After having had one great success during a trip to the Dragon's Den, it was only natural that the girl planned on returning sooner as opposed to later. With high hopes and higher aspirations, the blonde calmly and proudly stepped into the depths of the caverns. She had already had one major success, so expecting another wasn't really something expected, if one knew how the girl's mind worked. This was the girl that found a gold nugget while hammering rocks in a cave. Once something worked once, she would continue doing them the exact same way, expecting the same general success.

And, hey. If it worked, why question it?

Humming lightly, the “golden”-eyed girl skipped along deeper into the depths of the Den. Though relaxed, she was very much alert. Her eyes and ears were not useless, after all. She was comfortable with entering such a place, but she was acknowledging the dangers of it, as well.

Again, the blonde found her luck mounting up to excessive heights with very little effort going into the search. These “restricted areas” were really quite amazing. The target before her was a Quilava. It wasn't a bad Pokemon on its own, but what she really wanted was the final stage, which had a bit more power. With some tweaks, the resulting Typhlosion would potentially be a powerful ally on a fire-based team. She'd still need to work out the team concept a bit, but that was something for the future. Even on its own, a Typhlosion was decent, so a Quilava was a good investment of resources.

”Lempo, open with Aqua Tail!” The girl sent out her Servine, giving him an order right off the bat. Hesitation? Fear? Not there. The girl scoffed at type-superiority in this case, as her answer was Aqua Tail. The Servine twirled, his tail giving off an azure glow, before slamming the appendage into the flame-badger. The blow sent the opponent reeling, but the Fire-type was still in the fight. Wouldn't go down that easily. In response, it spewed out a violent burst of flames, but the flames were horridly inaccurate. It was a fierce inferno, and, no doubt, it would have definitely given burns, had it connected. Fortunately, that was not the case.

”Again! Aqua Tail!” The girl ordered, thrusting her arm forward, then to the side. The Servine shot at the target again, twirling before slamming his azure tail up into the Quilava's chin and sending it flying in a double back-flip. While it seemed to be on its last legs, the target was no out. Call it battle spirit, call it fluke, call it whatever, the opponent was still up and in it. With a surge of flames on its back, the Quilava fired forth a furious burst, which. . . while it did hurt, it seemed that the opponent's overall shape lowered the attack's effective power. In other words, the fight was nearly over.

”Lempo, finish it! Another Aqua Tail!” The Servine wasted no time stepping in for the finishing blow. With a third twirl, he sent his tail downward, slamming the Quilava's face into the cavern floor. Lempo gradually stepped away from the fallen opponent. Adolfina stepped in to fill that void. Then, tossing a ball at the Quilava, she awaited the successful capture to be signaled.

Another victory, despite the odds. The blonde smiled. Two-for-two, as far as the Dragon's Den was concerned. It was probably going to be her favorite place to visit for a little while. Either way, it was time to head back home for the time being. She just looked over to the Servine. Yes, she was proud of him. Lempo had been doing extremely well. And, to think, he was the first wild Pokemon the girl had captured. Was it he that grew, or was it her? . . . no, it was certainly him. And he would continue to grow alongside her.

"Well done. I'm proud of you. Rest for now." In what was a brief moment of mutual understanding between the two, silence settled. Then, returning the Servine, the girl made her way towards the entrance of the Den. It was time to return.
