Mana-Style Relaxation [Chris]

Chris found himself chuckling faintly at comment about Midnight being smarter than the ghosts, in a way I guess that's true, since Midnight had to attempt to actually adapt to Dusk's nature, sure Midnight already knew Dusk was strong from their fight before Dusk evolved, but now she knows to be even more careful when pulling a prank, which in reality could also come in useful, given her knack for planning everything out in her head and working out how to qctually get it to happen, and how to get it to work. "Well, Dusk and Midnight having fought before Dusk evolved might also have something to do with it, but in the end i think it's better Midnight learned to adapt to the change, it helped her plan things out better in a way, caused her to better herself, so in the end It was worth the change..." Chris spoke, eventually stopping petting Mammon thanks to Chris's arm getting a bit tired from the repeated action.
Dusk didn't seem to be amused by the ghost's behaviour in any way, shape or form, which was pretty easy for even the untrained eye to actually see, instead her focus was on the Espeon, who she found herself giving an appreciative nod to, as if to make it clear she appreciated Mammon not being aggressive due to Chris's contact with the pokemon.

So it was bird versus... whatever the weavile was (a weasel maybe?) before one of them evolved. Maybe it was one of those dominance battles that pokemon had, or so her dex would tell her when she searched around it randomly. Odd, none of her pokemon ever did that. Not even Belphegor who was convinced he was lord of the world. Actually that may have been it, it wasn't 'world' per say but rather sky and seeing as how she had no other flying types, he probably felt his position was secure. The ghosts were too much like children to really care about hierarchy, else Asmodeus would be leader and not Mammon. Then there was Belias and Belial who had absolutely no interest in it. Then finally Beezlebub and Shiki who were satisfied as long as nothing got in the way of them and their prey. Thinking on those terms Kyrie couldn't help but ask, "Is it only those two? None of my pokemon fight eachother. Unless there's food. Then Beezlebub and Shiki are monsters." Wait, he wouldn't know who those two are.
Mentally flicking herself Kyrie corrected herself, "My durant and poochyena." Common courtesy girl, remember that? It was something you ditched back in your childhood. Meanwhile, Mammon eyed the weavile as she gave him an approving nod. He flicked his tail as if to say 'of course. I'm no barbarian to attack someone who has done nothing wrong to me.' Such a message out of such a little movement but that was how pokemon were. Maybe that's why they got along better than people did. Or maybe that was just Mammon trying to display himself as sensible. Who knew.

A Durant and a Poochyena... well... some variation there, which is never truly a bad thing when you come to think about it and the Poochyena makes sense for a member of the Mana dorm, being a dark type after all. Now then... are they really the only ones that have fought against each other? well... not really, Skorupi has shown that he's quite content merely following orders instead of taking charge, Sol seems to not really care about trying to take charge, and apparently doesn't mind following Dusk's rules and orders, although that might be due to that brutal beating Dusk gave Sol in the past when Sol tried to teleport away... getting beaten like that really can affect if you're loyal or not. "Yeah, Midnight is the only one who tries, my Skorupi seems to be quite content with following orders... While Sol, my Ralts, is quite sensible in the way she never really tries to challenge any of my other Pokémon... although some of that may be due to self confidence, some may just be due to the typing of the rest of my team" Chris replied, mentioning his other two Pokémon in the process, it was fair to do so, given that she'd mentioned the rest of her Pokémon.
Dusk once again gave an appreciative nod towards the Espeon... this 'Mammon' didn't seem to be so bad in Dusk's eyes, then again, she doesn't know the Pokémon all that well, so there could easily be many things she isn't aware of that could dramatically change that opinion.

So that was how it was for his team. Kyrie couldn't help but feel like his team was much more, what was the word... sensible, than hers. In more ways than one. She did note the part where the two other pokemon he mentioned were both ones she actually knew. Amazing, she had seen many a ralts, actually its evolved forms kirlia and gardevoir; do plays and other such things whenever she did manage to leave the house. A psychic type if she remembered correctly but the other... she wasn't sure if the bug was a poison or dark type. People would often tell her the pokemon would be either depending on the evolution (people meaning her parents) but she couldn't remember which types belonged to whom. That and she didn't know the scorpion's evolved form either but that wasn't unusual. But hey, she knew both that were mentioned! Write that one in the history books. At least they were both pokemon she could expect from a fellow Mana Dormer, the place's ominous theme stuck to him almost as much as it stuck to her.
"Is that how it is..?" Then a thought came to mind, if it was based on typing and-or evolution, then Asmodeus had to be the leader. He didn't evolve and was also one of her first pokemon so how in the world did Mammon managed to gain leadership? "Maybe it's the mentality..." The girl mumbled to herself. It was the only thing that made sense. Speaking of Mammon, the espeon returned the nod given to him with his own. This time it was one of respect from hearing the other's story. The weavile sounded like a strong soul in his ears, one who was able to keep her place without much resistance. Except for the murkrow, the bird sounded like Asmodeus and Shiki combined.

