Alouette surveyed the streets and buildings off to the sides from her elevated position. The young woman was standing in the left hand of her superhero-wannabe Pokemon, Hisoutensoku; A.K.A. "Hisoutensoku, Humanity's Last Hope and Savior!" Hisoutensoku, her caped Golurk, was flying just above the ground so that the woman could get a better view of her surroundings and hopefully locate the terrorists that decided to attack the city. Around her on the ground below, the woman could see fleeing civilians, fires, and cars that seemed to be abandoned in a hurry. The civilians were fleeing away from where Alouette was heading. In other words, she was heading right into the fray; just as she needed to be. Arms crossed, the woman was ready to swoop down and engage the enemy along with her team. Her team, of course, consisted of the volunteers that were assigned to her care and leadership.
As the sounds of a struggle seemed to get closer, the woman lowered her altitude so that she was closer to the students who were following right behind her. Calling out to the students behind her, the woman continued to keep her eyes ahead to prevent her from missing the enemy's approach. Alright, we're approaching our targets. I want you all to stick together and don't get separated. We don't know how strong these guys are, so stay cautious and keep an eye out for them! Until we get there, stay behind me. The young Wave Warden intended to keep all of these children safe as well as deal with the threats at hand. She was fully prepared with her team and would be more than able to lead and coordinate the students if need be. She hadn't lost a battle yet. She was not about to lose her first here. Aurora, watch our six. We don't need any surprises from behind. She gave one last order to her subordinate before dropping to silence as she listened for any movement up ahead.

Seria learned about the recent invasion. Well, at least she figured it was an invasion. There were an unidentified group of trainers that managed to breach into the city, and she decided she would join in the effort in order to help the situation here in the city. It seemed like the leader was someone she didn't know, but she was probably someone important from the academy. This time, she decided to experiment, and was currently riding on the back of Antenora, gently stroking her neck and making sure to get on. Fortunately, for her height, she was quite light, so it wasn't serving as a strain on her back. The leader had ordered that everyone stick together and don't get separated. And also to stay behind her.
Seria looked around to see who she would be with. She smiled upon the sight of Astrid and Tanya, two of her friends. She recognized the blonde haired boy from back when she was watching that movie with Oleg, but she wasn't sure if she ever got his name. The fellow Nature dormer was someone she did not know completely. Ah well, maybe she'd get to know him here. Antenora kept trotting forward with Seria on her, but she did not make any attempts to go faster, and remained behind the flying Golurk that the leader was on.

Tanya felt a mixture of trepidation and determination as she walked down the Business District. In less stressful times, she probably would've gone shopping here or hung out with some friends. While she was with her friends, the situation was not something to be taken lightly and all around her, fires and chaos were on the rise. Making sure to take deep breaths, Tanya proceeded towards the front of the group, not letting her fears overwhelm her.
Hearing the order from her leader, the Wave Dorm Warden, Tanya slowed down a bit to make sure she was behind the Warden. As long as she had her pokemon with her, she was going to be fine. That's all she had to tell herself. Even in the face of danger or fear, Tanya needed to overcome it. Other people need her. She wasn't going to let these people do whatever they want in Marvo. Not while she was around.
Team: Dani, Daniel, Christoper, Christian, Daniella, Christina, Nicholas and Gundamu.

Superstar fighting a (potential) group of bad guys? Who would have guessed? This was material for a song right here. Astrid would have to take mental notes for later, although of course survival was the biggest priority right now. There was always at least a decent chance that they were all in way over their heads, although she hopes that with a Metagross on her side, that wouldn't be the case.
Quadraxis wasn't out yet, of course. She was saving that for later. It was big, slow, and would make an awesome battle tank, but would also bring a lot of collateral damage with it, even just by walking around. So, for the moment, she'd hold onto it as a trump card. Instead, Magnate was floating behind her, idly sensing the surrounding environment. Thankfully, the (totally amazing) giant robot Pokemon of their leader seemed to be completely immune to any electromagnetic disturbances it created, so Astrid wasn't worried about breaking it. Meanwhile, Lunatic, now a Clefable, trotted along at her side and looked way too carefree for the current situation.
