Coming back to the island wasn't exactly on Sonia's list of things to do. She had originally chosen to go back to the castle once more, yet instead came here. Perhaps the girl simply wanted to give this island another chance? There may have been more Pokemon that would be worth looking for here. Hopefully, anyway. The girl didn't need a repeat of a failed attempt at finding anything that she wanted. Sonia preferred to get right into the action rather than waste a bunch of time looking around. Plus, she would rather have another addition to her ever-growing team rather than coming out empty-handed.

The island seemed to house many dangerous looking Pokemon. Many of them were big and tough looking, or just outright creepy. Sonia chose to take great care when walking around for this reason. Though she couldn't see all that well, the girl made sure to watch all of her blind-spots. Yet, the first thing she ran into wasn't something she was particularly expecting. Walking across her path, a small feline Pokemon simply walked past Sonia without so much as a care. The girl really couldn't describe what she was seeing. The Pokemon was full of itself, perhaps? Either way, it walked past Sonia without so much as a care. Sonia did the same and continued walking onward.

Continuing onward a bit more, the girl ran into what seemed to be a crocodile that stood upright. It was rather intimidating looking from here, the way it glared at the girl. The way it looked at her put a weird feeling in her stomach. Something about it made her want to catch it though. The girl sent out her Pupitar Belka, ordering an attack. Belka, open with Stone Edge! Hurdling a few rocks down on the target, the enemy Pokemon seemed to be somewhat damaged. It would seem that the attack wasn't as powerful as intended though. Perhaps that intimidating look lowered Belka's will to attack? The croc Pokemon retaliate with a bite that did a bit of damage, but nothing too serious. Sonia knew that this battle might take a bit of time if it dragged on like this. She could send in reinforcements, but what was the fun in that? Belka could handle this. She had faith.

Belka, Stone Edge again! Another flurry of rocks were sent at the croc, but wasn't too strong as shown before. The croc didn't switch its tactics either. Instead, it went in for yet another bite, dealing some more damage. Belka was still going strong though. He should be able to overpower this thing. All she needed to do was get it in a place where it couldn't resist the attacks. Belka, Stone Edge from above! Getting a bit of air, Belka pounced down onto the Krokorok, leaving it prove after the hit. Rather than scrambling away, the wild Pokemon took this opportunity to bite back. Of course, this was what Sonia had hoped. Now, finish it off while it's completely vulnerable! One more Stone Edge! With a critical hit to the wild Pokemon's center, Belka finished off an otherwise tough opponent to deal with. Nice job. With a smile, the girl returned her successful Pokemon and tossed a ball at the downed Krokorok. She had a feeling this thing would be a monster once trained right.
