Adolfina returned to the Dragon's Den once again. She still had several potential additions to her team located there, so she had plenty of a reason to linger and charge in. With two of her findings in her active party already, she was prepped to train her team, as well as ready for anything extreme or unpleasant that might have come about to bother her. The girl was comfortably able to walk about in the realm of dragons with the same level of disregard for what might happen as a teen in the solitude of their room. This girl feared nothing that could come about.

Even if she had proven herself capable a few times already, was it simply luck, or was her skill? Was she getting ahead of herself, or was she justifiably confident? Only time would tell.

Adolfina blinked as she came across a sleeping dragon. Awfully comfortable, it seemed. Either the Den was a fairly peaceful place, overall, or the dragons simply were the uncontested rulers of the place. Either way, the girl was not very impressed. Sleeping out in the open was both tacky and careless. Honestly, she was tempted to battle it and capture it, if only to teach it some proper etiquette. However, she did not really desire that specific dragon family at the present. Perhaps in the future, yes, but, presently? No. With a shake of her head, the blonde sighed and walked away, honestly disgusted. She wanted something proud and powerful. Not a careless sloth.

As the blonde headed further into the den, a trio of metallic orbs, bound together by magnetic force, appeared and floating about. Well, that was nice, but the girl had absolutely zero interest in it, despite its apparent intents on blocking her way. Picking up a rock, she lobbed it at the Pokemon. Blinking, she watched as something sparked on the Pokemon, and could only shake her head as it began to repeatedly slam itself into a wall. The girl just stared for a moment before shifting her gaze to the path ahead, nodding, and pressing onward.

That was an issue better left untouched, she figured, for the sake of common sense's preservation.

As the blonde proceeded further into the cavern, a small rat appeared before her. It wasn't even a large, impressive rat, either. Just a normal Pikachu. Actually, if she caught that Pikachu, she could get rid of the Pichu she had. It was an extremely tempting prospect in and of itself. As for the soon-to-be opponent, it just tilted its head about, seemingly friendly. The girl produced a ball, sent it out, and released her Sliggoo, Felix. The slime dragon squelched and shuddered before steadying himself, looking at the rat curiously.

”Dragon Pulse, Felix.” Nothing more, nothing less. A singular order was given, and the Sliggoo, opening its mouth, fired off a blast of dragonic energy directly onto the lightning rat, sending it back into one of the cavern walls. It wasn't quite a one-shot, but it wasn't far off. The right then tried to fire off a vicious blast of lightning. Whether it was the move's naturally bad accuracy, or the fact that it was unable to remain steady, the move missed, leaving the rat completely open to the finishing move.

”Again. Dragon Pulse.” No mercy, no hesitation, she delivered the order, already producing the empty ball, as the Sliggoo sent off the pulse of energy at the rat. Indeed, just like that, the battle was over. Closing in, Adolfina lobbed the ball at the rat, waiting for the tell-tale click of victory.

Adolfina clicked her tongue as the ball clicked shut. Victory, though hollow, had rung through the cavern. All was well, as far as she was concerned. Pocketing that ball, she produced another in mid-turn, facing her Sliggoo. She wasn't going to pet it, given its slimy body, but she had nothing against praising it. She closed the distance, then smiled very slightly. Slowly, she nodded.

”Well done. Thank you, Felix. There's still more for us to do here, though. Let's go.” She calmly declared before returning the slime dragon to his ball. Indeed, it was time to proceed further into the caverns. The Den still had something to offer her.
