Battle of the Beasts [Alice/Battle]

Now this had just become a regular occurrence for the Mana girl. Was she a glutton for punishment or was she just that competitive and didn't know it? Both most likely, seeing as how she had only ever won one battle so far. At least this time her pokemon were buffed up unlike the last three-four times she had been there. Well she wouldn't be using any of her fully evolved pokemon this time around so Mammon was out. As was Leviathan and Pythius... A little saddening as she wanted to have her first battle with the bipedal fox. Oh well, at least she was giving the others some action time.
Like a ritual, Kyrie made her way to the battlefield. Her dark form going to it's designated box as Mammon followed. Being the bystander he was, the espeon plopped on down to the ground and watched for the events to unfold.

There seemed to be something to do while going to the Battle Dome. Battles were practically in the mind of every single trainer, so it was a pretty much a normal routine for students to get some training going with their peers. And there it was, the dome in all of its glory. There was actually a dome like this in her region where people would actually test their skills against various facilities pertaining to different aspects of battle. Such skills were proven to be useful for any battle whether the trainer had strong or weak Pokemon. Once she arrived, she spotted a purple cat-like Pokemon which was watching the scene unfold and it looked like it belonged to a purple-haired girl over there. There was no clear advantage as to what Pokemon the girl would send out, but she wasn't taking any chances so far anyway. She sent out her Litwick where the candle ghost had taken his place in battle and was ready for anything.
Sent out Litwick.

Kyrie waited, pulling out three of her poke`balls and staring down at them. She hadn't an idea of which one she was going to pick between her first three non-evolved. That's when her opponent girl came in, noticed by the espeon first who then pawed at his trainer to draw her out of her puzzlement. The girl looked up, noting little details like the fact that this time her opponent was someone from the same dorm as her and the fact that Kyrie hadn't the slightest clue as to who she was. Though that second part wasn't so new, seeing as how Kyrie didn't go out of her way to make friends.
The darker haired girl got to her place, sending out a Litwick. Now this dunce of a girl knew what that was because they were often all over the place down in Mana territory. Letting out a breath of air, Kyrie tossed a one of the three that had been in her hand. In a flash of light, out came a fish, flopping helplessly against the ground. Astaroth her feebas was up first. Kyrie motioned for the other to go first, not really one to think strategy (which could explain for her three losses so far).

And the girl sent out...a flopping fish which she believed would evolve into a serpentine Pokemon if beauty was maxed. Since the fish was a Water type, that could put Henry at a disadvantage. It was not that good, but he had to get some experience anyway. If she remembered correctly, that Feebas had the upper advantage of using Water type moves. "Henry, use Shadow Ball!" The ghost candle's flame stretched out and a dark orb appeared in front of him, firing the orb of energy at the flopping fish. Well, at least this battle would be fun, depending on how the outcome goes anyway. Considering that it was Henry's first battle, the Feebas might have some unexpected moves to go with it. She patiently waited for the flopping fish on the girl's side to make its move.
Action: Henry the Litwick used Shadow Ball. BP: 80 + STAB Accuracy: 100%

Ah, yup. Sending out the pokemon with the worst stats first was not a smart move in the slightest. As the candle brought up it's ghostly shine and sent that dark ball of death at her helpless little piece of sushi, Kyrie wasn't so surprised when the fish got blasted away. Barely able to even wiggle after that. The thing looked toasted but he still moved, that meant he was still alive technically right? Time to test out if he could do more than twitch, "Astaroth, Surf."
The fish twitched, then again before flipping himself onto his belly. He did a little swirl, bouncing up and landing with a wave of water somehow magically appearing from beneath him. Made one wonder just where all that water came from.
Action : Used Surf, BA 90 + STAB + 2x effective, BSA 10; 100% acc.

