It was a known fact that Benji hated heights, actually he was terrified of them. So why was he climbing this gigantic steep mountain? He didn't even know for sure. He did want a flying-type, or maybe a fighting-type. But was it worth going up this high? He shuddered at the thought of how high he would have to climb. Telling himself over and over to not look down he just looked straight ahead as he continued to ascend Mount Brave. He sure hoped this was worth it, and hopefully he'd find something useful for his team. Either that or he'd fall off the mountain and die. Yeah, better not look down...that sounds good. With shaky legs he carefully made his way along the narrow and steep path, watching his feet carefully so he wouldn't trip. Though watching them this closely might cause that. With a grunt of frustration he continued up and tried his best to conquer his fears.
Looking for (in order of preference): Skarmory, Hawlucha, Taillow, Meinfoo, Pidgey, Fletchling.

Legs still feeling wobbly, he ignored the twisting in his stomach as he went even higher. The air was starting to thin and he struggled to get good breath in him. Suddenly a small bird landed on a nest next to him, and he nearly lost his balance in surprise. Thankfully he was able to grab on to something and not plummet to his death. Shuddering at the though he glared at the Pidgey. "Y'know you could have killed me right then." The bird just vacantly stared at him and went back to what it was doing. Pidgey was actually a Pokemon he had wanted, and he knew it would be an easy catch. Yet there were other Pokemon here that he wanted even more. He might regret this later, but he could always get a Pidgey later on right? They were rather common. Shrugging, he passed on the bird and traveled even higher. Just remember, don't look down.
Action: Passing even though it was in my preferred spawns *cough*

He hadn't thought it was possible, but he had actually made it to the highest point on Mount Brave. Still not looking down he enjoyed the vast blue sky stretching out above him. The air was thin, but it gave off a nice cool breeze. In the back of his mind he wondered how the hell he'd get down now, since he would be forced to look. Those thoughts were pushed back though when a very colorful bird landed in front of him. Benji recognized it immediately. A Hawlucha. He had wanted one of these so bad, a flying and a fighting type? He had wanted both of those so this would make things much easier. Plus it was a Pokemon he had been interested in so that made things even better.
He didn't say anything, not to scare it away, and released his Pikachu. "Use Thunder," he said quietly, and just then the bird noticed them. It was a tad too late though as Finn let out the enormous shock and it hit the Hawlucha hard with a loud zapping sound. The bird wobbled slightly but was still able to stand. With a cry of rage it flew forward and hit Finn hard with a Karate Chop. "Finish it off with a thunderbolt." Finn let out another shocking attack and this time the bird wasn't able to withstand it. After it swayed back and forth a few times it fell to the ground out cold. "Well, that was easy." Benji said with a laugh and tossed a Pokeball at it. Easy part was done, now...actually getting off of this mountain would be the hard part.
Action: Attempted catch.

Thankfully the bird didn't try to fight back and the ball clicked loudly, signaling the Hawlucha was caught. "Yes!" Benji said happily as he scooped the ball up and placed it on his belt with the others. This would be a nice addition to his team, now he could teach it Fly and maybe travel to that floating castle. First though he'd need to get off this mountain. His stomach twisted with fear but he just put on a strong face and made his way down. Hopefully he would make it in one piece. Just don't look down...don't look down.
