It's a Date
As the cashier placed the muffin inside the paper bag James took some change out of his pocket, before placing it upon the counter. "That should cover it." He said, before the man counted the various coins he was handed. Satisfied he placed all the coins in the cash register, before James took his bagged muffin and went to take a seat at table. The table he sat at was small and was right by the window, it had two chairs around it, besides the one he was sitting in of course. Somewhat eager to start eating his Muffin he carefully slipped his hand into the paper bag, before pulling out a muffin. The muffin he had ordered was Pumpkin spice, which might be obvious due to the various pumpkin seeds scatted along the top. Besides that the other noticeable detail there was some cream on the top of the muffin that most likely lead to a small chamber full of filling.
Carefully breaking off part of the muffin he began to nibble at it, before thinking over his plans for the rest of the day. Once he got back to school he would check if there was any homework to do, and see if he a email from his Island Navigation teacher. Besides that he would probably just chill in the lounge for his dorm, sit on the couch and watch some Tv with other people, and maybe do some talking. Yeah, that sounded like a plan, as if needing to confirm his thoughts he gave a small nod as he nibbled the last bit of the chunk he had broke off. Going back for some more of his muffin he broke off another chunk from the top, before he began to happily eat his Pumpkin Spice Muffin.

The living sarcophagus followed her as they made their way into a shop where various pastries were on sale, but she wasn't hungry, not yet anyway. The Cofagrigus looked around as she tried to make some sense of the modern shop, considering that she actually lived as a human once or something. Those people inside wouldn't mind a living sarcophagus floating beside her trainer, would they? And there was the Nature Dorm boy that she met during that Pikachu mission. She did remember his name, but the Cofagrigus beside her wasn't introduced yet. She walked over and took a seat while Nefertiti just stood beside her trainer, somewhat playing the role of bodyguard for a while. "Hi James. It's been a while. And this is Nefertiti, my Cofagrigus." The living sarcophagus waved her shadowy hands as if she greeted with a hello to the boy.

Oh, splendid he had some company. Moving the half eaten muffin chunk away from his mouth he looked up to see who had come. And it was that girl from the Pikachu mission, interesting, it was nice to see a familiar face. Beside her was, one of the creepiest things he'd ever seen. It was a floating and ghostly sarcophagus. Of everything Alice had to have out, it was a Pokemon that was basically a possessed human object. There wasn't really anything bad with that per say, but he simply found Pokemon that possessed human objects creepy. And this, this was no exception, and it waving its hand at him made things look creepier. He didn't want things to be awkward though, so he didn't stare at the Pokemon, and simply turned his attention to Alice as she introduced her companion.
"Ah, that's neat. So uh, hi, how're you doing these days?" He said, before he tried to remember the girl's name. Honestly, he was horrible with names sometimes. The other kid's name on the mission was Richard if he was correct? Trying to remember the girl's name all he could remember was that it started with an A. Anna, Amanda, Alexis, Amber? None of those seemed to ring a bell with what her name could be, so he simply waited for an answer from the girl. While thinking of her name of course, because it would be odd if he didn't remember, or know, her name while he talked to her.

"I'm doing okay. I'm mostly training some of my Pokemon for future battles. How about you?" Maybe James did anything new after that mission, but she could probably ask that after she got a response. And that mission did not make sense at all, considering that this was actually Koffing and Weezing. Yet, those Poison types were required to be caught anyway and the little boy was happy. Next time, maybe there would be another Pokemon that a person wouldn't mistake it for another though she did learn something from the mission. Nefertiti didn't know why James acted kind of standoffish towards her. Maybe it was because of her appearance that gave off a creepy vibe? Well, ghostly sarcophaguses were not something you don't see everyday, judging by how objects possessed by ghosts were the most creepy. And if she recalled correctly from that mission, it seemed as if James had a Ghost type with him too.