So... What now? Guess Chris had never really thought that far ahead about what to say if her attention went elsewhere... Still... Better to keep at it, as Seria said, if he doesn't try, he'll never get past it and he'll be stuck on his own, which at times can be good, but being alone your entire life by choice is just being harsh on yourself, especially when you have a chance for a fresh start, and know what to do to avoid having the past repeat itself. From what Chris could tell, it looked as if Dusk had somehow been silently conversing with the Espeon by slight movements, which in and of itself is quite impressive... Chris had never known Pokemon were so good with sign language when it's the first time using it to speak with another species.
Dusk found herself merely nodding back respectfully, the Espeon showed her respect, so logically it made sense that Dusk was going to respect him, especially since she isn't the disrespectful type of girl.

Now was the time that Kyrie's apparent lack in social skills cued in. She sat there, feeling more awkward the longer the silence lasted. Her only salvation was the other bud that she had left in her ear, still singing out OSTs while her PGS lay on her lap. Mammon was still being petted and the ghosts were playing with the ball still, actually no - Asmodeus had tapped the button and managed to return himself. So it was his ball. Heh, good job ghost boy. Kyrie couldn't help but smile at the sight of Leviathan trying to open the ball. Lacking any actual physical mass, the ghost only sweeped over and rolled the ball around. That continued for a while before the ghost rolled the ball to the weavile, looking up at her with pleading eyes. Why Asmodeus didn't just break out of it like he usually did, Kyrie wouldn't know. Maybe it was a new game for him.
Mammon eyed the ghost as he rolled the trickster around, soon bringing it to the weavile. They both already knew that Mammon wouldn't help, he'd probably just toss the pokemon's capsule in a jar and leave him there until Kyrie needed him. There was also Belphegor but somehow the bat just had this aura of 'bother me and I will blind you' so he was also out of the picture.

Well... that's a first, a Pokémon returning itself to it's own Pokeball on accident, then again, it didn't seem that anyone was really complaining apart from the Shuppet, which in a way wasn't either Chris's or Dusk's problem, plus given the way Dusk seemed to be not amused in the slightest certainly made it easy to understand he hadn't been all that fond of the Sableye's behavior and can you really blame her for that? Anyway, Chris found himself chuckling faintly, seeing that even Kyrie didn't seem to mind the Pokémon being returned to it's Pokeball in such a way.
Dusk merely crossed her arms and gave the Shuppet an icy, piercing glare, after which she placed the ball next to the Ghost Pokémon's trainer, immediately after which Dusk returned to her own trainer, clearly not interested in trying to help the Ghost Pokémon, if the Shuppet wants a way to get it back out, find a way to do so on your own instead of trying to get others to do it for you, it shouldn't really be that hard for a ghost now should it?

Leviathan's face puffed out in a pout as he rolled the ball away from the mean weavile. What was her problem? What happened to helping a fellow pokemon? The shuppet huffed, fading out of existence, leaving the Sabeleye's ball all alone. Then the ball started to float, circling around in the air and hitting against walls and furniture alike in attempts to open in. Alas, Leviathan had no idea how to open a ball since he was either summoned out by Kyrie or Asmodeus.
Kyrie watched as her pokemon hustled in attempts to release the trouble maker, shaking her head the futile attempts. She was about to have Mammon just open the dang thing or return the ghost herself when the ball went straight into Belphgor's corner. That wasn't a good sign. The ball hit against the wall next to the bat, shaking the comfy creature from his spot. Enraged the bat swatted at the ball hard enough to make it hit the ground. Leviathan rematerialized, shaking his head as the bat and ghost began a heated argument.
Their trainer sighed, tapping on Mammon for him to take care of the problem. That of which he was all too happy to oblige. Moving away from the pettings and onto a piece of furniture that was close, the psychic began to glow. Causing his fellow pokemon to glow before the both of them got smacked together like to pieces of wood. Both fell down, dazed. Content with his work, Mammon returned back to his spot. This time laying down and leaning against Kyrie's head as he groomed his head.

