Heading to the Dragon's Den once again, Adolfina felt herself shivering. It wasn't with fear, mind you. No, she was genuinely excited. She had, with the forces she had accumulated, prevailed in the face of actual villains. And, now? Now, she would add to those forces in earnest. While she had captured a few things she really needed already, she knew that the Den would continue to provide more worthwhile additions to her steadily growing army. The largest question that stood? That was simple, really. What would she go for next?
And, even then, it didn't matter too much. It was probably about time for her to snatch up some of those dragons- like the ones that were so complacent that they could simply sleep out in the open. Yes, punishing that lot sounded like a solid plan. Party: Flygon, Whimsicott, Serperior, Quilava, Sliggoo, Goldeen Preferred Spawns: Shellgon, Dragonair, Gabite; all male

Didn't take very long before Adolfina found herself staring down the first potential addition to her team. Dragonair. It was a solidly powerful dragon on its own, but its evolved form, Dragonite, was a good physical offensive agent. Plus, if she captured this one, she wouldn't have to deal with raising the Dratini she caught while fishing. Even though she likely would, just to utilize a different build. Whatever the case, the girl planned on catching it. Sending out Verbti, the smirked. The Quilava had already defeated a Dratini. It was time for a successful fight against a Dragonair.
”Verbti, use Rollout!” While the attack would lock the Quilava up until the attack failed, the fact that the damage would double with each solid impact was enough to justify the act. The Quilava coiled up and rolled into the Dragonair. While the attack was somewhat weak, it would gradually become more powerful. The Dragonair spewed out a surge of its rage at Verbti! The attack was decent, sure, but lacking in overall “kick”. The Quilava, steadily building momentum, circled around and slammed into the Dragonair a second time! In response, the Dragonair fired off a Twister, probably counting on the flinch-chance to slow its target. Verbti took the hit, yes, but didn't slow down in the least! Returning for the third hit, the Quilava slammed into the Dragonair, flinging it back with what seemed to be little difficulty! One more blow would likely finish the opponent. The Dragonair charged up with a serpentine dance. It seemed to plan on using a final-blow-ish move.
Too bad for it, though.
”Finish it, Verbti!” Whether responding to the orders, or simply proceeding on with the attack, the Quilava, having built a ridiculous level of momentum, slammed into the Dragonair and sent it flying at the wall! The Quilava then gradually began to slow down, trying to break the momentum while Adolfina stepped forward and lobbed a ball at the dragon.

”Well done. You're doing very well. I'm pleased with this, Verbti.” Her words could be interpreted simply as positive reinforcement, but there was still a chance that it was genuine praise. Either way, the girl was, in fact, pleased with the tell-tale click of the ball. Victory was theirs, and another powerful, capable Pokemon was within her grasp. Pocketing the ball, the blonde returned to the Quilava's side, petting the Pokemon's head, and stepping on.
”That's enough for all. We can return later for the next capture. You were injured. Walk for me for now. We'll head to the cavern entrance.” The treat of walking with their master was something Adolfina was granting more often. Was she getting soft, or were the Pokemon growing on her?