So, she was training for future battles, that was interesting. He should probably do the same, considering how weak his Pokemon are compared to what some other students probably have. "I'm doing alright, just been wandering out the island." He said, as to answer her question. Honestly that was basically what he did, besides coming to places like these and getting something to eat. There was studying of course too, but that was something to be expected of him and would probably be average for students. Honestly, it would be pretty stupid to not study for his classes, and that especially went for a school like this.
Deciding to go back to munching on his muffing he brought the half eaten chunk back to his mouth. It was pretty tasty if he had to be honest. He loved the taste of Pumpkins, so that probably had to do with his love for this type of muffin. Having finished his small chunk he decided to talk to the girl some more. "You done any other missions since our last one?" He said, before he broke off another piece of his muffing. This one had some cream on it, which made it even tastier as he began to nibble on it.

"I think I'll be taking the Mawile mission soon. I do have some strong Pokemon to take out Steel types and Nefertiti would probably help out with clearing out the non-objective Pokemon too." From what she heard about this Pokemon, they were common in one of the Lava Dorm areas, but somewhat hard to find due to the other Pokemon inhabiting those areas too. She hadn't been to the other Lava Dorm areas yet except for Mount Magmadyne where she had caught her Druddigon there. Maybe those other areas might have some interesting Steel types there too since they probably make their home in one of the caves. Nefertiti looked around where there were a bunch of people eating at one of the tables. A couple sitting at one of the tables had stared at the living sarcophagus in which Nefertiti didn't mind the attention she was getting. Except that people might be scared of a ghost possessing a human object, but that was okay.

Interesting, so she was planning to take on the Mawile mission. He had seen it on the mission board, it was something he would take if he had the requirements for it, but he didn't, or so he thought, so he left it. "Cool, cool, I've been thinking of taking that Muscle Festival mission myself. I'll probably be signing up for it when I go back to school. But uh, what'll you do if the Mawile got accomplices that aren't, you know, Mawile?" He asked, pretty sure that the takers for that mission would come across more than Mawile. After all, they had come across more then "Pikachus" on their mission, so they might come across more than Mawile there. It could be on their way there, or once they're there.

"I think I'll have some of my stronger Pokemon like my Dragalge take care of those accomplices. Steel types usually have a secondary type like Rock or Ground. Anything that is only Steel type, my Lampent and Larvesta can take care of that too." Maybe those accomplices might have other typings, so ghosts might be able to pierce this defense. It would make sense that those Mawile might have Steel type accomplices, so she might have to catch one for a Strength user. They might come in handy for exploring that cavern in one of those restricted areas and possibly, she might find some rare Pokemon that are found more commonly there. And some Steel types like Aron were useful for beating Fairy types since she had read that fairies were often weak to steel. Nefertiti was looking around the shop and noticing that a few people had been looking at her, almost like as if a living sarcophagus was part of a freak show they were watching.

Stronger Pokemon, like her Dragalge, seemed perfectly reasonable to bring her Dragalge. Unless there was some source of water he doubted that should could properly use him, unless she wanted him to basically drown while they fight. "Err, you are aware that Dragalge need water to, like, move. We are thinking of the same Pokemon, right?" He said, not quite sure if they were simply thinking of different Pokemon, or if Alice was slightly crazy. The only small and still outrageous idea that she might have to use it would be to have a Pokemon use Rain Dance, which would still be a bad idea. Still, that didn't stop him from enjoying his muffin. He simply continued to nom on the small chunk, which was about half way down now.

"I think they might need water, but I am sure that he would be able to breathe without water, I suppose. And I think we just thought about the same Pokemon." She wasn't sure if Morgan could actually breathe when there was no water, but she was sure that he was able to breathe without being underwater as a Skrelp. Logic had to be the bane of her train of thought here, but sometimes she knew that some Pokemon defied logic anyway. Like some ghosts had telekinetic powers and are able to pick up objects with or without Psychic. She actually wondered if Nefertiti was able to do this with Psychic since she had learned the move. It seemed that the female Cofagrigus had a vast movepool other than her normal moves which was useful for defeating opponents that had a different type than her. Water Pokemon can be covered with her Energy Ball and some other types that were weak to Psychic can be useful.

