cafe not too far from the academy itself, if we hurry, we can make it quite fast, and have the whole day to ourselves!''

Feeling rather giddy at the prospect of a date, Amanda quickly kissed Seria on the cheek, keeping an arm wrapped around the other girl as she urged them foward. Hopefully, she could make up for a lot of things she had done wrong.

Seria smiled as the Kalosian replied positively, exclaiming that it was a wonderful idea. The Nature dormer enjoyed the feel of her girlfriend resting against her, who then proceeded to say that she knew of a nice cafe that wasn't far from the Academy, and that they could go there to have a whole day to themselves if they made it fast enough. Seria was about to speak but was happily silenced by the feeling of Amanda's lips quickly pressed against her cheek. Seria wrapped one of her arms tenderly around Amanda in response as she began to move forward with her.

"That's great! Then, please lead the way, ma peche~" Seria said, gently and subtly nuzzling against Amanda as they began to move on forward to get to that cafe.