Nothing could actually stop that impending doom when the fish somwhow sent out as a huge wave of water which managed to knock Henry into a wall. Since he was weak to water, that knocked him out. Yeah, that probably wasn't a good idea to send out a Fire type, but he did do his best anyway. And he was now unconscious for the whole fight. "You did great, Henry. Take a rest." With that said, she returned the candle back to his Pokeball and it was for the best if she had an evolved Lampent which could eat up the damage. Too late now. "You're next, Claude." She sent out a leaf lizard where he was ready to avenge his fallen friend. "Use Leaf Blade!" Claude jumped into the air and proceeded to slam his glowing green tail onto the flopping fish. If anything were to happen, this would probably be her best shot.
Action: Sent out Snivy; Claude the Snivy used Leaf Blade. BP: 90 + STAB + 2x effectiveness Accuracy: 100%

Like a candy to... the water, it got snuffed out. At least now Kyrie could argue that she was indeed learning and not throwing random things on the field just because they looked cool (or cute in Belias' case).
In went the candy and out came the... snake with arms. There was nothing else in Kyrie's mind that could possibly describe what that strange little green creature was. Pretty freakin' sad too considering the snake was from her own region and starter at that. Of course, when the snake filleted her fish the poor thing fainted immediately. Already severely damaged and taking on a weakness too just wouldn't happen.
Kyrie returned Astaroth, pocketing the ball and throwing out the next. Out came a black and grey puppy. Shiki, her poochyena took the field. "Shiki your up. Crunch." Kyrie commanded. The puppy growled, baring her fangs as she began to run at the miniature snake.
Action: Feebas fainted, sent out Poochyena. Used Crunch, BP 80 + STAB, BA 55, 100% acc.

The flopping fish had been knocked out which was good. Then, a black puppy had been sent out and she had ran to the leaf lizard and bit onto Claude. He flailed his arms in alarm, trying to shake off the growling puppy. And he realized that it would actually hurt her, so he gently tried to shake her off. That puppy was a hard biter, but she would be a tough opponent since the Poochyena line was know for their high Attack. And he succeeded in getting her off...gently, but sustained a bruise where his left arm should be. Despite that, he signaled to her that he was okay. "Claude, Leaf Tornado!" The leaf lizard started to spin around as a tornado with glowing green leaves was released and whirled towards the puppy. He was careful not to trip as he stopped and looked on, worried that he might have hurt the puppy with his attack.
Action: Claude uses Leaf Tornado. BP: 65 + STAB Accuracy: 100%

The snake did well with shaking off the puppy although the poochyena had to wonder why it was going easy on her. Maybe it was part of some sort of strategy? Or perhaps the creature was a soft-hearted soul, either way the puppy's fierceness would not dim down. As the limbed snake (pretty sure that's what a lizard is) began to spin, calling up a storm of leaves; Shiki braced herself for impact. The force of the tornado sent her flying up before she landed with a solid thud on her back. The female climbed back onto her paws, shaking her spiky coat before turned to face the lizard. She would probably only be able to survive one more attack like that but that wouldn't be a reason for the pup's eyes to burn with any less fire.
She looked to Kyrie, being one of the few who actually listened to her; awaiting orders. "Again, Crunch." The order was repetitive therefore simple. Again the puppy ran at the snake, her fangs bared as she prepared another bite.
Action : Used Crunch, BP 80 + STAB, BA 55, 100& acc.

Again, the puppy ran towards the leaf lizard and bit onto him again. It was imperative that he didn't hurt the little pup by accident as he gently tried to shake her off. After a little while, he managed to get her off and suffered another bruise. Well, that puppy was being a hard biter yet again, but that attack was getting pretty repetitive. Maybe it was time to trade power with a strong powerful attack of his own. Either way, that puppy was probably going to bite him again next turn, so it'll have to count. He cringed in pain, but otherwise signaled to his trainer that he was okay, albeit injured by that nasty bite. "Let's go with a Leaf Blade this time!" Claude jumped up into the air and slammed his glowing green tail down onto the puppy. Well, that fierceness of the puppy was to be underestimated after all.
Action: Claude uses Leaf Blade. BP: 90 + STAB Accuracy: 100%

