Physical Education #1 continued - Dodgeball!

Oleg finished with his quick daydreaming, shaking his head as he heard the mention of rare candies. He rose up, stretched and cracked his back a bit as he then strolled over to the teacher, who mentioned something about working out. PSH, like such a manly man needed any working out! Oleg was clearly at the peak of his condition, ready to tackle any problem head on. Sarcasm was entertaining.

Oleg then took one candy, bowing his head down in respect before heading off, calling Waspinator back to her ball. This had been a productive day. Dodgeball had not broken his glasses!

[Annie Prince]

It could have been better, or it could have been worse. Annie regretted her bad luck that had gotten her out immediately, but at least nothing had gone too horribly wrong during the game.

...Someone decided to bow down and genuflect during the game. Annie put Tomislav between herself and that boy so that he wouldn't see her face going red from trying not to laugh. She didn't necessarily even know the boy's name, but she had the feeling she would know his face if she saw him again, and it would be an effort not to comment on this.

Finally, the game was over and the other team had won. Oh, well. Annie trotted off, Tomislav following behind her.

And her team had won by a long shot and the teacher had given them the bonus rewards which was one rare candy for helping evolve some of her Pokemon. Missy had gotten a good workout from this dodgeball game even though she was a ghost, but ghosts had to exercise too. She took the candy and thanked Mr. Hartmann for the reward before looking back on the other team on the sidelines. They seemed dejected from losing, but sometimes losing can actually let you learn from your mistakes. She decided to leave Missy the Misdreavus outside of her Pokeball for now as she picked up the unborn Larvesta egg. Thank goodness that the egg was unharmed and no one had tried to do harm to it. After that, she went inside the Academy and back into the Mana Dorm, satisfied that she had at least won something other than Pokemon battles.

[Seria Floria]

Seria shrugged and quietly looked around. She was somewhat surprised by the decision of one of the teammates to genuflect and pray for everyone to get back in, but it was a gamble. Obviously, it didn't work, but it was just a game. Seria was worried about other things in the interim anyway. The results of a dodgeball game mattered little to her, at the end of the day. Seria did some cool-down stretching that her dad taught her, with Zenith copying her motions, as a Fighting Pokemon seemed wont to do though Seria wasn't sure if it was just Zenith trying to be cute. Regardless, Seria was quiet the entire time.

She had a certain one young lady to talk to, after all...

It wasn't going to be easy.

Yep, Rampy definitely gave his team the win, definitely.  No questions about it, Rampy made their team win.  The little, or large, T-rex got their team the win with his puny arms, no doubts about it.  It was definitely a good idea to get Rampy on his team, yep, definitely.  As if needing confirmation for his thoughts he nodded slightly, before the class got ushered into the middle of the field.  Alvis simply said that this was a good first class, and that it would probably be good to do some things to stay fit.  He was definitely going to remember that, and possibly tried since Alvis was such a cool teacher.  

Still listening to everything else Alvis he was slightly surprised that his team got a reward for winning.  He said as promised, so he probably said something about it before but he wasn't listening.  But, that really didn't matter, he still got the chance to get a rare candy.  Waiting in a small line like thing he waited for his chance to get a Rare Candy, and once he did he thanked Alvis and made his way back to the changing rooms.

Picking Cecillia up in an arm, he waved over to the Gym teacher as he walked off of the field.  "T'anks for de game!  See yeh next time!"  The Snubbull in his arms waved as best as her little arms would let her, and she beamed around at the other Pokemon as they passed by them.  Crispin patted the little dog on her head, chuckling at her.  He had a feeling she didn't quite understand that they lost, but that was okay.  There would be other Gym classes, and even if they didn't play dodge ball again next time, he was sure there would be more team related sports.  Feeling pleased with their little workout, the trainer and Pokemon walked off of the field to work on their training on their own.

When all the dust had cleared, his team was still standing! Benji stood up, stretching and smiling happily. Although he had gotten out and hadn't really helped his team win, it was still awesome either way. He looked over at the opposing team and said "Nice game!" As he quickly trotted over to Alvis to pick up his rare candy. Duncan skittered behind him, obviously bummed that the game was over. "Maybe we can do this another time?" Benji said to Alvis with a shrug. "I think it was a great idea and I'm sure some of the students want their revenge." He grinned and let out a chuckle as he bowed respectfully at the teacher and took his leave. At first Alvis had seemed like a complete ass, but now Benji thought he was pretty cool. He looked forward to the next class, hopefully they did another dodgeball or something just as fun.

"Well, that was a fun one." Yup, this class sure seemed like it was going to be the best class at the school. No boring lectures, no quizzes and book smart questions. Just pure athleticism and physical fitness. Although, he didn't exactly give the best first impression, what with being hit out in the second round. His own fault really, he should've been alert throughout the entire game instead of getting side tracked so easily. "Oh well, lesson learned, just gotta make sure to fix it next time." he told himself. He moved from the sideline, towards his teacher and picked up his reward for his team winning. "Looking forward to the next one, Coach." he remarked as he left the field.

[Sonia Strugatskaya]

When the teacher called for the end of the match, Sonia's eyes widened. They had won? She was still in as well? The girl beamed with excitement before high-fiving Nestor who was still foaming at the mouth. The little gator quacked before wobbling around out of excitement. Next, Sonia turned her attention to her partner who proved her worth during the game. Even thought Sonia had likely saved her countless times during that intense battle, she proved to be just as skilled in the offensive department. Truly, a worthy comrade. Still beaming with joy, the young girl ran up to her partner, displaying affection in the most "appropriate" manner; in her opinion, anyway. Engulfing her partner in her arms, Sonia gave the small blonde her signature bear hug that was usually reserved for her Pokemon and her father. In this case, it involved squeezing and lifting the recipient a little bit in the air. Not bad, partner! Without a second thought, the girl let the other one down and began to laugh heartily. Today, victory was theirs.
