"Yeah, I remember." Tanya sighed, thinking back to the Marvo City attack. She had it relatively rough, but nowhere near as bad as Seria. If she recalled correctly, she was brought down to her last pokemon. That was not a very nice prospect, especially considering the context of the scenario.

"Well, the only thing you can really do is try and get better. From what I've seen today, you're well on your way to becoming really good at battling. It got pretty dicey in that match for me and your use of pokemon was really good. Once you train up your others, I reckon, with a full team, you'll be a scary force to behold." She probably needed a little pep talk. After all, battling can be quite intense. "I hope we meet each other in the finals or something for the tournament. Now that would be awesome."

Seria just nodded solemnly about that. She did really feel useless after that, she made some stupid mistakes and almost got totally demolished for making them. It was fairly demoralizing. "I suppose you are right, nothing more to do than to move forward at this point," she said, sighing. "Well, thank you for your vote of confidence, I will do my best in the tournament and hopefully we will both make it far... That would be for the best." Seria said, trying to comfort herself and make it so she could take that loss a bit better than she normally did. It just goes to show that the only way to do well in these kind of things is to possess dedication and show some hard work and effort. After all, theorycrafting only goes so far.
