After catching word of the berry orchard in passing, Adolfina decided it was worth returning to the woods sooner as opposed to later to try to get her hands on a few berries. The early bird caught the worm and all that. So, strolling on in at a leisurely pace, the little blonde made her way to some bushes and thrust her hand inside with the grace and care of a boxer jabbing his fist into someone's face. That is, none at all. Naturally, she took some degree of care to not destroy what was there. There was no sense in wasting something that was perfectly good and useful, after all. Especially not when it could assist her.
Tugging, she started to blindly pick some berries free. |

Heading out to the woods again, Adolfina was ready to farm a few more berries to get a few more credits. It was a simple and effective means of making money. Simple enough that she didn't need to put out much effort, effective enough in that a single berry that was "valuable" could essentially be traded in for three balls from the academy. Not a terrible exchange. The blonde made her way into the expanse of berry bushes and trees. Once she arrived, she sent her hand into the inner expanses of one of the bushes, blindly yanking a few of the fruits from their life-providing stems, and began to carefully free them, pocketing them for later verification. |

Another week, another allowed trip into the berry orchard. How pleasant and profitable. Though, more seriously, Adolfina did not see any issues with regularly hunting down berries. She did not have a distaste for the trips, and they did provide some valuable objects. Some berries were worth money, and, upon looking up the uses of berries, some did prove to have value on a battlefield, at least until she began to stock up on battle items. So, for the time being, she did feel that these trips were justified on a number of levels. Plus, there was nothing wrong with heading out to simply enjoy nature in its glory without the few of frostbite or freezing.
All in all, Adolfina could say that she enjoyed heading to the grove. Pleasant, relaxing, profitable, viable. There was no downside. The girl thrust her fist into the bushes, once she had arrived, and began to pick a few of the pieces of produce. |

Another week, another chance to take a relaxing stroll to the berry orchard. And to get berries. The act wasn't just to fatten her wallet, though, as she did gain plenty from all this. Still, she had never expected that a reliance on nature would provide such benefits. While she was in the Nature dorm, and she did support a mutually symbiotic relationship with nature itself, she had never expected it to be so fruitful in regards to preparation for battle and for growing Pokemon. Put simply, it flowed together so well that she honestly couldn't believe things worked so pleasantly for her.
It just pushed her along to her goals happily. Egg Point +1 |

And so, once again, Adolfina returned to the woods to gather berries. It was something of a relaxing, refreshing, and otherwise restorative journey for the girl. It paid her, it provided for her. The woods were truly a wondrous place, and one that she was just a bit proud of to call her “home” here at the academy. While she was not one driven by emotions- or so she claimed, as she was indeed better than that- she would admit that she had no qualms with protecting such a place, if the need did come up in the future. It very well may have, considering that that rag-tag group of criminals seemed intent on ruining the island.
All the same, it was time to thrust a hand into a bush and pick some berries! |

Adolfina headed to the woods again for the sake of gathering berries. While it wasn't really that profitable anymore, in comparison to other means of gathering money, it was still an overall pleasant trip- relaxing enough to calm her, and active enough to constitute as exercise. And, while it was not that profitable, it still did provide her with some berries that could be utilized for non-restricted matches. While some were not exactly that impressive, others served by lessening damage, enhancing damage dealt, or something along those lines. So, while there was little worth, monetarily, she could at least find worth in them through combat.
Nodding to herself to justify the act of going out every week for these things, she thrust her hand into a bush. Time to get stock up. Eevee Egg +2 |

Though it hadn't been too long since her last trip to the woods to pick, her timing on that act actually allowed her to go again in pretty quick succession. Either way, a quiet walk through the woods was probably good for the blonde. While Adolfina wasn't exactly stressed or bothered, she wasn't really sure about what to aim for, so taking a break from all of the thoughts was good. She prevailed against Team Origin in Mavro. She triumphed in the tournament. Her methods for either event were not to be questioned- they worked. All that mattered now was finding the next big goal.
And, at the moment, finding the next bunch of berries. |