"Huh, interesting. Well, what are you planning to do with the rewards?" He said, recalling something about some orbs. He that items that were to be held by Pokemon cost quite a hefty fee from the market at school, and it didn't appear as if anyone in town sold them. It was a real shame, but maybe if he talked to the Headmaster he could see about lowering the prices for students. Heck, if there was a student council they could get a say in lowering them, right? Did they get a say in what was done at the school? Maybe not, maybe they just enforced rules and helped make fundraisers and all that jazz.

"I think I can use the items for Facade's power to double. I assume you only get one of those, however. They might be useful in future battles when the opponent has gained the upper hand." The rewards in the Mawile mission might be useful since there were given out as a inexpensive reward for finding the gaggle and also they were actually expensive in the school's store. Maybe she could put that to good use with a Pokemon that knew Facade, but virtually any Pokemon can learn it except certain ones. She hadn't figured out what a Metronome does, but she assumed that it chooses a random move for whomever was holding the item. Maybe the toxic orb might be good for certain Pokemon that can benefit from the poison or the flame orb might be good for some Pokemon that benefitted from being burned. She hadn't found any use for the Metronome, but it can be assumed that a Pokemon holding this item could have a bit of luck using a powerful move.

She could use the rewards to double Facade's power, interesting, kinda. He wasn't too sure whether or not she was talking about a move, or a Pokemon. Honestly, people with their strange names these days. And speaking of names he still had yet to remember the girl's name. Amanda, no, Arnald, no that's a boy's name. Maybe Amethyst? Nah, that's a name of some type of gem, and who would ever name their daughter that? He really needed to remember her name, or just make sure he didn't use it. Either way though, he was simply deep in thought now, which was probably a bad thing. Snapping back into reality he decided to get the Facade business out of his head. "So uh, is Facade a name for your Pokemon or no? Cause it kinda does, and kinda doesn't, but not in an offensive way or anything." He said, hoping Alice wouldn't take that statement the wrong way.

"I was actually talking about a move. The toxic orb might be useful with a Pokemon that has the Poison Heal ability. The mission might have Mawile only though since it's called the Mawile mission because of that." Some Pokemon had this useful ability and only one she could think of was Breloom, the evolution of Shroomish. She figured that Breloom could be quite useful for fighting off those Dark types and had a good attack stat to boot. Plus, all those annoying Steel types can be defeated by those fighting type moves and it was only a matter of time before the next tournament would even be announced. Speaking of which, she just wondered how did James do in the tournament. It was best not to ask as he might have an embarrassing loss or something, so the next time, she could try to train some of her base form Pokemon. "So, do you think they might have Fighting type Pokemon in that Muscle Festival mission?" Even if she needed a Fighting type, she wanted one that had a skinny body and no muscles. She had thought that muscles were equal to intelligence and that nothing was better than the other. Meanwhile, Nefertiti had looked at the pastries curiously while some other people had ignored her.

The mission might only have Mawile? It was possible, but there was a very slim chance of that happening if he was correct. On their way to the Mawile there would most likely be some type of Pokemon they weren't expecting, but that was their problem. He tried to warn Alice, so it would be her fault if she didn't take his warning before starting her mission. Pushing side those thoughts now James simply listened to the rest of what Alice had to say, which wasn't much. "There'll most likely be fighting type Pokemon in the mission, mainly cause of the location and the objective. But that's just an assumption, there might be birds and normal types there as well, won't know until I experience it for myself." He said, before bringing his muffin up to his mouth. Opening his jaws for a moment he moved the muffin somewhat into his mouth, before taking a bite of the delicious Pumpkiny flavour.
