"Get out of there Daniella. Christina, take her place." Tanya called out, returning Daniella to her pokeball. Christina jumped in towards the battlefield, looking excited for the fight. With the Liepard at relatively low health, Tanya felt comfortable sending in Christina. If she was able to attack, she could probably knock out the Liepard. If she couldn't, well that was something that she was just going to have to live with.

When Christina came onto the battlefield, she looked towards Leipard and was immediately taken in by the movements. Jumping about angrily, Christina worked herself into such a rage that she became confused, losing focus on the fact that she was supposed to be in the battle. While it did suck that she had been confused, she had faith that Christina would be able to pull through. Then again, knowing her luck, she'd probably hit herself and then automatically faint. If that did happen though, at least she could hope to rely on her static to paralyze the Liepard. That was worst case scenario though.

Action: Daniella switched with Christina! Christina is Confused!

Seria scratched her hair and looked at Tanya who recalled her Musharna and sent in her Pikachu. The Pikachu instead was the one that got hit by the Swagger, and started to jump around in a fit of excited rage, she was the one who received both the benefits of Swagger and the strings attached to it - the Confusion, naturally. Severa licked her paws casually and awaited a command from Seria. "OK, Severa, use Foul Play on the Pikachu!" Seria called out as the Liepard charged quickly at the Pikachu with a blinding speed and began to 'play' with the Pikachu as if she were a chew toy, roughly handling her and making her flail and hit herself thanks to the Liepard's dirty underhanded tricks. Hopefully this would be enough to do some serious damage if not one-shot the Pikachu completely.

Well that was anti-climactic. She had hoped that Christina would be able to survive the attack, but she didn't. After being rough-housed, the Pikachu lost her energy and fainted. Since the attack made contact though, there was a chance that she paralyzed the Liepard. It didn't matter too much though, Tanya could certainly work around it as she returned Christina to her pokeball. She had hoped to give some experience to her, but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen today.

"Attack with Retaliate Daniel!" Tanya commanded, opening her pokeball. As soon as Daniel came out, he launched himself towards towards the Liepard, paws outstretched. Once he got closer, he started to rapidly pummel the pokemon. However, his attacks were so quick, that it only lasted a second and he appeared on the other side. Due to the fact that his ally had recently fainted, it gave the attack even more power. Hopefully, that should be enough to deal substantial damage to the Liepard. If she decided to switch, he'd still deal quite a lot of damage to the opponent that would be swapped in.

Action: Christina fainted! Daniel enters and uses Retaliate! Power increases from 70 to 140!

The Pikachu fainted immediately from the attack, but Seria wasn't relaxing yet. Tanya sent out her Lopunny once more and now he rushed towards Severa and began to rapidly pummel her and attack with fierce aggression, it seemed to be some sort of attempt at a revenge 'kill,' as evidenced by the name of the attack, Retaliate. Fortunately Severa had already done her job, so Seria was less worried about it. The Liepard calmly fell over and fainted peacefully it seemed, with little anger in her movement. Seria silently and wordlessly recalled her fainted Pokemon. "OK, G.S.D, now come on out, give this one a shot," Seria called out and soon the Slowpoke waddled out and looked lazily at the Lopunny. "Right-o, G.S.D, use your Scald attack on the Lopunny!" Seria commanded.

The Slowpoke tilted his head from side to side, and began to gargle something out madly before spitting out burning hot water at the Lopunny, attempting to scald and burn him.

Tanya decided to let the attack hit. There was only so much switching she could do before it go redundant. Indeed, Daniel put up a valiant effort to stay upright, but it seemed like things weren't going to be that way. With Daniel fainting, she knew that she was on the backfoot. Thinking about which pokemon to go next, she had an idea.

"Christopher! Use Aromatherapy!" Tanya ordered, throwing out her pokeball. She wasn't sure if another opportunity like this would come up again, so she decided to take full advantage of it while she could. When Christopher appeared, he started to glow brightly and let out a cry. When he cried, he let out a green-ish powder that floated in the air, healing status ailments of her pokemon. She was going to make it easier for Daniella in the future. After all, even if the Slowpoke had Ice Beam, she probably could just recover the health she lost.

Action: Daniel fainted. Christopher the Serperior comes in and uses Aromatherapy! Daniella no longer Badly Poisoned!

