This tournament is a tournament for beginners with Pokemon who aren't fully evolved. As such, only base form Pokemon may be entered in this tournament. Participants have until the 19th of July to sign-up their team. Teams may consist of up to four Pokemon, however, each battle will only be two on two. The third and fourth options are to give your team a bit of versatility.
The Pokemon you wish to use in this tournament must all be listed in your sign-up post as well as their moveset and ability. This is to prevent people from changing their movesets midway. Finally, Pokemon that sign up may only use up to two extra moves. Should they have more than two extra moves, they are still allowed to enter, however their two moves that they will be using for the tournament must be listed in the participant's sign up post.

• The rules for the tournament function like any other battle for the most part. However, a few limits will be put in place for this tournament.
• As stated above, up to four Pokemon may be signed up with battles consisting of two each.
• Only base-stage Pokemon may be signed up. Pokemon that cannot evolve are prohibited.
• The use of battle items of any kind is prohibited. This includes healing items as well as any held items.
• Failure to post in a battle after one day will be considered a forfeit. Special exceptions can be made ahead of time to postpone to 2 days once. Since this is a tournament, battles need to end quickly to move onto the next round.
• The tournament will be a single elimination bracket which will be drawn up at the close of sign-ups.
• There will be a prize for the winner. Prizes for runner ups will be decided based on the number of participants. The prizes themselves will be kept secret until given out.