Chris merely stayed silent for the moment, watching the situation unfold... interesting... the Espeon certainly knows how to handle that situation, that's for certain. Chris really wasn't sure of what to actually say at this point... what really is there to say?
Dusk didn't appear to have been affected by the pout at all, due to her continuing the glare until the Shuppet decided to disappear... good, at least it's actually thinking about what it can do to try and free the other Pokémon instead of trying to rely on others, which is something one can't always do... people won't always do the job for you, so you have to figure out everything you are capable of doing that could help in the situation. Dusk found herself smirking at first at the whole argument, but when Mammon intervined, she chuckled and found herself smiling towards Mammon for some reason, as if she was once again trying to convey a message... something along the lines of 'well, you certainly have them figured out... well... how to shut them up I mean'. Dusk's smile faded after this though, to try and avoid giving any idea's to the trainers... sure this Espeon seems nice... but why try and force it? Wait... what is Dusk doing thinking about things like that? Did the Psyduck give her the idea to see if she could find someone actually suitable? If he did... that'll make things... interesting, let's leave it at that.

The bickering had been stopped much to the girl's relief and probably the other Mana Dormer's as well. She looked at him to see if now was the time to flee, getting a surprise when the boy merely watched the spectacle unfold. He didn't seem like he was going to say anything about that little show and Kyrie wasn't going to push it. Opting to stay silent.
Mammon flicked an ear back at the chuckle, thinking it to be his trainer but when he turned his head it came from a surprising sight. The weavile who acted so cold before was now smiling at him. Mammon was baffled and honestly a little embarrassed. He huffed, flicking his tail from side to side in a 'they're like a bunch of children and they're all guys so I don't need to worry about my trainer stepping in.' Shiki never caused trouble for the cat so he never had to deal with the only female on his team and thus that left him a whole family of rowdy boys who liked to pick on 'mom' and get kicked in the arse by 'dad'. That's how Mammon thought of it anyway. But then, none of them were much bigger than himself so it felt rather natural to think of it like that. Still, he wondered what it was like having his own littling tagging along with them. Having to throw the boys out of the window if they tried to tease her or if it was a boy then he'd most likely throw him out the window too if it was a troublemaker. An intriguing thought indeed.

Dusk merely chuckled once again, seeming to quickly work out that for some reason the Espeon seemed to be embarrassed, how was he embarrassed though... did... did she embarrass him just then... that's an interesting thought, or maybe he was just surprised or something like that. Dusk let off a faint cry, clearly directed towards Mammon... from what the Espeon would be able to work out, it was along the lines of 'well... that certainly sounds interesting, honestly most of those on my ends are females, the only male being Skorupi... and... why were you embarrassed just then?'.
Dusk then appeared to merely cross her arms, to try and remove any suspicion from the others about what she was speaking about, although there appeared to be a very, very faint smile towards the Espeon, although it'd be quite hard to actually notice, if it wasn't aimed at you anyway.

The weavile's cry was too low for any of the other pokemon except Mammon to hear. Belphegor may had heard it but he was knocked unconscious as of the moment. The espeon flicked on ear in her direction, turning his head slightly to face her. He let out another huff, 'I'm not used to females other than my trainer. I was merely surprised.' His message sounded more like him trying to save himself from looking like a jelly. It was true that he wasn't used to females with the way that Shiki hardly came into contact with him and on top of that Kyrie was a human so that was a whole different thing.
He noted the weavile's faint smile toward, almost not catching it with how small it was. Whether it was out response or some other hidden thing he didn't realize, the espeon found himself smiling at her. Though with the shape of his head, his smile was harder to see by those standing above him or around him.

Dusk found herself chuckling once again, although it was rather quiet. Her smile turned into a smirk as she let off another, equally quiet cry, which said something along the lines of 'that's understandable I suppose, but the way you said that just made it sound as if you were trying to save yourself... But I guess I'll take your word for it'. Dusk was slightly surprised that the Espeon actually smiled back, but instead of showing this, she merely smiled back at him as a response, while internally to figure out what was actually going on inside the Espeon's head, although it wasn't going to well...

He saved himself, or did he? Either way the espeon was keen on not staying on the matter. As if playing on that very thought, the espeon straightened himself and curling his forked tail over his paws. He eyed the female, trying to figure out what was going on in her head. She seemed like a sensible pokemon, one that took pride in keeping order not unlike himself and held herself with a certain fierceness. None of his party were so... what was a good word for it? Strong? Cool? Something along those lines. Either way, the espeon was rather impressed even if he didn't show it outwardly.

So, the Espeon turned silent from that... Well, to each there own, Mammon doesn't have to speak if he doesn't want to, or maybe he's just thinking... Or maybe other things are going on in it's mind, still, better not to pry, that wouldn't be nice, and would possibly draw some aggression. Dusk found herself chuckling faintly to herself upon noticing the way the Espeon was eyeing her... He was trying to work out her thoughts that way since psychic wouldn't be any good here thanks to Dusk's dark typing. About the Espeon though... In many ways, he seemed just like her, yet different at the same time... They both seemed to want to protect, from that alone Dusk had mutual respect for the Espeon... But there was certainly more than that, even if Dusk didn't attempt to show it.