As for her teammates, Astrid was relieved to see Tanya and Seria there, as well as Crispin. In the last case, this would be her chance to prove that their battle had definitely been a fluke. Apart from them was a blonde boy that Astrid didn't recognize. Their leaders, meanwhile, were two Wardens. One, the one doing the leading, she didn't recognize, but the other was the girl she met while practicing one day, Aurora. She smiled, but just for a moment before returning to a serious expression and continued to watch the area. It was good to know that she was in good company.

Aurora's sparking amber eyes gazed over her surrounding as the group moved within the depths of the city, she was still feeling a little surprised by the recent invasion of Mavro City. During her past years of attending Gray Academy, the school nor city had ever experience such life threatening event. Therefore, she honestly did not know what to expect from this warfare. However, she knew that she has to do whatever it takes to protect the innocent lives of the civilians and students around her. Walking beside Aurora, was her loyal Sylveon, a Pokemon believed to have the power to calm down fights by sending a smoothing aura from her ribbon-like feelers. Of course, Aurora wasn't going to be depending on Aphrodite to attempt to use her powers to calm down fights, but use her grace and power to fight valiantly against their enemies. Aphrodite currently had her ribbon-like feelers wrapped around her trainer's arm to showcase their incredible bond. While walking alongside her trainer, Aphrodite would use her eerie blue eyes to scan over their surroundings including their front, sides, and back area. The protective fairy Pokemon refused to allow their enemies to sneak up on her trainer and her troops.
Meanwhile, Aurora would turn her head slightly to flash her troops a warm smile. Although her troops didn't appear too nervous, she figured that of her students hearts were probably pounding from both fear and excitement Her smile was a way of telling that to remain alert and confident, because she believed in their strength and skills, despite some of them being newcomers in the world of Pokemon. If one would look deep into her golden eyes, the would be able to sense the fiery passion inside of her to defeat and destroy the malicious terrorists. Once their leader had given out her commands, Aurora would simply nod her head at Alouette's command as she continued to trail the group from behind. She could sense that the group would be approaching trouble at anytime now. Therefore, she had to make sure that their enemies wouldn't attempt to blindside them by attacking them from behind.

Even Crispin was quite and somber as the group pushed through the streets. He was glad to recognize two of the group, but didn't dare start up any sort of a conversation. This wasn't the time or place, and they all needed to put all their focus on the situation at hand. While some of the others brought their own mounts, and by all means his Skiddo would have been able to carry him, Wesley instead stayed in his Pokeball. Jove was the only Pokemon at his side at the moment, even the Galvantula feeling the gravity of the situation and not trying to sit on his trainer's head.
Glancing around, Crispin tried to put names to the faces of his companions. There were both of the girls he had had battles with, Tanya and Astrid, a wave dorm member he vaguely remembered from the incident in breeding class, a fellow nature dormer he didn't recognize, and who seemed to be the nature dorm's warden. Even if he didn't know most of them, even just two helped calm his nerves, and he knew the Academy wouldn't send students if they didn't have confidence in them.
Jove chittered softly at his side as the two stuck close to the group. They listened carefully for their leader's orders, trying to keep his heart from jumping out of his throat. Despite how anxious he was, he kept a smile on his face to give the others. If it was obvious he was nervous, it would only bounce off of the others, and he didn't want that.

Seemingly from nowhere, numerous youths, both male and female, stepped out. Was it an ambush? Or just coincidence? Either way, from every possible hiding place around the group, what seemed like a small cell of operatives appeared. While the exact style of clothing varied on each member, a color scheme of black and pink prevailed. Truly intimidating fashion sense. One, seeming to be the leader, just smiled and shook his head, clapping his hands as he stepped forward and stared at the blonde girl that had taken point.
”Well now. Looks like our information was on the mark, ladies and gentlemen. Let's wrap this up quick and get back to work- divide and conquer!” With that, he reached for a few balls, and sent out his opening duo.