Once again the snake managed to shake her off, forcing the pup to run back and face him as he came at her with his body glowing. Leaf Blade the opposing trainer called the move, a physical slicer that hit Shiki hard. The little girl was sent tumbling away, rolling until she stopped a good distance away with spirals in her eyes. Down went the warrior.
That was two down, time for the third. Returning the hyena pup, Kyrie sent out her last of first stage pokemon. Belial, her Binacle took the stage with a particularly grumpy look on his face. Well, faces but then binacles always looked grumpy didn't they? And like Shiki, he was one of the few who listened to her. "Belial, Fury Cutter." The rock's heads bounced, somehow managing to quickly get over to the miniature snake with his claws glowing in bug power.
Action : Poochyena fainted, sent out Binacle. Used Fury Cutter, BP 40 + x2 effectiveness, BA 52, 95% acc.

Down went the Poochyena and in her place, that weird rock-face barnacle. Well, that barnacle proceeded to slash at the leaf lizard with its bug power, sending him to the ground. Well, Bug probably bested Grass in the most sense as he was badly lacerated and...had spirals in his eyes. "Good job. You get some rest, Claude." She returned the Snivy back to his Pokeball and sent out her Honedge whom blinked with disbelief at the rock-face barnacle. Well, it probably had a secondary type, so some of her best moves wouldn't work. "It's your time to shine. Isabeau, Night Slash!" The ghost sword slashed at the barnacle, her blade glowing purple as she executed the attack. Type advantages were probably a strategy for winning battles effectively, but some things were unexpected.
Action: Claude fainted; sent out Honedge. Isabeau used Night Slash. BP: 70 Accuracy: 100%

Kyrie breathed a sigh of relief when the limbed snake was down, her two-faced rock waved his heads around in a hurray sort of way. Out of everything that had been out so far, that snake was probably the most trouble. That's what she thought until the next opponent came out. A sword. A flying sword. The girl couldn't help but think of enchanted equipment one would get in the games. She was actually in awe at the mysterious thing. "Round three. Belial, Clamp." Kyrie commanded.
The two-headed rock bounced his heads up and down, hopping to the rock with the claws on the top of both head-hands reaching for the sword to clamp on. It would be hard with steel-types having a naturally high defensive.
Action : Used Clamp, BP 35 + STAB, BA 52, 85% acc.

The barnacle had tried to clamp on her blade which it succeeded. Isabeau cringed a little as the claws were digging into her steel body. Now, that was a problem as the Clamp attack would deal extra damage for each turn. Even so, Alice could tell the floating sword was determined to win for the sake of the fallen leaf lizard. Isabeau looked to her trainer for her next order. "Another Night Slash!" That order was repetitive, but was nonetheless carried out. Isabeau's blade glowed purple again as she flung the barnacle to the ground, its claws still attached to her due to Clamp. And the damage would make its move once the turn was over. It was okay as the Steel typing was known for their high defenses. That and her attack wasn't too shabby at all which made it a good advantage to take down a Rock type.
Action: Isabeau used Night Slash; takes damage from Clamp. BP: 70 Accuracy: 100%

The rock managed to somehow hop onto the sword and clamp onto sword. If Kyrie could tell anything from his face she'd probably think him happy or determined or even mad. But alas his faces were both still in that angry-palm-pout. Though she guessed trying to guess the binacle's emotions weren't exactly the best thing she should've been doing at that moment as the sword struck at him, pounding him into the ground yet still his claws clung. He was like leech, hanging off the bloodless creature (at least she didn't think it had organs or anything like that). "Hone Claws." That was the only thing she could think of, maybe using the power-up ability that her binacle had and add on some more power to it's claws. She could only hope he would survive a third hit or maybe somehow dodge it at such a close range. Honestly, the girl was outright stumped on how to deal with the sword. If only she had brought Beezlebub...
Action : Clamp damage, Attack up with Hone Claws.
