Adolfina had arranged for a new, better set of fishing gear, and was prepared to try it out. Given that she wasn't too worried about what she caught today, she was more there to test the gear out and to give a Pokemon some more battle experience. She was in a good mood, overall, thanks to recent events. It would really have taken something ridiculous to ruin her good cheer. And it wasn't like some strange group of terrorists was going to appear in the near future to ruin everything, so the chances of her mood falling was actually very small, for what seemed like the first time in a good long while. +2 to Mareep Egg +2 to Larvitar Egg +2 to Eevee Egg +2 to Cottonee Egg ^--- Flame Body Volcarona Preferred Spawns (in order of want) Staryu Horsea Magikarp Feebas |

While Adolfina wasn't exactly expecting much from her first attempt at the new fishing location, the flipping, flopping catch she found certainly fell short of her expectations. It was just. . . very pitiful. Exceedingly pitiful. It was worse than pitiful. She could kick this Pokemon into submission on her own. Naturally, however, she was not. Rather than doing that, she released her Sliggoo, Felix, and stared forward with a rather bored, even sleepy, expression.
"Dragon Pulse." It was a wonder that the slime dragon's burst of dragonic energy didn't just turn the Magikarp into fish fry, but the (slightly smokey) fish remained living. If a bit unconscious. Or, really, completely out cold. Or hot, in this case. Either way, the girl, bored, threw a ball at the fish to capture it. +2 to Mareep Egg +2 to Larvitar Egg +2 to Eevee Egg +2 to Cottonee Egg |

While it was not an extraordinary, or even a reputable, battle, the fact still stood that it was a victory and a victory was a victory, regardless of the means. That was the way things worked in economics- there was no "I'm sorry, I'll do better"; there was only success and failure. No matter her methods, so long as she herself agreed with them, it was a victory. That was why she had absolutely no qualms with utterly stomping that Magikarp. Plucking up the ball and putting it away, she nodded to the Sliggoo before returning him. The trip was over.
Getting her gear together, she began to head on back. +2 to Mareep Egg +2 to Larvitar Egg +2 to Eevee Egg +2 to Cottonee Egg |