Versus Alouette
The leader of the group sent out a male Politoed and female Scizor! Water began to drop from the sky as a small-scale, localized shower appeared over the area between the two leaders! It seemed that the Politoed's ability was Drizzle!
”Come on, girly. Ain't got all day. Show me what ya got, if you're a leader!” It seemed that he was full of himself.
Notes: Rain is active until the fifth active turn from the Cell Leader.
Versus Seria
Another member of the cell stepped forward. It was a girl sporting a short black skirt. She dressed somewhat scantily. More than that, she looked like she was in her early twenties. With a smirk and a flick of her wrist, she sent forth a pair of balls! A male Skarmory screeched and appeared, spreading his wings and glaring at the target intended for him! Furthermore, a female Herdier howled and planted her paws in the ground, ready for action!
Notes: No active effects.
Versus Tanya
Male, shorter than Napoleon, and cursed with an eternally passive expression, the next member of the cell stared down at a member of the student body. With a ball in either hand, he launched the containers forward! A female Sigilyph appeared first, flapping her wings and observing the surroundings. To her side, a particularly foul-mannered male Krokorok appeared, stomping eagerly.
Notes: No active effects.
Versus William
With bandaged hands, the next member of the cell produced two balls. The young man looked like he had a habit of punching and getting punched, as there were fresh bruises over his face. With a forceful throw, he sent out two Pokemon- a male Monferno and a female Ninetails! Over this patch of ground, intense sunlight beat down! The Ninetails must have had Drought as an ability!
Notes: Intense sunlight will persist until the fifth active turn of the cell member.
Versus Astrid
Piercings ahoy! The next member of the cell was a young lady with numerous facial rings aligning her eyebrows, nose, and lips. Perhaps she was compensating for a lack of depth with her personality? Sending out two balls, a male Fraxure and a Klang appeared!
Notes: No active effects.
Versus Aurora
Top hat, monocle, and cane at the ready, the next cell member twirled two balls around in his fingers before lobbing them forward. He seemed to be the equivalent of a sub-leader for the cell group. This was particularly evident when his male Excadrill and Gallade appeared.
Notes: No active effects.
Versus Crispin
The final member of the cell, a stone-faced girl looking like she should've been in middle school, drew out two balls before tossing them forward. First came a male Politoed! Then, a female Croconaw. Much like the leader of the group, her Politoed produced a small-scale shower, revealing that it had Drizzle as an ability!
Notes: The rain will continue until the fifth turn taken by the cell member.
The group was ready to go, and, while they were varied, one thing was obvious: They had every intention of playing rough.

Tanya instinctively stepped backwards at the arrival of a group of people. Apparently, they were the ones that were causing the mess in the Business District. They literally came out of nowhere and she had a momentary spike in fear as she realized that there were so many of them. She quickly calmed herself down though, not letting her opponents see any fear in her as she glared back at them with burning determination.
It seemed that they wanted to divide and conquer, her opponent making her way towards her. She never took her eyes away from him, keeping her face in a stern frown as she watched him get out his pokeballs. He almost looked bored by the whole scenario, something which irritated Tanya. He could show at least the smallest smidge of emotion. It looked like there was going to be no way out of a battle though, not that Tanya minded.
"If it's going to be like that, you better be ready for a fight. Let's go Christina and Gundamu!" Tanya commented in a challenging tone, getting out her pokeballs and releasing her Pikachu and Golurk. The Golurk stood ominously for a moment, before moving mechanically into a fighting pose. Meanwhile, Christina started to jump around the battlefield, leaving behind little sparks of electricity wherever she jumped.
"Christina! Thunderbolt the Sigilyph! Gundamu, Hammer Arm the Korokok!" Tanya commanded, swiping across the air as she hollered out her orders. When Christina got her order, she stopped jumping around and looked towards the Sigilyph. Starting to charge up electrical energy, she jumped up into the air and launched a large electrical bolt right at her opponent. Meanwhile, Gundamu had lost its legs, which were promptly replace with some form of energy that acted as a jet, allowing him to stay upright. Angling towards the Korokok, it flew towards him, moving his arm up in the air and swinging it down when it was in range of the crocodile pokemon.
