So far they seemed to be doing alright, so far. The skating bug and it's trainer decided to change tactics, this time spitting hot water at the ice cream. She half-thought that the poor ice creature was going to melt from that steaming water but the attack didn't seem to be super effective. Sure the ice cream winced and his frown deepened but he was still up. A little tuckered but fine nonetheless. "Again, Mirror Shot." Again Belias spun around, gathering up light before spitting it out at the bug. His goofy smile didn't return, still a deep frown with a sad look in his eye. The ice that fell from the sky lightened the pain and thankfully there was no burn, but he was still not happy. Not happy at all.

As soon as another Mirror Shot didn't faze the water bug that much, the confusion took effect. He was seeing floating Duckletts, but that didn't stop him from waiting for his next order. "Again, use Scald!" The water bug spewed out another stream of scalding hot water towards the ice cream despite the presence of floating Duckletts. And that confusion ailment had a chance of not letting the attack go through. The worse-case scenario would be that the ice cream would win this fight, but there was still hope for the bug. It was alright, confusion only worked 50% of the time though the chances were either high or low. The outcome was still undecided for now, but it looked like the ice cream was winning if the water bug couldn't make a dent on it. Yep, she'll have to place her faith that the water bug would get lucky and get a burn on this one. Meanwhile, the bug got pelted with hail again as always.

Belias was visibly warn, past the midpoint of damage. He huffed and puffed, his unhappy frown turned to a taxing grimace. Little tears formed in his eyes as the pokemon looked ready to spit another of something at him, only instead the confusion worked and the pokemon aimed at himself. Love be thy Mirror Shot said the ice cream as his taxing pants turned to a relieved smile. He didn't like the hot water or the extra damage he got from the smaller bug. "Lucky, Belias go with Ice Beam." It really was bug bites at this rate, with nearly all his attacks. Not to mention the hail wasn't going to last for much longer. All down to luck for Kyrie's side. Plain old luck.

And the ice cream shot out a beam of ice which managed to make Senketsu shiver a little, but wasn't fazed by it at all. On top of that, he was still confused and he had a pretty good chance of hitting himself instead of the ice cream. He might a well be seeing stars instead of floating ducks. "Again, let's try another Scald!" The water bug spewed out scalding hot water at the ice cream again, determined to get those floating ducks out of the way and aim right. The battle had depended more on whose power was the strongest, but now it was a test of luck to see if the attack had been executed. And the hailstones pelted at the water bug again which would slowly chip away at his health.

It didn't seem like Belias was going to survive for much longer though the confused state helped a bit with that. Thankfully they had enough luck for the bug to get too dizzy to strike at them but this time that wasn't going to happen, much to trainer and pokemon's disappointment. Another spout of hot water came at the ice cream, searing him right in the face. Thankfully his ice form wasn't burnt, stung worse than a sunburn, but no actually burn... yet. Still the ice cream wasn't going to survive another attack like that and neither was the Hail. "One more Ice Beam." The girl commanded, praying that her vanillish would survive. The poor thing had tears streaming down his face, his expression a big, sad pout as he took in another breath. Again he shot out an icy beam at the water bug.

Again, the ice cream Pokemon managed to shoot out another ice beam, but to the water bug's luck, he wasn't frozen yet. He was still shivering from the cold, but that damage didn't faze him much again. In his confused state, he waited for his next order and that would decide the outcome of the battle. "Once more, use Scald!" The water bug spewed out another stream of hot water towards the ice cream. That hailstorm wasn't going to last much longer, but the damage would still affect those who weren't Ice types. Another hailstone managed to pelt him again and he had a pained look on his face. She could tell that he was in pain already from the hailstones, but also from that confusion causing him to hit himself.

Kyrie visibly winced when her opponent began her counter. The beam had failed to freeze that way too durable bug and now it was going to spit another stream of hot water at her boy ice cream. At least... it was supposed to. Instead the confusion took it's tole, saving the ice cream from 'the end'. Unfortunately the Hail was no longer in effect and Kyrie was fairly sure that even if she did reinstate the ice, the health it would give to Belias' Ice Body wouldn't be enough to null out another Shadow Ball or Scald. "Try to take the bug down at least, another Ice Beam." The girl commanded, snapping her fingers as the pokemon began to gather up another round of the ice attack.

The hailstorm ended which had a sense of relief for a while until another Ice Beam had been shot out by the ice cream Pokemon again. The water bug was clearly feeling exhausted, but wasn't fazed by the ice again due to the non-effectiveness of the attack. On the up side, it looked like the ice cream Pokemon was also exhausted and couldn't take any more hits. "Again, let's try using Scald!" The water bug spewed out more hot water towards the ice cream. Things were looking bad if the confusion didn't end, but this would probably have a hope spot if the confusion didn't decide to work this turn. It was like a wheel of luck where the arrow would either stop on an unlucky spot or a lucky spot. Either way, that Scald would have to count this time.
