It wasn't soon after his arrival that Argent caught wind of a Tournament for beginners. It seemed like a wonderful idea except the rules say that at least three Pokemon must be present to participate. Well this was no good for the lover boy as he only had two, his Growlithe and Feebas. He needed to find another friend to help him in the tournament or else he couldn't join the fun. Think of all cute boys he would miss out on if he didn't sign up! Failure was not an option although with his luck it might as well be. Argent thought it a cute idea if he were to catch a feline Pokemon to compliment the dog and fish he already owned. Argent set out into the garden in search of a new friend. Even if he didn't find what he was looking for, at least his Pokemon could get some training.
Pokemon team: Growlithe and Feebas
Wanted pokemon: Anything of the feline persuasion would be lovely, especially one of the Normal-Type kitties.

While walking through the garden, a pink and cream creature wandered out into the open. It was an Audino. Argent looked at the Pokemon for a moment, but decidedly walked away. This big eared Pokemon was certainly adorable, but it just wasn't what he was looking for. He also considered the fact that being a new student with new Pokemon, he couldn't just fight any Pokemon that came into sight. And besides, who could hurt such a cute face? There are plenty of fish in this sea so to say, and Argent was intent on discovering what else lied in this garden.

A little further down the trail another rustling in the flowers occurred. A Meowth appeared from the flowers and was looking inquisitively at the boy. Argent's eye lit up. This was it! A little kitty to call his own! He was not going to pass up this opportunity. Argent quickly grabbed the pokeball containing his Growlithe and threw it up. "Go Reginald!" A flash of light from the orb and Reginald appeared in the meadow. The Growlithe leered and snarled at the Meowth which frightened it and made it slightly pensive. "Reginald! Flamethrower!" The Growlithe took a deep breath and released a stream of fire from his mouth. The Meowth hissed angrily at the pain, and quickly retaliated with his claws that seemed to glow a light purple. Reginald yelped but sprang back from the cat Pokemon. "Reginald, finish this with a Crunch!" The the fire pooch snarled and lunged at the Meowth, sinking his teeth into the Pokemon's leg. The Meowth cried out and fell to the ground fainted. Argent had a tinge of remorse for being rough with the kitty, but at least he accomplished what he came here for, at least, he completed half the job. The boy then grabbed an empty Academy Ball and tossed it towards the Meowth. Another quick flash and the Meowth was sucked into the sphere. With the ball rocking back and forth, Argent was nervous to see if his hard work would pay off. He could only wait.