Tanya wasn't going to let these bastards win.
Action: Christina the Pikachu used Thunderbolt on Sigilyph and Gundamu the Golurk used Hammer Arm on Korokok.
Roll for Thunderbolt's Paralysis: 9sQ4XhCB1-10 1 Paralysis 2-10 Nothing
Roll for Hammer Arm to hit: 1-10 1-9 Hit 10 Miss1-10·1-10

He knew it was only a matter of time before the people behind this showed up, and Crispin's smile faded into a deep scowl directed at them. Information? Did that mean that they had a way of knowing they would be coming? Pushing the concern to the back of his head for now, he pointed towards the stronger looking of the two Pokemon, reaching for his belt as he shouted an order to his Galvantula. "Jo! Use de rain ter yer advantage, while it lasts, an' use thunder!" The bug skittered forward, before charging up a huge bolt from the sky to strike the Politoad. Thanks to the rain it summoned, it made it a sure hit.
However, Crispin didn't plan on letting the rain last long enough for it to be of any help to the other team. Throwing the Pokeball he had his hand on, Valdis appeared next to Jove. The blue dog looked instantly disgruntled at the rain above her, looking behind her pathetically to Crispin. She was confused for a moment at the serious look on his face, having never seen her trainer look anything but jovial before. "Sorry Val, but 'tis time ter be serious. Git rid av dis rain for us an' use sunny day!" Looking back over to her opponents, her eyes seemed to glow for a moment as she threw her head back, flame flowing through her teeth into the sky. Suddenly, the rain was replaced by a bright, harsh light. Crispin wasn't going to let these freaks get the better of him.
Jove the Galvantula used Thunder on the Politoad, 100% hit chance thanks to the rain! This move has 110BP, plus STAB, plus Super Effective! However, shortly afterwords Valdis the Houndour used Sunny Day, replacing the rain with a bright light! This will last for five turns, boosting Fire moves and weakening Water moves.

Seria disembarked off Antenora once she saw the various uniformed youths appear from pretty much every possible place they could have come out from. Their uniforms were black and pink, and while Seria might have liked them, some of them looked rather scant and she wasn't exactly such a fan. A girl wearing a short black skirt, and midriff-exposed top appeared before Seria, quickly launching out two Pokemon - a big, metallic bird with red feathers, undeniably a Skarmory, and on top of that, a female Herdier which was basically a strong-looking dog. They both seemed raring to go. Seria sighed and stretched as Antenora stepped forward, and soon Seria took two Pokeballs of her own and sent out her Galvantula, Seyoung, and her Marill, Aquaelie. The three of Seria's Pokemon lumbered out and looked just as eager to engage in combat.
"OK, this is the plan! Seyoung, use your Thunder on that stupid metal bird! Aquaelie, use Superpower on the Herdier, and Antenora, use Horn Leech on the Herdier as well!" Seria called out. In response, the Marill rolled over to the big dog, looked unusually smug, before managing to somehow heft the damn thing with its stubby arms, leap up into the air with it and send it crashing down back to the ground with a suplex. Meanwhile, the Sawsbuck had followed up on the attack with a fierce application of horn to body, attempting to sap some energy from her.
The yellow tarantula wiggled and jiggled as he looked menacingly at the Skarmory as he let electricity build up from his thorax, and soon caused a fearsome bolt of intense electricity shoot up from it and come crashing down on the metal bird. Fortunately, with the tarantula's Compound Eyes, the thunder attack would not be able to miss, and Thunder was a strong attack that usually had the downside of being somewhat inaccurate.
Actions
Marill: 120 BP Superpower, off 20*2 ATK, targeting the Herdier. 2x Effectiveness. Afterwards, Marill has -1 ATK and -1 DEF stages. Herdier has 65 base DEF.
