Adolfina had a full set of six Pokemon now, but that was not enough for the girl. Nope, no sir. This blonde had plans, and the plans required many, many Pokemon. She wasn't going to skip the collection process, even if it took a long time. The girl made her way onto the thunder plains. Lightning rods absorbed lightning, as they should, but the girl was not there to observe nature and man's progress in the face of it. No, she was there to search for and capture new additions. She was running a little low on balls, but she doubted she'd find two good picks in one trip. The probability was just too low. All in all, though, she was hopeful that something of note would appear.

And, if not, she'd just keep at it until she did find something she needed.

After some time on the plains, the girl realized that her search was not exactly going that well. Very few things had actually appeared before her. The ones that did were typically far off and quick to run or hide. Eventually, though, a quadruped that seemed to give precisely zero cares pranced through the opening. The girl was half-ready to fight it. Or, at least, she was until the striped thunderhorse sped into a lightning rod and was shocked. It seemed fine, though. Albeit still eager to continue rubbing against the rod. Right. Seemed like the best course of action was to proceed. . . in another direction entirely. Somewhere far away.

Nodding, the blonde proceeded forward at a ninety degree angle of her original path. Time to get away. Far away.

Eventually, a little rat appeared. Yellow with rosy cheeks, plus some oddly-shaped ears, the rat was interesting. Definitely electric, going by the color scheme. Electric types were weak against Ground-type moves, so there was only one way to go about this. Grabbing a ball, she released Limos. The Trapinch opened her massive maw and let out a low growl. Yes, there was only one way something like this could end- with their total and complete victory!

Battle Start!

”Limos, use Earthquake!” The muncher lifted her head high before slamming it to the ground, causing a tremendous shaking of the earth! The damage seemed to be extraordinarily effective, as the rat fell forward. In one shot, the rat was done. While the girl had been sure they'd win, she didn't expect a one-punch-done scenario. Well, whatever. Throwing an empty ball, she awaited the rat to be hers.

”I'm not sure if I should praise you or slander our opponent. It really could go either way, as I see it, right now.” The blonde noted, oddly without vocabulary errors, as the ball clicked, signifying the true end of the conflict. Yes, they had won. Just like that. In one shot. That was exceptionally. . . lackluster. Well, a win was a win, and they had, in fact, won, so all was well. For the most part. Whatever the case, the blonde made her way over to the ball and slipped it into her waist pouch before pulling out the ball for the Trapinch.

”Either way, you did do well. So there is that. The next battle could be different, though, so don't get cocky.” And, with that, she returned Limos. Now it was time to consider her options. Return, or go further?
