Since her last encounter with a seahorse had been well, she had decided to get some training in for her Gastly. The gassy ghost was floating beside her as she wanted to be outside of her Pokeball. It seemed as if she didn't want to be inside a Pokeball and that she loved being outside, enjoying the fresh air while they were going to the pier. That same pier was where she had caught her Skrelp and he had evolved already which meant that Morticia had to train too. The gassy ghost seemed to like the quietness of the pier since no one was around except her and her trainer. Stopping at the edge of the pier, Alice took out her old rod and casted a reel, hoping to find a suitable opponent for her Gastly. And that opponent might some kind of fish that she had casted some weeks ago prior to catching Morgan.

The old rod had a bite and the reel had casted some kind of blue tadpole with a swirl in front. The Pokedex had identified the strange creature as a Poliwag. The female tadpole could be a good punching bag for Morticia and it was best that she get the experience either way. "Morticia, use Shadow Ball!" The gassy ghost manifested a dark orb of ghostly energy and fired it at the Poliwag. The female Poliwag cringed in pain and blew out bubbles at the ghost. Morticia seemed to grimace in pain as the bubbles hit her, but waited for her trainer's next order. "Again, use Shadow Ball!" The gassy ghost manifested another dark orb of ghostly energy and fired it at the Poliwag. The blue tadpole cringed in pain, but continued to blow bubbles at the ghost. The gassy ghost grimaced in pain again, but nonetheless waited for her next order.
"Use Shadow Ball again!" Morticia manifested another dark orb of ghostly energy towards the Poliwag. The blue tadpole cringed in pain and felt exhausted. She blew out some more bubbles which made the gassy ghost grimace again as the bubbles hit her. "One more Shadow Ball should finish this!" The gassy ghost manifested another dark orb of ghostly energy and fired it at the Poliwag. The blue tadpole's eyes widened as the orb managed to hit her and she fell to the ground, unconscious from the fight. "Good job, Morticia. You did great." The gassy ghost smiled and looked over at her opponent. At that point, Alice decided that she would just leave the Poliwag there. The trainer and her ghost returned to the dorm afterwards.
Fought the Poliwag without catching it.