Sawsbuck: 75 BP Horn Leech + 37.5 STAB bonus for 102(trunc) total BP, off 100 ATK, targeting the Herdier. Saps 50% damage dealt. Herdier has 65 base DEF.
Galvantula: 110 BP Thunder + 55 STAB bonus for 165 total BP, off 97 SATK, targeting the Skarmory. 2x Effectiveness. 100% accuracy because of Compound Eyes adding 30% accuracy. Skarmory has 70 base SpDEF. Roll for Paralysis Chance on Thunder OTorTsP81-10 1-3 Success, 4-10 Fail1-10

Post by Alouette Pendleton on Jul 8, 2014 3:31:23 GMT
Alouette swooped down a bit lower once the enemy decided to show itself. She was mostly planning to prevent them from trying something funny with the kids. A group of enemies dressed in all black and pink. This was something new. But it had confirmed Alouette's suspicions. This was organized crime in the works. If all the damage and reports weren't enough, this was the icing on the cake. Alouette simply remained silent as the enemies began to fan out and take on the other students. Remember! This isn't some honorable battle. There are no rules here. Do what needs to be done to win and stay safe. She called back to the students under her watch. They should be fine. At least for now.
Though, as she spoke, it seemed that the enemy decided to bring out a bit of its competition. He made a few cocky remarks, to which Alouette simply dismissed as she stared at him with cold, apathetic eyes. A simple start for a simple person. Let's get this over with. She woman tossed out three Pokeballs with one hand letting three Pokemon drop to the ground, making it quake slightly. Among them was her Metagross, Titan, her Eelektross, Susanoo, and her Hydreigon, Sazandora. You two, Flamethrower on that Scizor! Titan, Earthquake!
Utilizing her Pokemon's abilities, she prevented her Hydreigon and Eelektross from receiving damage from the earthquake while hitting the enemy with two powered up flamethrowers. Though fire was weakened in the rain, Ally knew she could power through that. As they say, if hitting doesn't work, hit harder. With that, a tremor spread towards the enemies as two flamethrowers went at the Scizor. Actions: Metagross: Earthquake; 100 BP. Target: All enemies and allies; (Allies immune due to Levitate.) Eelektross: Flamethrower; 90 BP. Target: Scizor; x4 damage from weakness, half damage from rain for a total of x2 damage. Expert Belt activated: +20% damage Hydreigon: Flamethrower; 90 BP. Target: Scizor; x4 damage from weakness, half damage from rain for a total of x2 damage. Life Orb activated: +30% damage; -10% of maximum HP to Hydreigon.

While the group continued to travel within the depths of the Business District, Aurora soon felt Aphrodite's ribbon-like feelers starting to tighten up a bit against her dainty wrist. The young blonde quickly understood that her Fairy Pokemon was sensing the aura of something or someone dangerous approaching them. It didn't take long for Aurora's dazzling amber eyes to identify the diverse group of youths attempting to ambush her group. The first thing that capture her attention were their stylish pink and black uniforms. She would have to admit that those unique uniforms complimented their team quite well. However, she didn't have time to awe over their uniforms or express her liking of their taste in fashion. Right now, she had to punish them for their intrusive behavior.
Aurora's golden eyes were soon glued to the mysterious man standing in front of her, with a few unique accessories, such as a top hat, monocle, and cane. He appeared to have been second in command of their group, it become even more obvious to her once she notice his powerful Excadrill and Gallade standing a few feet away from him. Aurora didn't say anything to her opponent, she simply withdraw two Pokeballs from her bag and tossed them gracefully into the air. Within seconds of a brilliant white flash, a gorgeous Milotic and stunning Vivillon materialized in front of her. Second later, Aphrodite leaped gracefully into the battle field to accompany her allies. Normally, Aurora would fight two on two but right now she couldn't risk making any mistakes with this battle. "Aphrodite use Reflect. Marina use Rain Dance. Solange use Hurricane!" She commanded out loud. The Sylveon quickly pranced in front of her team, her eerie blue eyes now glowing the seven colors of the rainbow as she create wondrous wall of light to protect herself and her team by suppressing the damage from physical moves. Once Aphrodite set up the Reflect, Marina would then start to preform a mystical rain Rain Dance to increase the power of water type moves. Within seconds, a cool shower of rain poured down onto the battlefield. Now that the Reflect and Rain Dance were in place, it was time for Solange to make her move. The Vivillon quickly started to create a powerful gale by flopping her majestic wings in a fierce way. Luckily with the assistance of Marina's Rain Dance attack, the Hurricane would be sure to hit the Gallade.