Seria did a fistpump as G.S.D's Scalding attack was able to knock out the Lopunny. However, Tanya sent out a Serperior which was weak to one of G.S.D's attacks. And what perplexed Seria even more was that the Pokemon was not commanded to attack with a strong Grass-type move which would severely damage the Slowpoke, instead opting to use Aromatherapy. So she's more concerned with the condition of her Pokemon than trying to knock me out now. She really wants that Musharna to stay alive, it seems. Seria thought as she furtively stroked her chin. If that's the case, the Serperior may have a move to keep himself alive, too. Like Synthesis. Even so... Seria scratched her head.

"You caught me out, sister," Seria smiled, affectionately referring to Tanya as 'sister.' "Here we go, G.S.D, apply the Ice Beam on the Serperior!" The Slowpoke nodded and heaved and puffed, releasing a freezing ray of ice at the grass-powered serpent, chilling him with a fearsome ice attack.

Tanya gritted her teeth when the Slowpoke used Ice Beam. While she should've known that Seria would have that move, she still had confidence that Christopher would comfortably take the attack. Her assumption proved to be correct, as Christopher shrugged off the damage, trying to look like the attack had no effect on him, even though there were traces of ice along his body.

"You've improved a lot since our last match. I think I might even lose if you keep this up sis!" Tanya called out in response, a little surprised at the name, but taking it in her stride and regarding it as a compliment. Seria was a pretty awesome sister to have anyway. She smirked at Seria before shouting back at her. "However, you bet your ass I'm not just going to ease up for you. You better play with your A-game. Christopher, use Giga Drain!"

Standing still, Christopher let out a huff before shooting out green tendrils at her opponent. Once they made contact, they would suck the nutrients out of the pokemon, transferring them to Christopher and healing any damage he sustained. While Tanya knew Christopher was disappointed about not being able to cross his arms, he still had time to find another pose he could adopt when using the attack.

Action: Christopher used Giga Drain!

The Slowpoke yawned as it saw the Serperior let out a huff, and eventually G.S.D wiggled as the green tendrils struck deep into the Pokemon, draining lots of energy and such from him... It was painful, to be sure, but somehow, G.S.D was able to barely survive. Unfortunately, this came with the nasty side-effect of giving the Serperior some of her life force back, which meant that this next attack probably wouldn't knock out in spite of a super effective move. Giga Drain, of course, Seria thought. No matter. "G.S.D, hang in there! Use Ice Beam again! Try and go for the freeze!"

The Slowpoke weakly hobbled and eventually launched another undulating freezing ray which collided straight into the great green grass serpent, attempting to chill her with the cold, and of course, frost materialized on her shortly. "Good job, you're fighting well." Seria said to nobody in particular - was she complimenting her Pokemon, or was she commending everyone?

Luckily, Christopher didn't get frozen by the attack. Due to basically healing up all of the damage from the last attack, he was able to comfortably take the Ice Beam attack, shaking his body to remove the ice that had clung to it. Impressively, Christopher didn't seem too bothered by the attack, looking towards the Slowpoke in mild annoyance.

"Giga Drain, once again!" Tanya commanded, hoping to knock out another pokemon and gain back some energy. Letting out a huff, Christopher shot out green tendrils once again, ensnaring their opponent and draining their energy. Tanya watched the battle commence, hoping to find a strategy to get through. Seria still hadn't revealed one of her pokemon. She was curious to find out what it was.

Action: Christopher used Giga Drain!

[Seria Floria]

G.S.D wiggled and watched as the Serperior used Giga Drain again. Looked like the Ice Beam didn't freeze, so G.S.D will get knocked out by this next attack. And predictably, the Giga Drain attack did a huge number on the Slowpoke who responded by flopping over and promptly falling unconscious. Seria nodded and recalled the Pokemon, and soon thought hard about who her next Pokemon would be. Seria nodded and threw out the Pokeball, and the Sawsbuck appeared, it was another Grass-type Pokemon to be sure, but Seria had a way to handle other Grass types. "Antenora, use Swords Dance!" Seria called out as the Sawsbuck soon began to trot about in place, doing a bit of a jig and dance, and soon red energy began to overflow from Antenora's horns and legs. Seria grinned as she held the Serperior at a crossroads. Use a Grass-attack and give Sawsbuck energy from 'Sap Sipper,' or switch out and then that Pokemon gets punished by a boosted attack.

