"Are you sure this is where you found those flowers?" C.B. asked Madder, who nodded vigorously. The spot in question was surprisingly devoid of the same flowers from way back then, nor there were any shrubs or weeds for that matter, leaving only a cracked, oddly-shaped rock covered in moss.
The Trainer sat down on the ground and fiddled with her PDA. While the map of the area was accurate enough, with the landmarks matching those she had written down in her notes, the plant in question was oddly missing. So was Madder. Huh, what? Again?
"Where are you, Madder?"