Actions:
Sylveon used Reflect. Physical type moves are are reduced by 1/3 for 5 turns.
Milotic used Rain Dance. Water type moves are increased by 50%, whereas Fire type moves are decreased by 50% for 5 turns. Also Hurricane now has 100% accuracy.
Vivillon used Hurricane on Gallade. 110 BP. x2 Effective. Plus STAB. 30% chance of causing confusion onto the foe.
cgIiP80r1-10
1-3 = Confusion.
Vivillon is holding BrightPowder, moves from the foe has a 10% chance of missing the target.
1-10 1 = Success

Straight into the action, huh? It didn't take long at all for them to be ambushes, assuming it could even be called an ambush and not just a happy coincidence. The cell of terrorists were clearly some kind of organized band, judging by their matching and somewhat tacky uniforms. Conveniently (or not), there was enough of them for one to match each member of their own group. The one finding herself in front of Astrid was quite a sight to not want to see. Seriously, who would willingly ruin their face like that?
Well, there wasn't much time to wonder about that. The woman sent out a couple Pokemon of her own, but they were easily matchable by her own. "It's not as fun when it's not a show," Astrid sighed. "Oh well. I'll deal with you quickly. Magnate, hit the gears with Thunderbolt!" She made a sweeping gesture towards the Klang, then reached for one of the other pokeballs she'd brought along in an uncharacteristically plain manner. "And...Xanadu, back it up!" she threw out the extra pokeball, releasing her Beheeyem into the air. The alien pokemon fixed its gaze on the gears, following up Magnate's blast of electricity with a barrage of flashing lights, which would hopefully punch through the Klang's steel body.
Then, Astrid turned her attention to the Clefable at her side, deceptively calm while waiting for her orders. "Lunatic..." Astrid started. "Just be yourself." She gave the Clefable a thumbs up. Lunatic fixed the Fraxure that had gone un-attacked with a disarming expression, that persisted only for a few seconds before her eyes gleamed, and a barrage of moonbeams fell out of the sky onto it.
Action - Magneton: Thunderbolt on the Klang - 95 BP neutral move with 10% paralysis chance, from 120 base special attack. Normal crit chance (1/16) Paralysis Roll - 1 for success W_PtT_Ub1-10 Crit Roll - 1 for success 1-16
Action - Beheeyem: Hidden Power (Fighting) on the Klang - 60 BP move x2 for weakness, from 125 base special attack. Normal crit chance (1/16) Crit Roll - 1 for success 1-16
Action - Clefable: Moonblast on the Fraxure - 95 BP move x2 for weakness with 30% chance of lowering special attack, from 95 base special attack. Special Attack drop roll - 1-3 for success 1-10 Crit Roll - 1 for success 1-161-10·1-16·1-16·1-10·1-16

Versus Alouette
"Politoed, intercept the Flamethrowers! Scizor, go mega!" Thanks to the Water-typing and rain, Politoed took little damage from the Flamethrowers. However, after both of them, and the Earthquake, subsided, the toad was in bad shape, standing in front of the Scizor. Meanwhile, the Scizor, with neutrality to Ground and hefting enhanced defense after mega-evolving, was still in good shape. The cell leader looked pleased with himself.
"Scizor, Swords Dance! Politoed, use Blizzard!" The chainsaw-armed bug did a jig, and the frog spewed a torrential blast of frigid wind and ice shards! While this went on, the man lobbed another Pokeball out, revealing a Sigilyph! He was just getting started.
