Thanks to technicalities with her new VIP card for fishing, Adolfina was able to go fishing again rather soon. Rather than utilizing it as a pastime, like the elderly or those that grew up in rural areas, she was more interested in the battle after pulling something up. Specifically, the part where she caught something that was interesting. Anything less than that- anything other than that- was entirely a waste of her time and her effort. And, considering the first two snips of her line during her last trip, she wasn't entirely sure how long she'd be able to last. What would give out first?
The Pokemon?
Or her patience? Preferred Spawns: Skrelp (if it has a good moveset), Goldeen (with Waterfall or Waterfall+Megahorn)

The blonde sat still for a great while. Had one been watching, they likely would have been able to tell when “resting her eyes” became “resting her body”. When gravity began to tug the girl's body forward, she jerked awake and looked around. Nothing was missing. However. . . as she reeled the line in, she realized the bait was gone. Another one of those things had gotten a free meal. However, at the very least, it was entirely her fault. It wasn't one of the beasts snipping the line and getting away with murder and adultery. Adultery, Fi? Really? No, this time it was her own negligence. With a sigh, the girl set and cast the line again, hoping for a proper bite.
And for her consciousness to remain.

The child sighed to herself and loosened her grip on the rod to straighten her hair. For some reason, she felt that fishing was probably one of the best ways to draw out the absolute worst in her. Truly, though, fishing did not seem to be the sport for her. At all. How did people ever find such a thing relaxing? Just as she gripped her rod, the line grew taut. Half-yanked from her seat and half-standing, she struggled to pull the catch in, but, as it had several times during her first trip, the line snapped. With the lack of resistance, all of her force caused her to fall back, nearly hitting her head on the chair. Laying there, the girl stared at the sky before finally screaming in rage.
After some time had passed, and the girl's screaming scared any birds away, she set her line and cast it out once more.

Adolfina finally yanked something up on the third try. What shot from the water was a horny fish. Deciding it was time to actually use a different Pokemon, the girl sent out the Snivy she had caught during her first outing. The leafy lizard, Lempo, twirled around a few times, as though taking in the surroundings, before stopping and staring at the fish. He had seen hell in the time that had passed since his being captured. Whether it was fear or respect that drove him, the Pokemon was loyal to Adolfina at that point. And, yes, the girl was entirely capable of placing her faith in the Pokemon, despite this being the first major battle she had sent him into.
”Open up with Leaf Tornado!” The girl demanded, and the Pokemon responded without hesitation. A volley of leaves twirled and shot at the fish, slicing into it. In response, the fish tried to use water. Even though the attack seemed pretty powerful, there was no denying the simple fact that Grass-types were resistant to Water-type attacks. As a result, the Snivy had no issues withstanding the attack for the time being. He still seemed plenty fine to go for a bit, and, considering the other moves he had, Adolfina had little doubt that Lempo could triumph, even with this being his debut.
”Heal yourself with its energy. Use Mega Drain!” While not as potent as Diablo's Giga Drain, naturally, the attack still had a good deal of power behind it, and half of the damage it dealt replenished what damage the leaf-zard took. Seeming to think it was a good idea to splash water on the lizard, the fish did just that. It did seem to change something about the Snivy, but, whatever the case, it was not a directly harmful attack. For that reason, there was no need to continue utilizing Mega Drain.
”Back to Leaf Tornado. Attack!” The order rang loud and clear, and leafzard sent out another flurry of leaves. The attack connected, but it did not do the fish in. The fish responded by charging in with its horn. The attack was dangerously powerful, but Adolfina realized something. The splash of water changed the Snivy's type, temporarily, to water. In other words, that Bug-type move wasn't as powerful as it could have been. That meant it was time to finish things before the good graces had expired.
”End it, Leaf Tornado!” A final flurry of leaves cut into the fish before it flopped its last and went out cold. The girl immediately tossed her ball at it to capture it.

The fish was hers. What it could do and what uses it had could be covered at a later time and a later place. For the time being, the girl was just pleased with the fact that a Pokemon she had captured had served so well against another Pokemon. It was good. Puffing her chest out, the blonde hummed a little and twirled on her heels. All was well. She was pleased. Finally directing her attention to the Snivy, she just smiled. The leafzard seemed a little unnerved. That was his problem, though.
”You did well. Good job. Take a break.” She calmly and casually praised him, drawing forth a somewhat confused expression on his face. The girl didn't care what he thought, though. She returned him and put the balls away. With that, she gathered her gear and prepared to head back. She was good and done for now.