"I'm not gonna hold back either!" Seria grinned.

Antenora used Swords Dance, ATK + 2 boost!

Tanya was expecting that Sawsbuck to make an appearance. Interested to see how she had improved, she felt a mixture of proudness and pure horror when she realized that she had taught the Sawsbuck Swords Dance. Now that was not something she wanted to see on her opponent. With the possibility of the Sawsbuck having Sap Sipper, Tanya knew that any attack would be useless on the pokemon. There was really only one thing left to do.

"Use Wrap on the Sawsbuck Christopher!" Tanya commanded, chewing her lip as she started to come up with a new plan. Christopher started to slither towards the Sawsbuck, moving swiftly in an attempt to catch the pokemon by surprise while she was still dancing. Once he was close, Christopher attempted to ensnare his opponent, trapping her in his own body before he began to squeeze.

Action: Christopher used Wrap!

Seria facepalmed as she found out the hard way that the Serperior actually had Wrap. And of course, the Serperior was able to constrict Antenora with the tight and powerful serpent body she had. It looked like Antenora was going to struggle in that Serperior's body for a while. However, she was able to flail about a bit and struggle further, and Seria called out for a way for Antenora to strike back. "It's alright, Antenora! Keep struggling and fighting back, maybe provoke the Serperior with a Megahorn!" Seria called out, and soon the Sawsbuck began furiously trotting about, wrestling against the Serperior's body, trying to smash her antlers into the Grass-type snake Pokemon. It would be hard, and there would be a fair chance that Antenora actually failed that attack, but it was worth a shot.

"Use Protect to guard yourself!" Tanya shouted, knowing that a single Megahorn could easily spell a one hit knockout. While she knew that Megahorn was one of those moves that had questionable accuracy, she still reckoned there was a pretty high chance for the attack to go through and for now, all she wanted to do was inflict as much damage as she could.

Christopher let out a cry and erected a large green barrier in front of him. When the Sawsbuck tried to attack the Serperior, her attacks would just harmlessly bounce off the shield, acting as a buffer between Christopher and the other pokemon. The wrap couldn't last for too long though and Tanya knew it was only a matter of time before she was able to throw Christopher off. She was taking things as they came though.

Action: Christopher used Protect! All attacks nullified this turn. Wrap deals 1/8th damage in health again.

Seria rolled her eyes as she soon realized the severity of the matter once Tanya called out for her Serperior to use 'Protect.' She would try to stall the battle out and attempt to inflict daamge over time via Wrap on Antenora instead because she could do nothing else, and switching would have given Antenora and opportunity to deal damage for free. So instead she would have the Serperior use Protect so the attack would be nullified. So it goes. "Such a strategy won't last you forever, you know." Seria sighed as she tapped her feet on the ground again. "Keep on trying. Just persevere and try and make that Megahorn connect! It'll definitely knock out that Serperior if it goes through." Seria called out, a hint of frustration in her voice.

The Sawsbuck flailed about violently again, trying to shake off the Serperior, and once again attempted to knock her antlers into the great serpent. However, there was a good chance that Tanya would ask her Serperior to use Protect again. Anyway, Seria couldn't do anything anymore because Antenora was Wrapped, so it would be impossible to switch out. Substitute wouldn't have done anything either.

"I know." Tanya said matter-of-factly, letting the attack go through. Christopher had achieved what she had planned for him to do. There was no way he was going to survive any of the Sawsbuck's Megahorns. Once the horn made contact with the Serperior, he let out an angusihed cry, his grip slackening as the attack had knocked him out in a single hit. Smiling proudly, Tanya returned him to his pokeball. Turning to her Rufflet, Tanya nodded at him. On her signal, Daniel jumped foward, flapping his wings and soaring into the air as she returned Christopher to his pokeball.

"Knock out the Sawsbuck with Brave Bird!" Tanya shouted, watching the pokemon get even higher. Soaring high above the stadium, Derrick tucked his wings in and began to fall, blue flames starting to surround him as he shot like a bullet to the floor. Once he was close, Derrick opened his wings and changed directions, flying at a breakneck pace towards the Sawsbuck, the flames exploding out and becoming a blue aura. She had total confidence that the attack would automatically wipe out the pokemon, so she looked confidently at Seria as Derrick flew.

Action: Christopher fainted! Derrick sent in and attacks with Brave Bird!