Notes: Heavy damage to Politoed. Scizor was defended and took damage only from Earthquake, as it was an AoE. Scizor now has 2x Attack. Politoed used Blizzard on all enemies. No misses. Yay. Eelektross will be frozen. Sigilyph is on the field.
Versus Seria
"Wait, then reverse." The scantily-clad cell member ordered. And her Pokemon did just that. At the last second, the Skarmory and dog reversed their positions, allowing them them to tank the attacks. The Superpower slammed into Skarmory, as did the Sawsbuck's Horn Leech! Superpower did neutral damage, but Skarmory had solid defense. Furthermore, Horn Leech's effectiveness was only one-fourth of its total potential! Meanwhile, the Herdier, having taken the powerful lightning blast, was in dire straits, but still in the fight.
"Herdier, use Helping Hand! Skarmory, Rock Slide! Wipe them out!" The dog assisted the bird, powering up the following Rock Slide! Furthermore, the woman sent out a third Pokemon- Excadrill! Also, it seemed like the Skarmory recovered slightly. Something was in its mouth.
Notes: Skarmory took Horn Leech at 1/4 effectiveness. Took Superpower at 100%. Herdier took Thunder at 100%. Herdier is near-death. Skarmory's Rock Slide targeted all opponents, damage boosted by 50% via Helping Hand. No misses. Flinch on Galvantula. Excadrill is on the field. Skarmory recovered 6.25% health via Leftovers.
Versus Tanya
"Ready. Willing. You two, switch." Of few words, the short youth acknowledged his opponent and gave an order. The two Pokemon swapped at the last second, and, as a result, the Hammer arm dealt one-fourth of its potential to the Sigilyph. Meanwhile, the Krokorok was completely unaffected! Taking a moment, the cell member observed, then nodded to himself.
"Sigilyph, use Reflect. Krokorok, Earthquake!" The bird put up a barrier over the space where its team was lined up. Meanwhile, the bipedal crocodile forcefully stomped the ground, stirring up an Earthquake! The Sigilyph was unaffected, but the tremors were clearly heading towards the opposing team! Once the shaking had subsided, the youth nodded, seeming to be content as the Sigilyph mysteriously developed burns. It seemed to be holding a Flame Orb. Furthermore, the burns did not damage it.
Notes: Sigilyph took Hammer Arm at 1/4 effectiveness. Krokorok nullified Thunderbolt. Reflect erected. Physical damage inflicted on team is reduced by 50%. Krokorok's STAB Earthquake launched. No misses. Sigilyph has burns. No burn damage due to Magic Guard.
Versus William
"Been working on our defense! Ninetails, use Protect!" The fox performed as ordered, effectively taking no damage from the stones! The monkey was slammed by the water, but he didn't go down! Instead, he seemed almost stronger than before!
"'course, our offense is solid, too! Monferno, drop the 'saur like a fly! Close Combat!" The monkey began to flip and cartwheel towards the Tyrantrum before spiraling in the air and trying to pummel it with its fists!
Notes: Ninetails used Protect. Negated attack. Water Pulse weakened Monferno and activated Weakness Policy, adding a +2 to Attack and Sp Attack (2x the stat). Monferno launched STAB Close Combat on Tyrantrum. No miss. Following connection, -1 to Defense and Special Defense.
Versus Astrid
"Do it." With the prevailing trend, the cell member ordered her Pokemon to swap places at the last second. A resisted Thunderbolt slammed into the Fraxure, followed by a powerful blast from the Beheeyem. The Fraxure held on. If only barely. Meanwhile, the Moonblast, resisted by the Klang, was a bit more negligible. Ring-face clicked her tongue, annoyed.
"Fraxure, Assurance, Beheeyem. Klang, Hidden Power, Magneton." Simple orders. The Fraxure launched a boosted Assurance at the psychic alien, while the Klang fired a burst of what seemed like fire at the magnet trio! Furthermore, she tossed out a third ball, revealing a Scizor!
Notes: Fraxure took Hidden Power Fighting and Thunderbolt. Barely holding on. Klang took the resisted Moonblast. Fraxure launched an Assurance at double power due to taking hits. Klang used Hidden Power Fire on Magneton. No misses. Scizor is on the field.
