It's a Date [Alice]

”I’m pretty sure Rock and Ground types might be one of the Mawile’s minions for the Mawile mission. It’ll be handy if I had some more of those Fire or Ground types for those Mawiles as they would give some of my other Pokemon a hard time beating them." She did have a Grass type on hand in case there were other cohorts that the Mawile might have. Two Fire types were not enough to actually beat the Mawiles into submission, but maybe catching some more Ground types might be a good idea for some diversity in handling those tricky Steel types. On the other hand, Mawiles were incredibly weak on the special defense side, making it easier for fire to take it down. The living sarcophagus might be a good idea to bring along since she had both the defenses and the special moves to back her up if the Mawiles get rowdy for some reason. Most of the people that went to this pastry shop had been busy with other matters lately, but continued to stare at Nefertiti with curiosity.

"Yah, probably would."  He said, before taking a large chunk off of his muffin.  This piece had some of the cream goodness on it, which tasted fantastic as he bit into it.  It didn't take him long to finish that chunk, and he noticed that his muffin was quickly dissipating, and at this rate he would be finished with it in no time.  Maybe he should order some launch after Alice was gone, or maybe order some while she was here.  If she was hungry he'd probably grab some launch, since, glancing at his watch, it was around one already.  Phew, time sure was flying by.  "So, you got any other new buddies since our last meeting?"  He said, not quite sure if he'd asked this question before.  If he did, oh well, if he didn't all the better.  He wasn't quite sure as to how to continue the mawile topic, so this would work just fine.

”Well, since our last meeting, I had captured a Gastly, a Misdreavus, that Venonat from the mission, and hatched a Larvesta. I think those are my new buddies I got afterwards. What about you?” Seems like Nefertiti might need some more company, so she released her Misdreavus outside where she joined the ghostly sarcophagus in people-watching. It was apparent that James couldn’t actually keep doing the Mawile conversation, so the topic was switched. She had been working on evolving some of her Pokemon since they were not yet strong enough to take down some of the stronger Pokemon that the next mission might have. Her Misdreavus had gotten some training in, but she had to have some time training her new Gastly for this mission. Actually, everyone had an equal amount of training so far, even her own Litwick and for some reason, she had not used her Masquerain much. Perhaps, he would be used at another time like in battles where type coverage would have to be good for something. For now, the Mawile mission was definitely going to be harder than the Koffing mission since there would mostly be semi-evolved Pokemon and the Maawiles themselves.

"I believe the only new ones I got are a Girafarig and a Bunnelby.  Oh, and I got a Kangaskhan egg, although that's being looked after for me at the moment."  He said, recalling how he had entrusted his Pokemon with keeping it nice and warm for the day.  Usually he would bring his Pokeballs to town if it seemed right, but the Kangaskhan egg needed the warmth of some of them.  So he simply left most of them back at his dorm room.  Thankfully he didn't have a room mate, because they might complain about him having most of his Pokemon out.  "But yah, I also got a Koffing from the mission."  He said, recalling how he was hoping for the Serviper, but Richard had already taken it.  It was all cool though, since he still got something form the mission.

"I believe I had captured a Venonat from the mission as well. Sounds like a good bunch of Pokemon you got there." The mission had an interesting bunch of Pokemon and the Venonat had been nice to her since he had been captured. Maybe all Pokemon that evolved into moths were actually the nice guys she apparently liked to be around with. Meanwhile, the gray ghost and the living sarcophagus continued to watch people, unaware that their staring would scare away some of those bystanders at the pastry shop. The Mawile mission might have some new buddies she could catch for herself, but she wasn't sure who else would join in on the mission. It sounded like someone was taking care of the Kangaskhan egg that he had mentioned. Seems like the two ghosts were preoccupied with scaring the living daylights out of the bystanders and the people in the cafe. They looked like they were having some fun doing it, but she was a bit concerned that the manager might not like it that much.

"Cool, cool."  He said, before ripping another chunk off from his muffin.  So far there only looked like there would be a good two more chunks he could take from his muffin, before it was all gone.  That was perfectly fine, since he knew it wasn't going to last forever.  But he had to admit, it was one damn good muffin.  He was probably going to come back to this pastry place again in the future, possibly around Halloween they might have more pumpkin products.  And maybe around Christmas they would have Christmas themed food.  A ginger bread cookie would be real good, or maybe another product that was Christmas themed.  "Sooo, you in any after school clubs or anything?"  He asked, curious as to what clubs there might be.  To be honest he hadn't looked very closely at many clubs, so maybe there was one he liked, and would join.

”Well, I did join the Poiemon Contest club, but I don’t think you might be interested in having your Pokemon up on stage.” Maybe James did not have an interest in dressing up Pokemon to be dazzling since she probably knew that he was more of a battling type. She hadn’t joined in any more clubs that might pique her interest since there was only this club, but maybe some new ideas might form some clubs that she never heard about. The two ghosts had been having fun scaring some of the customers there and it looked like they actually shared the same interests. Maybe she could introduce her Venonat sometime later since he was recently caught and was probably timid around strangers inside the pastry shop. And speaking of which, the bystanders were actually creeped out by the two ghosts and some of them stayed in their seats, paralyzed with fear.

Heh, a Pokemon contest club.  He had to admit, it didn't sound too interesting, which she guessed correctly on her part.  There were hopefully some other clubs besides that one that might pique his interest, maybe a swimming club?  That would be interesting, as long as he didn't have to dive into freezing water, or get soaked before he went in.  If that was the case it might not be fun, or that just might make it a whole lot more fun.  Only time could tell, but now he simply took a bite off the chunk of his muffin he had ripped off earlier.  It tasted pretty good, and took him only a short amount of time to eat.  "So, what do you do exactly, in the contest club?"  He asked, curious as to how they might prepare themselves for contests between each other, or other schools.

”In the Pokemon Contest club, I think we have a lecture on what contests are and what kind of appeals we do. I think the first meeting might have us do our appeal, so I might give some of my Pokemon some training for a contest.” She was positive that Nefertiti had not been in a contest before, but the living sarcophagus might have to try doing an appeal of her own. Some of her Pokemon could be used for contests as well and she planned to have some of her Pokemon that had pretty appearances to participate in one. She still had to study up on what kind of appeals do the judges look for in a Pokemon’s display of moves, but it was dependent on what category she was going to enter and some moves might have different effects. There might be a different club that piqued her interest, but so far there was no clubs forming at this moment.