Versus Aurora
"Good show. But not good enough." The gentleman praised his opponent before lobbing a Pokeball in front of the Gallade. There appeared an Ampharos. "Ampharos, block the Hurricane." With that, the threat to the Gallade was removed. The Ampharos took the hit with ease, as it resisted Flying-type moves.
"Excadrill, utilize Brick Break on the Milotic and shatter their Reflect. Gallade, follow up afterward with Rock Slide." With the drill on its head twirling, the Excadrill charged forward, throwing a punch at the Milotic. Regardless of whether it took the hit, or if a comrade blocked it, the Reflect would be torn to shreds. After that, the Gallade twirled in and caused a volley of rocks to fall upon the group!
Notes: Ampharos placed on the field to take Hurricane. Resisted attack. Excadrill launched Brick Break on Milotic. No miss. Reflect is negated by the effect of Brick Break. Gallade utilized Rock Slide on the group. No misses. Flinch on Sylveon and Milotic.
Versus Crispin
"Politoed, Protect!" The middle schooler quickly ordered as the Thunder was directed at it. Thanks to that, the threat was averted. However, the rain was also completed replaced by fierce sunlight. The little girl glared at her opponent, obviously annoyed with the resistance.
"Croconaw, tear them down. Rock Slide!" The croc shot at the duo before causing a hail of rocks to slam down. However, this attack was significantly more powerful than it should have been, under normal circumstances.
Notes: Politoed negated Thunder via Protect. Croconaw fired Rock Slide at both opponents. No misses. Rock Slide is enhanced by 60% via Sheer Force and Life Orb. Flinch chance is negated via Sheer Force. Recoil damage is negated via Sheer Force + Life Orb combination on applicable move.

Crispin gritted his teeth as the Politoad protected itself from that hit. Damn, that was sure to deal a good amount of damage. Still, he knew Protect was almost impossible to continue for long, so as long as he kept hammering on the Politoad he should be able to wear it down before long. That was when he heard his leader warn them that there were no rules. The bastard cursed sharply at himself for briefly lacking the common sense to see that earlier. These were people not afraid to burn an entire city. Why should he follow the normal rules against them?
So when he saw the rocks falling, he tried to think fast. Those were sure to be almost deadly for his team. He didn't want to let that happen, but he knew if he sent more into the fray it would just be more damage. Instead, he watched hopelessly as the rocks came down on his team and hit them hard. Releasing the breath he had when Valdis and Jove slowly stood, he began to think to act. They were both rough on their feet, so he knew they wouldn't have much longer─he needed to make his actions count. Valdis scratched at her fur, dislodging the berry she held there and ate it, restoring some of her health. Reaching for his belt, he threw three balls and released them. Among the rubble of the Rock Slide now stood his Skarmory, Snubbull, and Skiddo next to Valdis and Jove. Wesley eyed Jove warily, but all three stood prepared to fight.
Whatever was buffing that Conkeldurr’s power needed to stop, and Crispin just hoped his gut was right. “Jove, Gastro Acid on de Croconaw! Valdis, use de sun ter yer advantage, Solar Beam on de Politoad!” Jove turned his attention to the Croconaw, spitting up juices onto the other Pokemon and rendering it’s ability useless. Valdis turned towards the frog and opened her mouth. As she soaked in the powerful sunlight, it instantly turned into a powerful beam of energy towards the Politoad. ─Jove the Galvantula used Gastro Acid on Croconaw, suppressing it's Sheer Force while it remains in battle. 100% Accuracy, no roll needed. ─Valdis the Houndour used Solar Beam on the Politoad, turned into a one-move turn thanks to the Sunny Weather. 120BP plus x2 Super Effective, 100% accuracy, no roll needed. Ate her held Oran Berry, restoring some of her health. The Sunny Weather will remain for four more turns. Tara the Skarmory, Cecillia the Snubbull, and Wesley the Skiddo sent out!
